About this house rental
Welcome to Elysian Escape! Here you'll find a Newly Remodeled (2100 sq ft) lakefront home that allows you to truly enjoy all Lake Norman has to offer. Enter through large glass entry-doors to hardwood floors throughout the abode, and enjoy lake views from almost every room in the home.
The home's living room features an open floor plan with a 55' LED flatscreen TV over a corner fireplace. Also, a desk area for wireless internet access with granite top and plenty of room for storage.
A gourmet kitchen, complete with GE Monogram stainless steel appliances, allows the chef of the group to easily prepare most any type of meal. A built in 32' LED TV will keep the chef and others entertained. A breakfast nook allows early risers to enjoy relaxing views of sunrises along the eastern view of beautiful Lake Norman.
Spacious dining room, with seating for 13 people, also has relaxing views of the lake
Master Suite #1 features a queen-sized bed with matching nightstands, dresser/mirror, and chest of drawers, 32' LED TV, Large walk-in closet, French Doors allow lake views and access to the backyard and lake (via brick walkway), private bathroom, with double vanity, tiled shower and separate soaking bathtub.
Master Suite #2 features a queen-sized bed, a matching nightstand, dresser w/ mirror, chest of drawers, 32' LED TV, private bathroom with double vanity, jacuzzi bathtub, and large shower. French Doors allow beautiful views and access to deck and lake.
Master Suite #3 features two twin-sized beds, nightstand, small dresser, two closets, 19' LED TV, spacious private bathroom with double vanity. French Doors allow beautiful views and access to deck and lake. These doors also include a two-way locking deadbolt.
A contemporary half-bath off of the main living area keeps traffic out of the master suites. The home also has a washer and dryer.
Spacious deck complete with gas grill and table with umbrella and six chairs and two other chairs provide enough to make outdoor entertaining easy.
Private dock for swimming, fishing and kayaking. Several companies offer boat rentals and will deliver to the dock.
Private community access lot for escorted launching of boats.
We offer comfortable beds, high-quality linens, towels, paper products, soap, shampoo, cleaning products, and a completely furnished kitchen. Books, games, cards, kayaks(2), paddle boat and water equipment allows for everyone to have something fun to do while on vacation.

This home was the perfect spot for our family to meet up and reconnect for the weekend. The location on a quiet cove is amazing and the views are incredible. The host was so accommodating and helpful with any requests we had. We rented one of the pontoon boats and it was so enjoyable to go around the lake as a family. We would definitely book this home again! Thank you Jeff!!

It's a great house for a getaway to the lake. Perfect for a family or group of friends. The backyard is lovely, with great access to the lake. The host was very responsive. We had spotty internet coverage one day, and he immediately replaced the modem and fixed the issue. We would definitely stay at this property again. Highly recommended!

The house was perfect for our family vacation. The house has a great beach, lots of fun toys like boats, kayaks, paddle boat and paddle boards. Jeff was a wonderful host, very accommodating and even invited us to his bonfire. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need for your stay, even paper products. Be house is located near lots of shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this property.

This is the second time that we have stayed at this property. 2 years in a row and both have been great experiences. The size of the house, number of bedrooms and bathrooms are perfect for us. We really like the neighborhood and how easy it is to get to grocery stores. But, the best part is the nice big deck with a great view of the lake and the little beach for us to play with our small grandchildren! The boat house has many water toys and its so nice to just have all of that on site. The owner lives right next door and has always been very kind and helpful if ever we need him. So, thanks Jeff : )

The house exceeded all our expectations. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, and each one has a view of the lake. We very much enjoyed their kayaks and pontoon boat, and we especially enjoyed swimming in the clear lake. The owners are wonderful, available to answer any questions or help in whatever way you need. We are definitely looking forward to going back again next summer.

The property had everything we needed for a family retreat. The beach, yard and dock were perfect for activities after enjoying time on the water with the pontoon boat. Jeff was accessible and very helpful with ensuring we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. Mainly rented it for the beach on the water. Our granddaughters loved it! Was nice to have a paddle boat, 2 kayaks, and 2 paddle boats. Even had a place on the dock for our son to park his boat. The pictures of the house were pretty accurate. Everyone loved having their own full size bathroom.

One of the standout features of this rental was its prime location. With easy access to the lake, we could indulge in various water activities such as boating (rental), swimming, and fishing.
The owner of the rental was incredibly accommodating and a pleasure to work with. From the moment we inquired about the property to the end of our stay, their professionalism and attentiveness were commendable. They provided detailed instructions, ensuring a seamless check-in process, and were readily available to answer any questions we had. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy much of the "lake life" due to the weather and other things we had planned for our trip. But this house is very spacious and accommodating. We had more than enough room. I would definitely come back!

Enjoyed our stay in this charming, quaint location. Host was very responsive when questions arose and was very friendly. Property tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Didn’t get chance to enjoy lake as we were there for college graduation so time was pretty booked up. If you’re looking for a quiet place with lake access, this is the spot.

From the time we arrived and met Jeff our stay was absolutely perfect. The house was everything it was made out to be and very well stocked as we enjoy cooking we will be staying again.

We rented this home for 2 weeks so that we could meet our new grand baby. It was a beautiful location and perfectly sized for our group, with plenty of space for our son and his new family to hang out with us. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and the owners were extremely kind and welcoming. The views were beautiful and accommodations were just right. We would definitely look into staying here again in the future. Thank you!!

My family and I stayed in this beautiful home, over Thanksgiving, and it did NOT disappoint! The home is located in an exquisite neighborhood & situated directly on Lake Norman-with a stunning view from almost every room! The bedrooms were spacious and the bathrooms were huge! The kitchen was a chef's dream! The back deck was a wonderful addition. We had a few hiccups during our stay, but the owner was VERY quick to remedy the issues. Overall, I would recommend staying in this home WITHOUT HESITATION- we just might be back during the warmer months to test out all of the fun water toys!

We were there for a wedding in Statesville Beautiful views. Great bedrooms. I never found the fire pit that was advertised in the listing at the time. But we really never had time to have a fire anyway. And we had perfect beautiful weather. It got cold in our last day!!

From start to finish we had a great experience! Vacationing to a new place is always risky, but this home was perfect for our family. The layout was ideal. Large bedrooms each with a large bathroom. The open kitchen, dining and family room. Great deck with wonderful views of the lake. The private beach and water toys that came with the house provided us with enough entertainment for everyone. Jeff was very helpful and we really appreciated the fact that he had went out and got sand so our grandbabies had a nice sandy beach to play on! We hope to return someday!

Taste of the Lake Life
We had a great weekend away at the lake with just a short drive from Charlotte. Jeff & Amy (owners) live next door and couldn't have been nicer. We rented one of their boats for the weekend and they outfitted us with any water toy one could want for the kids. We'll definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone. Also, the house layout is awesomely unique - there are three bedrooms each with a full bath. So much fun.

Great gem on Lake Norman!
House was perfect for our family. Loved that each bedroom has its own on suite bath. There is a nice deck with a great view of the lake. Owner was in communication with us and check in was super simple. Everything was perfect - hope to return some day.

Perfect Location!
The Elysian Escape is in such a great location on Lake Norman! Everything you could ever need is within 5 minutes of the house. The private dock makes it so convenient if you are boating and the launch ramp is just two doors down if you bring your own boat! Checking in was super easy and Jeff was a very friendly and welcoming host. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Jeff was very helpful and responsive. He assisted with getting our boat moored at the dock and was even kind enough to bring us a propane tank after 9pm! The lake is huge and having been our first time on the water we thought the location was great. If you are on the fence, go ahead and book this one. You’ll love it!

We went to Lake Norman mainly to fish. Per the description there is a dock. But because this is a recreational portion of the lake, the wake is so fierce we had to string the boat between the side of the dock and a tree to keep it from getting beat up. It took three people to accomplish this, each time we put the boat up for the night. The owner also asked us not to fry fish in the house. As this was the main purpose of the visit, to fish and eat fish, this unusual request put a crimp in our vacation.

Paradise
This is a slice of paradise. The home is spacious, immaculate, and well stocked. The views are amazing from any room in the house. Our grandsons had access to a wide variety of beach toys, a paddle boat, and a clean beach area. Most importantly, the owner was welcoming and the property was safe and secure. The yard is gorgeous with lovely shade trees over the deck. We plan to come back to this home!
