This endearing home embodies Yachats' affectionate nickname, the 'Gem of the Oregon Coast.' A DVD/Blu-ray player and cable are included, plus you can use the Smart TV to log into your personal Netflix account. There is also an assortment of board games, so during stormy evenings spread out on the rug for endless entertainment or use the wireless Internet access to catch up on your email.
The living room opens into the kitchenette that features all the major appliances and cooking utensils (including Calphalon cookware) that you require to satisfy your culinary needs. A refrigerator, stovetop/oven, and microwave are at hand for mixing ingredients and preparing delicious cuisine. A coffee grinder and coffee maker are included for brewing delicious cups of your favorite morning beverage. A cute wooden dining table provides the perfect space to share meals and although there isn't a dishwasher, you can always let the mess soak while you enjoy a sunset from the back deck.
When the sun is shining, plan a picnic-style lunch on the back deck. It's a perfect nook for relishing a few chapters of your favorite book, or writing reflections in a journal. Pick up fresh seafood while you're in town and bring it back to prepare on the grill. There's even an outdoor fire pit for roasting marshmallows and making s'mores for dessert. The cottage is just steps from the beach and a short drive to town. It’s the perfect size for two people. It’s close to lots of beautiful sights and tidepools. Hope to be lucky enough to stay here again someday!

We enjoyed our stay very much, EXCEPT, most of why we chose the cottage in the woods was because of the ocean view the advertisement showed. THERE WAS NO VIEW OF THE OCEAN!!! There were 2 houses that obstructed any view there might have been! Your advertising needs to be changed to NOT show a view of the ocean. As it is now, it's false advertising. The bed is too large for the size of the bedroom. Other than those two complaints, we loved the cottage. All of the amenities were fantastic!

This was in a very quiet and secluded area. Perfect for a weekend getaway. We would stay here again if ever back in the area

Lovely small cabin, fully furnished with ample firewood for the fire ring. Cozy living quarters in a beautiful secluded forest with a wide path to the beach. We will be back!

Great location, very quiet and very clean at check in.

We enjoyed our stay, and the walk to the beach really wasn't bad, even with the rocks mentioned in the listing. It was a nice little cottage, but the yard could have been better taken care of. It was pretty long and some poison oak. However, that didnt affect our stay because we just wanted the beach!

This house was perfect for a little get away for a few days. The walk to the beach was fairly easy for us and the beach never had many people on it. The furniture is not the most comfortable but overall the property is great.

Absolutely loved my morning walk to and from the beach.

My girlfriend, dogs, and I stayed in what we called “the hobbit house” in the middle of a rainstorm and it was epic! The covered patio area was perfect to watch the rain, and still stay dry.
The house was very clean and had everything we needed! The furniture was very comfortable and plenty of activities to keep busy. We had an issue with the hot water heater, but within an hour the repairman was out and made reset the switch. He was super friendly and told us about the area. We didn’t walk to the beach, mostly because trying to get the dogs down the wet rocks seemed unsafe. However, we were so close to other access points, it didn’t matter to us.
Overall, a perfect place with very accommodating hosts.
Will definitely stay again!

The cabin was cute and cozy. The bed was extremely comfortable, and it was very well stocked. Minor detail: we couldn't find the base for the blender. The view of the ocean from the path was wonderful. We did have some problems, however. First, we found the instructions for the heater confusing. The heater near the bathroom didn't respond to the programming. The one in the front did. But the big issue was the keys. It was hard to get the key to work going in, and then it never worked again -- despite jiggling. It locked and unlocked from the inside but not the outside. The next morning, we called because we didn't know what to do. We were told it would be taken care of. In the meantime, we left the back door open, which didn't feel fair to the owner or us, since we left laptops, etc., there when we left for the only full day we had. When we got back to the cabin, there was no note or call about what had been done and we didn't see any change. We called again that night because we were leaving the next morning, and again, nothing was done. We were advised to jiggle the key, which we tried over nad over. The first time we used it to get in, it was iffy, but after that, it didn't work. When we left the next morning, we ended up being a little late because we couldn't get the lock box to fit into its box either. But it looked like the housekeeper was waiting so we left. The key situation created quite a bit of stress for us, which was a shame. That's why only 4 stars.

Great little get away and the cabin is very comfortable. Summertime highway noise might be problematic during the warmer season if you like sleeping with open windows. Lesson for us was overlooking the trash pickup info on the refrigerator - we didn't see that and failed to put the trash cans out - had some cosmetic damage to our car with the employees yanking cans around.

Perfect little cabin in the woods with excellent beach access.

I liked this property because of its location and price. The house was small. However there were red ants that got tracked inside that were biting both so us! It looks like they just removed some trees so I’m not surprised of that issue but the ants need to be exterminated for sure..
Aside from that issue I liked the fully stocked kitchen. It was a cute house and the bathroom was nice, loved the shower!

Cute little cabin. Perfect for a couple and kitchen is very well stocked. Bed is much firmer than we are used to and we found it to be pretty uncomfortable but that’s really our only complaint. Loved the fire pit and it’s a short walk to the beach.

The house was very neat and clean. It is perfect for two people. The short walk to the beach was nice. There are boulders at the bottom of the steps that you have to go over so anyone with walking difficulties will want to drive. We very much enjoyed our stay.

This cabin and is super cozy and has everything I had hoped. Close to both Yachats and Waldport. We drove and found fresh seafood and cooked at the cabin which had everything we beeded stoced and ready to go. Can’t wait for next year. Bewch access is close

We loved our stay at this little cabin. The walk to the beach was nice and getting down to the beach was kind of tricky but nothing like climbing down a few boulders. The beach was nice and it was fun to find some agates. The bed was comfortable, firm but nice. There were plenty of blankets and pillows. The cabin it's self was clean and nice to just relax in and enjoy a show or two on the TV.

We loved this property, it was fully equipped and very close to the beach. The Wifi signal was reliable and fast. A short walk takes you to the stairs leading to the beach. (Of note that the stairs are a bit steep and you must navigate carefully over some large rocks so maybe not recommend for those with mobility issues or those requiring assistance) the beach is amazing! great for families and beach-combing. Close to Yachats and Waldport. We were traveling with two small dogs that loved the yard.

Cozy cabin, nice location.
Well equipped kitchen area with full sized fridge. Good idea to bring slippers, since shoes are not allowed inside.

Very cute place. It's small but quaint! It is extremely close to the beach. The comments about the climbing down the rocks to the beach are true; however, I'm not in the best shape (knees replaced) but I was able to do it! Overall it was a nice stay. Thank you for letting us stay in your home!

The house was extremely clean upon arrival and heated up quickly with the two cadet heaters. It was a cozy space that was perfect for two of us and our pooch. Furniture was comfortable and we were able to settle in for a movie at night. Appliances worked well and all basic utensils that we needed were there. Based on the description and reviews, I was prepared for the small shower (which is definitely small). The house is very close to the ocean, though there are some boulders to cross to get to the beach (also mentioned in the description and reviews). We were a little hesitant having the dog get over the rocks, so we ended up driving to Tillicum Beach Campground (less than a quarter mile away) and found that was a bit easier. There were still boulders, but they seemed more manageable. Note the park fee if you decide to go that route ($8 day pass). Overall would recommend and stay again. It was a great little spot to hang out for a few days while checking out the area.

There was no hot water after the first day, so no showers, and I had to heat up water on the stovetop to wash dishes. No reply to my message about it from vacasa. On a nine day trip, this was our most expensive lodging, so very disappointing. The house was super cute and cozy.

This little cabin is so cozy and ideal for 2-3 people. There was 4 adults and a dog and we made it work.
Beach access was relatively easy.
It was so quiet and peaceful.

Small, but very homey. The privacy and seclusion are worth every penny and then some. So dark and peaceful and you can hear the waves crashing. Great place.

Cozy little one bed cottage, clean nicely equipped with everything to make your stay comfortable. Nice backyard with chairs and safe area to roast those marshmallows!
There was one thing that was would be a reason why “we” would not come back maybe others would not see it as a problem but we would not use the shower because of the mildew, cobwebs, dirt in the VERY SMALL shower in a small bathroom
Otherwise we enjoyed our stay we always rent from vacasa because of the impeccable cleaning of the rentals
One thing that needs to be said this rental had a nice size tv and lots of stations!!

It is extremely well furnished. A perfect place.

This cabin was perfect! Everything that one would require or desire is there, & it was indeed spotless. It was quiet, peaceful and restful. Truth be known, I wish that I could purchase it. It’s that sweet. And the beach is only @ the end of a forested path & down the stairs. It poured rain, but just being there was heaven.
We also found a divine restaurant, “Drift Inn”, @ which we ate a # of times.
I cannot wait to return. For much longer.

We have found our cabin! Our stay was perfect. Place was spotless. A cool hobbit trail through the woods to the stairs leading down to the beach. Endless stretch of beach. Great location between Yachats and Waldport.

Wonderful spot walking distance to the sea. Cozy and clean this was perfect for our family of three. Kitchen is well stocked and we had everything we needed!

Enjoyed being so close to the beach and the fire pit in the back was a great bonus.

Cute cottage, adjacent to two other houses. Bed very soft for my taste. Wall heaters struggled to keep house warm. Back deck was nice...covered, with two Adirondak chairs and a picnic table. Nice back yard for the dog. Cheerfully decorated inside.

Great Costal Getaway
This cozy cabin is nestled between Yachats and Waldport. There are two properties next to it but it still feels private and the neighborhood is very quiet. It's also about a 1 minute walk to a tranquil stretch of beach. There's a nice back covered deck with chairs, a propane grill and a table. There's also a large backyard with a fire pit. The house is well stocked and had everything we needed to cook meals and entertain ourselves on rainy days. The area itself has lots to do with many quaint shops and outdoor trails. No complaints.

Cozy
This little cottage is EXTREMELY cozy. It’s quit and the beach is literally steps away. Yachats is 5 minutes away and New Port is about 30. It’s very clean and ABSOLUTELY a treat to stay at ❤️❤️❤️
