The Historic 1889 Walton House. This cozy home offers a charming front porch, large windows that afford plenty of natural light in the three bedrooms, two bathrooms, dinning room, living room and eating nook. There are many original details that make this home a memorable experience when staying in Historic Snohomish.
We would like our guest to respect our neighbors at all times with quiet time at 9:30pm. Please, NO parties, smoking or pets. This house is a shoe free house, please remove your shoes before entering.
This historic home is in the heart of downtown historic Snohomish, just two blocks from antique shops, restaurants, bakeries, wine tasting, music, coffee houses, wedding venues, and locally owned and operated specialty shops. Bring your bicycles and cycle the Centennial Trail, or take the plunge at the Snohomish Aquatic Center, just minutes away.
The Walton House has three bedrooms with three queen beds. Enjoy all the luxuries of home with three TV’s, Wifi, washer, dryer, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, oven, stove, dishwasher and board games. The kitchen is fully furnished, and a heat pump and air conditioning to keep you cozy and cool no matter what season you come to visit. We provide shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, laundry and dishwasher soap.
This is a family friendly environment and we are happy to share this house with you. We would like our guest to respect our neighbors at all times with quiet time at 9:30pm. Please, NO parties, smoking or pets.
Parking is provided on the gravel driveway, as well as street parking.
Prior to your stay, you will receive an email with an access code to the keyless door lock on the front door. This key code will be active starting 4 PM on the day of your arrival until 11AM on the day of your check out.
Please leave all dirty linens in the bathtub upon check out.

Make sure to visit our local farmers markets or produce stands to prepare farm to table food. Only a 30 mile drive to Seattle, and a 15 minute drive to Woodinville known as “Woodinville Wine Country” with over 90 wineries. This is a family friendly environment and we are happy to share this house with you.

Loved this property! Located two blocks from downtown Snohomish. All towels and linens were fresh & silky smooth which is not something I would normally expect. Kitchen was fully stocked and perfect for cooking our Christmas dinner. Two zone heating was quiet and efficient, house was definitely warm and cozy.

What a terrific house. Every detail has been addressed. House was extraordinarily clean. Beautiful yard with great furniture and fire pit (although weather was rainy and too cold to utilize) short walk to town with several great restaurants and fun shopping.
We were visiting our son and his family in Lake Stevens; and this house was perfect for overflow (and peace & quiet).
We will absolutely use this house again!

We traveled to Snohomish with friends of 40 years to celebrate my son's wedding - the home was lovely! Very well stocked with everything needed, even a steamer to ensure we looked our best. This was our first trip to Seattle and the surrounding area. We were there for a wedding that was happening outside of Snohomish. This was the most amazing house! First of all, it’s adorable and comfortable. The beds were great quality, and we love the special touch of blankets scattered throughout for the cool mornings. The backyard set up with a small fire pit was the frosting on the cake. And the kitchen is outfitted with everything you could possibly need an amazing quality pots and pans dishes silverware, etc. If we ever get back to this neighborhood, I will stay in this house every time! A fantastic experience I highly recommend it

We were a group of five friends, two married couples and one single gal, visiting from California for a wedding. The house was absolutely perfect for us. Three folks flew in to Seattle, while my husband and I drove. The Walton House was easy to get to, the neighborhood was FANTASTIC, and we were two blocks from historic downtown Snohomish, which made is so convenient for shopping and eating.
The charm of the home is so evident as you walk up the steps and past the HUGE tree in the front yard. You know this house has been here for many of years, even though it's over 130 years old, the updates are tastefully excellent. Comfy beds, seating indoors and outdoors, central air heating and cooling, and beautiful bathrooms. Our favorite place to gathering at anytime, was the backyard patio with the couches and chairs. I especially love the early mornings and if I had purchased some Presto logs, it would have been lovely to use the firepit.
The kitchen was well stocked with lots of pantry items leftover from other guests. We even used the washer and dryer for a quick load.
Thank you for an excellent stay and if we are in the area again, we would love to stay.
p.s. You HAVE to take several walks around the neighborhood to see the homes and the gardens!!! So inspiring.

Overall great property! Two things not to our liking. The stairs to the second story were very steep, not a problem for us since we just stayed downstairs. But would be tough if you have any knee or hip issues. When we left at 10:30 am on checkout day, (checkout time is 11:00am) I went back to get my water and the digital code was already changed and locked me out. Good thing we already had everything else in the car. Now above and beyond that, everything was very well appointed. Good a.c. Great kitchen with every thing you need, plus condiments. Bed comfy, plent of extra blankets and places to put clothes. The bathroom has Dove shower gel, Pantene shampoo and conditioner, Dove body lotion. Hand soap and kitchen soaps were liquid and very nice. Also provided shower caps and dental floss, great touch. They even supply laundry soap. Oh, be sure to buy ice if you use it a lot, we do.Definitely would stay again.

Nice stay in Snohomish
The house was generally as depicted. Communication was quick with one exception but the owner reached out & we got things corrected immediately once I contacted her. The home was comfortable, very clean & had everything that we needed. They even left a dozen of farm fresh eggs for us along with coffee.
The current furniture in the back yard had no cushions and obviously hadn't been moved in some time and is not as depicted. A table with chairs & an umbrella would be a really nice addition to the nice backyard. An addition of some chairs (folding if needed) would also be a nice way to enjoy the wonderful front porch. We very much appreciated the steamers that were available that helped in getting ready for the wedding we were there to attend. Nice place.

The property was wonderful. Beautiful private back yard with fire pit was great for relaxing & visiting. The home was squeaky clean & well appointed. Kitchen was well equipped. Only 2 block walk to downtown. I would highly recommend this place to others!

2,500 miles & worth the trip!
This property is fabulous! This is by far the BEST equipped kitchen I have ever seen in a rental! The beds are extremely comfortable. The dining room table was big enough for the 6 of us, no food outside of the kitchen and dining room. This is a "no shoes" house...we brought flip flops with us to wear inside. The town of Snohomish and its residents couldnt be nicer... beautiful shops and local restaurants that are in walking distance. Conveniently located to local sites, such as Woodenville, Everett, Edmunds, and Seattle. 45 minutes from SEATAC. Safeway is 1 mile and Fred Myer is 2.5 miles away. It is salmon season on the Snohomish river...which is also within walking distance. This house is a gem!

We recently stayed at The Walton House and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We live in Snohomish, but our home was damage from a flood and we needed to be out of our home for a week while they repaired it. The stay at this home was perfect for my family of 5. A little small, but honestly I prefer small and quaint. The homeowner hasn't missed beat with the design / farmhouse factor of this home. Everything is decorated so cute, and there is so much detail and thought put into each room. From the chandeliers to the glass doorknobs -- we admired every little nook and cranny. Great location, walking distance to everything. We love The Looking Glass and Spada Farmhouse Brewery and went to both a few times while shopping downtown and then going to the skate park with the kiddos. Thank you!
