The Beach Cottage is spacious, tastefully-appointed, and fully-equipped to ensure a wonderful vacation. There are kayaks and SUPs for you to explore the bay and the sandy beach is a crowd pleaser.

Enjoy the North Fork of Long Island and all that it offers (beaches, vineyards, gourmet restaurants, boutique shops, farm stands, and more!) conveniently from our classic summer Beach Cottage.

One other house shares the property, the Spectacular Beachfront Contemporary (5 BR/3 BA ~ VRBO #188488) which is also available for rent.

The first thing most of our guests do is to go check out the beach! Less than a 100 yards away, follow the wooded path on the right side of the private property down to a set of four green Adirondack chairs on a sandy upper beach area looking out over the splendor of the Great Peconic Bay. Down a short set of steps is private beach... your own personal slice of heaven! We provide our guests with beach equipment to make the most of their stay - two kayaks, two stand up paddle boards, life jackets, beach chairs, beach umbrella, kids toys, etc.

Back at the house - upon entering, you'll find a well-equipped Kitchen that has been freshly renovated with all new cabinetry, countertops and stainless Whirlpool appliances. The Entry Bath is just around the corner with a large shower, large vanity and toilet.

Past the Kitchen and Entry Bath, the Great Room offers the real "wow factor" of the house..... with its beautiful cathedral ceiling and comfortable, timeless furnishings. There is a lovely seating area with cozy couch seating, a decorative fireplace, and a formal dining table. Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy each others company or sprawl out!

To access the main-level Master Bedroom, you walk through a comfortable TV room with a Samsung Smart TV that has cable television and streaming services. This is a wonderful reading room during a hot summer afternoon.

The air-conditioned Master Bedroom is on the main level with a queen-size bed, dresser and ensuite private bathroom. The ensuite Master Bathroom has a vanity, large shower, toilet and washer/dryer.

Upstairs you'll find the fun! The large Upstairs Dormer bedroom has a wide open floor plan with a queen bed and a twin trundle bed. This room is absolutely perfect for kids, a family or for a relaxed group of friends! There is in-room air conditioning/heating and blackout blinds.

Back downstairs, there is a lovely screened-in porch that provides a private haven on the back of the house with no visible neighbors and rarely a sound other than the birds and the breeze. It has comfortable seating and an outdoor breakfast table - the perfect place to read, nap, or enjoy your morning coffee.

Just outside the screened-in porch, there is an outdoor deck with umbrella covered porch dining and an outdoor grill for backyard barbecues! In the front of the house, there is a quilted hammock for lazing in the warm afternoon breeze.

With permission, we allow well behaved, friendly pets (flat pet fee $150).

Guests will have the entire home to themselves and will access the house via an entry code after check in hours.

I am available 24/7 for questions by text/phone and should a problem arise our local property manager lives less than one mile away and can be there on short notice!

There is another beachfront rental home on the property (VRBO #188488) with separate access to the beach so both parties can ensure privacy.

Location location location! We are located in the heart of North Fork's wine country, with fantastic restaurants, gourmet shops, farm stands, delis, boutiques, and more located just minutes away! The property itself is peaceful and very secluded, with 200' of private sandy beach on the Great Peconic Bay.

You will need a car to access the property, as Uber/Lyft are scarce on the North Fork of Long Island and taxis aren't readily available. If other members of your party are joining you by train, bus, or ferry - they are all easily accessible from the Cottage!

LIRR has regular scheduled trains from Penn Station (NYC) via Ronkonkoma to Mattituck station which is located 5 min away from the house. There are also multiple coach bus pickup locations that go to/from NYC and Orient Point. The Cross Sound Ferry (Orient Point to New London, CT) is 35 min from the house and provides the best access to New England travelers.

There are multiple limo companies available for winery tours - a fun and responsible way to enjoy the best of the North Fork!

There is parking for up to 3 vehicles at the house.

We value peace and quiet and discourage parties and loud music. We do not allow large events or weddings at the house.

We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 26 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent. Please note, there is NO smoking permitted in the cottage.

Rentals are from May 1st thru October 15th as the Cottage is not winterized.
