About this cabin rental
This private family lake home is sure to meet a vacationers needs. The home has a master suite with a large bedroom with a king size bed and attached bathroom. The second bedroom has a two queen beds. The third bedroom has a queen size bed. This home also has a pack and play if needed, single roll out bed, and also has a queen futon in the front porch. The lake home has a modern kitchen complete with fridge, oven/ stove, microwave and dishwasher. A stackable washer and dryer is also included. Relax by the beautiful gas fireplace and enjoy the calm and peace of the lake. This property includes 40 feet of lake shore with a dock that has enough room for two boats. This home is located close to public access and a public swimming beach. The home has a front yard spacious enough for yard games and there is a bon fire area located in the back of the home.

Very comfortable and well equipped home making our vacation relaxing and restful. The quiet cove of Lake Mille Lacs made for a small lake neighborhood vibe. Even met some of the neighbors who were very pleasant and welcoming.

My family stayed here for our Christmas celebrations, and it was perfect! There was enough space for 7 adults and a young toddler, and we enjoyed playing card games, puzzles, and cooking meals together. We even went on a walk around the neighborhood. We will be back again!

Went to try and ice fish and unfortunately it was foggy the whole trip and the ice was too slippery due to rain. The cabin provided a nice place to relax and enjoy unplugging from home.

It was just what we wanted for our family to come together for Thanksgiving. We brought our holiday dinner and had no problem cooking it in the well stocked kitchen. Set up our annual jigsaw puzzle, and yes, we found their card table!! The kids had plenty of room to play and remained occupied for the whole two days. Highly recommend.

Your family had a wedding up by Lake Mille Lacs and we wanted to stay somewhere then the usual hotels. We wanted to make a vacation out of it. The property we stayed on exceeded those expectations. This spacious home is easily accessible from the cities. The Bayview Bar and Grill is within walking distance and offers great food. The owner has everything you could ask for in the kitchen (loved the coffee bar -well stocked with treats and coffee.) The beds were comfy and there are plenty of blankets and pillows. The red, white and blue decor is lovely. Walk across the road to the private dock (the string of lights is on in the evenings.) Nice fire pit in the back yard, it was raining when we were there, so it was a shame we didn't use it. We caught dozens of fish, (sunfish, perch and bass) but they we too small to keep. I would recommend this property to couples and families!

We had such a wonderful time at this property. It was only about 90 mins from the Twin Cities. The lake was right across from the house with a dock for easy access. The location is in a cove so you are protected from the stong winds that Mille Lacs can whip up. Our friends had a great time paddleboarding.
The house was very clean with a well appointed kitchen. The property owner was so easy to work with and never took longer than 5-10 minutes to respond to our inquiries which we really appreciated. The only thing we found was that one of the bedrooms on the first floor actually has a Queen bed now rather than the Twin/Full bunk beds in the listing. It worked out for us so no worries.
We would visit this property again in the future.

This was the perfect cabin for a halfway meeting point for our Northern MN and metro lifelong friends! It has great open concept space for visiting and nice sitting spaces for quiet times. Clean, cozy, and welcoming. It's in a great little neighborhood for walks and also walking distance from a neat little bar and grill.

As much as I don’t want to review this property because I want to keep it a secret for myself…… this listing doesn’t do it justice. This property has everything you need for a getaway. They think of everything from the kitchen stocked to the little things. I’m an avid runner and this properties location is perfect! It is not busy and you feel safe within the roads! We will most definitely be returning!!!

Our family of five and two grandparents had the best time at this cabin! It was perfect - very spacious, clean and the view of the lake was incredible. Definitely would stay here again! Our family had a wonderful time.

We spent our yearly family extended weekend here at the Peterson’s cabin. We found that we were not wanting for anything as the cabin was well supplied with all the amenities. With Mille Lacs lake out the front door and two State parks within easy driving distance we found plenty to do to fill our time. The Kitchen was well supplied and it was only a short walk to the Bay View bar and grill for a burger.
The neighborhood was friendly and welcoming.

We loved everything about our stay. The house has a perfect layout for 2 couples with one bedroom upstairs and 2 downstairs.
The kitchen was fully stocked so we were able to cook our meals at home each night. We loved sitting by the fire every night and the view of the lake was beautiful. Beds were comfortable!
Check in was easy and the host was great with communication.
We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I wanted to get away from the Arizona heat and thought a lake house in Minnesota would be nice. We found the perfect spot on Mille Lacs Lake. This is a wonderful place to relax and tour around MN, it has everything you could possible need and so much more. We took day trips to Lake Superior, North Dakota, and even went to the Minnesota State Fair! We also went out on the lake and caught several smallmouth bass, excellent memories. Dave is a wonderful host and we thank him and his family for sharing their home on the lake with us. I wish we would've stayed longer instead of coming home to 109 degree weather.

This house had everything we needed for our two families to get together. The proximity to the Twin Cities can't be beat. The dock and nearby beach met of our fishing and swimming needs. The house came with every cooking implement we needed, plenty of extra bedding, and a lovely fire ring in the back yard. The owner answered our questions almost immediately. It was the best communications I have had with the manager at a rental property. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home on the lake! This house has everything you need for a relaxing retreat away from home. Enough space for everybody (we’re a family of four) to have their own space but be together to enjoy time together. We would recommend this to other families.

You need to stay here!
This property is beautiful and location can’t be beat- It’s right in Cove Bay! It’s clean, spacious and well taken care of.
It has that log home with modern amenities look and feel that we were looking for. We rented a pontoon and had the time of our lives- between fishing, boating, going to the local restaurants/watering holes and hanging out at the property. Even if there was terrible weather and you were unable to venture out, this would be the place you’d want to be. Lots of space and entertainment. Or just turn the lights off and watch the fireplace. This has whatever you’re in the mood for. Even our 4 kids had a blast. Got them to enjoy being off their devices for 6 days!
The property owner is amazingly responsive (1:30 am mystery beeping and immediate response.). Thanks Dave!
Overall, I can’t wait to stay here again.

Great weekend!
Check-in was very easy and the house felt so roomy and welcoming. Communicating with the host was easy and they responded quickly to questions. We were able to make sure the 3 infants had their separate areas for napping (we brought pack n plays to set up in each bedroom) and there was plenty of room for the adults to spread out and relax as we conversed without bothering the littles. The kitchen was spacious and close to the living and dining area which created a great open space for being able to join in the conversations while prepping for meals. The island counter was such a great spot for a "buffet" line of food. The kitchen also had a couple crock pots, a waffle maker, and plenty of servingware/mixing bowls/cups (we brought our own crock pot and waffle maker because we weren't sure if it was included, so we didn't use the host's). They also have a few baby items at the house like an infant tub, pack n play, changing pad, and a small mattress. We mostly stayed inside because it was still snowy in the yard (and we had infants), but the fire pit looked inviting! The sun was beautiful and minimal traffic so a walk around with the babies was perfect. There is also a grocery store under 7 miles away with friendly staff. We didn't quite juggle check-out well with getting the dishes and towels washed and put away in good time, so I think next time I would either not plan breakfast that morning or I would bring disposable dishes just for that meal. It was such a great home and we would love to stay again in the future!

Second time staying here. Always clean and comfortable. Very cozy feeling cabin. Rented a fish house from one of the resorts nearby and snowmobiled out to it. David the property owner is excellent to communicate with.

Beautiful lake cabin
The cabin was even nicer than I was hoping for. It was very clean and cozy, also having really nice wood throughout. We had a great time just relaxing as a family for three nights, away from our usual routine.

We celebrated Christmas early with family at this home. It was so homey and roomie. The pictures didn’t do it justice. It’s a very lovely home and had everything we needed. To make a big Christmas meal and gather. Highly recommend this home and hope to get back when the lake isn’t frozen. .

Beautiful and clean home. We did a lot of cooking and had everything we needed. Great location to state parks for fantastic hiking. Dave was super responsive. We can’t wait to come back again!

We enjoyed our visit even though the fishing wasn’t the best this weekend. The cabin had everything we needed. The sunset was amazing and the view of the lake was beautiful. Dave was available for any questions we had. I would totally recommend this property to others.
