About this cabin rental
Five bedroom, two full bath, knotty pine cabin on a large private pond with fishing dock and beautiful setting. Close to skiing, lake activities, casino, and Yosemite.
First floor has a full bathroom, with two bedrooms. Each room has 1 queen size bed.
Second floor has a full bathroom, and three bedrooms. Two rooms with 1 queen size bed in each room, and 1 bedroom with four full size beds.
First floor has a living room, full kitchen, and dining room. Off the dining room, is a sliding glass door with a deck overlooking the pond. The deck has a table with chairs and a BBQ grill.
Laundry room with washer and dryer.
First floor has a full bathroom, with two bedrooms. Each room has 1 queen size bed.
Second floor has a full bathroom, and three bedrooms. Two rooms with 1 queen size bed in each room, and 1 bedroom with four full size beds.

Beautiful family getaway cabin, close to town but private area that was quiet. Bunk room worked well for the kids and each adult enjoyed their separate spaces. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings made our stay enjoyable.

It was very hot. No air conditioning but lots of fans and we brought a couple as well. We still had a good time. Ventured out a little and drove to Twain Harte to the community pool for some swimming and some mini golf and shaved ice. The boys did a little fishing at the pond. My son caught one the first night there. Saw a couple deer too.

Upon arrival, we had to clean the deck and wash down the outdoor table. Because there is no a/c we opened windows to cool the house. Some windows didn’t open or needed screens replaced. We had to add and/or replace light bulbs. Several of the deck seating options were broken. The weeds in the backyard were a foot high. We brought rubber 2 person boats but deemed the dock not a safe place to launch from due to poking branches, etc. surrounding it. It just wasn’t what we were used to from VRBO. We were able to fish from the dock where the children learned to cast their lines.

The house was great, plenty of room and a great location. Due to the unseasonable hot weather the house was quite hot.

Great place to stay with a big group. Very spacious. Cabin was well stocked and very clean. I would stay here again.

Fun! Fun! Fun!
We had a wonderful vacation at the beautiful home by the pond. We like the woodsy decor. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortableple. There were plenty of blankets and towels for the whole week. The TV got movies on our Netflix and Disney Plus accounts. We played some of the games at night. We took walks around the neighborhood and borrowed two books from the “Free Book Exchange Box.” Some of our family paddled around the pond in our paddle boat and kayak. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking at the view of the pond with the geese and nice sunsets.
There were lots of things to do nearby. We went to the moaning Caverns, but our group was too tired to go to the Calif. Caverns. (We should have gone there first.) The next day we went to Columbia State Park and road the stagecoach and drank Sarsaparillas and ate candy. On the stagecoach we sang songs. We enjoyed watching “The Little Mermaid” that was playing live at the Fallon House Theater in Columbia. The tickets are with Sierra Rep. It was terrific! We stopped at the Frosty shop for lunch and milkshakes during the week.
On the third day, we rented a pontoon boat on New Melonies and waterskied, tubbed and fished. We counted 14 deer at the lake and along the road. We went to the Regal Theater in Sanora and saw “Top Gun-Maverik” and “Jurassic World” in the evenings. We also went bowling twice at the Black Oak Cassino. On the last day we went to Railtown and Jamestown and took the tour. (The train only runs on the weekends.)
My family told me that I wore them out and they didn’t get to relax much. They really had a great time. We have been taking a week vacation together for 28 years and I think it was our best vacation. Thank you so much!

This property was clean and provided many bedrooms for our large family. Two bathrooms was a little challenging for lots of people at times. Some of the furniture was dated and needed some refurbishing, but for the price, provided well for our large crew.

We had 8 adults and two children 1 and 2 year olds, we could close hall doors and stairway doors to keep them out of places we didn’t want them to go, plenty of beds we even pushed two full size beds for our 6’4” son, plenty of parking beyond 4 cars if needed, kitchen has everything and the deck was very relaxing to sit on and look over at the pond, beautiful quiet location and it made a perfect point to get to other cities and the pinecrest lake, plenty of air fans for all rooms
We had a really good stay and the closest food at Reichs inside the gas station had surprisingly good food at a decent price!

We were able to explore the area, found ourselves at a dry lake bed up in the mountains and another day at a historic town. We have never been abs went to the area on a whim and loved it. 100% would recommend the house and location is nice to explore. Thank you!

Very clean and beautiful cabin. We were very pleased with the whole weekend.
We rented for a moms get away. We had an amazing time. We stayed Thursday through Sunday. We will definitely be be renting this amazing cabin again

A great little get away cabin! Beautiful pond behind the house with a deck to sit on! This cabin was super clean and cozy! Lots of room for a group. Close to town and a park right down the street if you have kids. Rachel was so nice to deal with. We will definitely be coming back again!!

AMAZING LITTLE CABIN IN THE WOODS
A great little get away cabin! Beautiful pond behind the house with a deck to sit on! This cabin was super clean and cozy! Lots of room for a group. Close to town and a park right down the street if you have kids. Rachel was so nice to deal with. We will definitely be coming back again!!

The house is cute, lots of trees the private dock and pond we’re great for a quiet talk with a family member. It was close to Sonora in Jamestown. The kitchen was really well stocked with lots of pots and pans and some other helpers like coffee filters. Overall we had a name enjoyable weekend

Great Place to Stay
A great place to get away! Sits on a nice little pond with a dock where my son and I fished in the morning and wife and I sat and enjoyed the sunset in the evening. The interior has been recently remodeled and the kitchen was well supplied. There were only four of us but the cabin could easily fit another four to six people comfortably.
It’s just a few minutes away from all the sights to see in the local mining towns. We were there during a heat wave so we drove up to higher elevations on hwy 108 to picnic, fish and swim in the cool waters of the Tuolumne River. We returned home relaxed and well rested. Will definitely stay here again.

Was exactly what we were looking for.
It was exactly what we were looking for. The kids had a great time fishing and exploring the area. The kitchen was especially well stocked with all the utensils you could need. If your looking to explore this are of California, hiking fishing etc. I would highly recommend this property.
