All Points North is a great home uniquely situated on 40 pristine acres. With a modern flair, this updated cottage makes for a pleasing rental experience. Situated on the lower end of the large property, the home has 2 bedrooms plus a loft bedroom and 2 bathrooms. Sleeps up to 8. This property has many fantastic areas to explore and gorgeous views. Enjoy fresh air, clear blue skies, and nature at its best. End the day around the fire pit with the starry skies above. Both charcoal and gas grills are provided. It's a great location for winter cross-country and snowshoeing. Drive 6 miles to a great Lake Michigan beach within the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, and 7 miles to the Crystal Lake public beach. Interlochen Center for the Arts is 17 miles away. This property is on the edge of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, which includes hiking trails, beaches, and great natural beauty. Head north 20 miles to climb the dunes! Have some old-fashioned fun at the Cherry Bowl Drive-In Theater, only 2 miles away. Book a tubing or kayaking adventure at Riverside, just 4 miles away. In the winter, drive 17 miles to Crystal Mountain ski resort. A well-mannered dog is welcome. Owners, please clean up after pets. No cats. -- THE PROPERTY -- Sleeps 8. This house was absolutely perfect for our family gathering! It is not only a beautiful place but it is by far one of the most well stocked houses we’ve rented. There were more than enough glasses and dishes but there was also everything we needed to cook amazing meals - plenty of pots, pans, bakeware and utensils. The wood burning stove was wonderful after a long day of skiing. We will definitely book this place again when we come to northern Michigan.

The cottage floor plan is open and spacious. It’s a great place to stay w two couples as there is a master bathroom and additional large bathroom just across from the other good size bedroom, with bedrooms on opposite side of the house. The wall of windows on the front of the house means excellent bright indirect light through the main living area all day long. Outdoor area w fire pit and grill is convenient, as is the fully stocked kitchen, everything you would need to cook great dinners and enjoy relaxing evenings after days hiking ,biking ,swimming ,fishing , boating on the numerous trails rivers and lakes all super close driving distance. Extra plus is several places to eat out w decent food and a grocery store under 20 mins away. We will definitely be back.

We had a great time at this property. The cottage was clean updated and equipped with most necessities. The location is great near the Platte River for canoe and tubing trips to Lake Michigan.

I stayed at this artist's haven for 2 months and loved it!! It is so unique, so loved, in such a beautiful setting on a slope, too many good things to mention in review. Watched winter scene turn to spring, the gardens are so pretty.the giant salmon art by the shower, the location's proximity to beaches and lakes and the local villages, so lovely, sooo happy I stayed here. Lovely cabin with lots of natural light. Close to hiking trails, with some right off the property. Stocked kitchen with everything you’ll need. Also LOVE games and puzzles in the book area; made entertaining a 5yo that much easier!

Overall we had a great stay. The decor was cozy with a modern flare. The kitchen was very well equipped with many pots and pans, cooking utensils, dishes and glassware, cooking spices and dry condiments. Having chopped dry, covered wood for the woodstove was wonderful after a snowy walk. The walking trails on the property were Not very accessible with knee deep snow and the lay of the land is straight uphill. We did not bring any pets but there was a lot of dog hair in the fluffy rug on the Living room floor; my socks were constantly covered with light colored dog hair. I tried not to walk on that rug but it is part of the main living area. The bedroom carpets were very tidy as well as the wood floors. It's a very cute place in a great location.

All in all, it was a great stay. I will note the neighbor next door is very quick to alert guests that despite the layout of the driveway, his property begins just to the right of the main garage. Within 5 minutes of arrival he came over to tell me (with a little attitude) that "my boat was parked on his property" by about a foot or two. Having that boundary line more clearly marked would have been nice, but after I moved the boat I didn't hear from him again. There's obviously some kind of dispute going on between him and the owners. Again though, it didn't detract from our enjoyment - all in all a great stay up north.

We greatly enjoyed this home it was very comfortable and well appointed. We rent a cottage in northern Michigan most summers for a week. This rental was one of the best ones we’ve had. We enjoyed visiting all our favorite beaches and towns and of course the national Lakeshore. There was plenty of room for our three small dogs who enjoyed romping on the trails and in the front yard. The In-N-Out locking system and app that we used was very friendly and accurate. We would definitely stay here again.

Platte Road House Rental
We greatly enjoyed this home it was very comfortable and well appointed. We rent a cottage in northern Michigan most summers for a week. This rental was one of the best ones we’ve had. APN was such a great home base to explore Sleeping Bear and the Empire area. The kitchen has every appliance, utensil, pot and pan you could need; the beds are comfortable, and the living space is cozy. We really loved the trails in the woods, the hike up to the lake view area is totally worth it!

We enjoyed the location. Each night we enjoyed sunset at Point Betsie Lighthouse beach. We also enjoy Sleeping Bear Dunes and Leelenau Peninsula. The property itself had great hiking as well. The kitchen was not as clean as the rest of the home. The pots and pans need replacement. The coffee pot had old coffee in it when I went to use and the coffee cups were stained. I did wash the cups and they came clean. Also, at the end of the trip I wanted to do a load of laundry and found house towels soaked inside. I called to notify management and was told they were not the house towels even when I tried to confirm they were. I was told white towels were common and were not the towels provided. I had questioned since they advertised towels were to be professionally cleaned based on COVID protocol.
