Easy Checkin Great location

The location was great. Spectacular views and short stroll to the beach. The convenience of being able to duck downstairs to the little shops worked well for all the extended family. Kids got ice blocks parents got alcohol, fish and chips everyone was happy.
The layout of the accommodation worked well for us and the huge verandah was a hit with all. Will definitely come again

For those needing accommodation in the area for weddings/events at Saltwater Fingal Bay - this location and host was perfect! Our daughter got ready for her wedding day from this apartment which had everything we needed, both at the location and in the nearby surrounds, for a stress free stay/ wedding preparation. Chris was a kind host who was willing to help us out with extra requests and questions when needed. Can’t thank enough!

Perfect for our family of 5 and close to the beach and grocery store! We loved our stay here. Lots of space and lovely view. Pool deck was also great for the kids.
Only area of improvement could be more in the way of basic household goods like more dishwasher liquid, foil, laundry powder, basic kitchen items like oil, pepper.
In all other ways, a great stay!

This was our 3rd summer in a row in this apartment and our family love staying here. The view of Fingal Bay from the spacious lcony is amazing. The apartment itself is modern, comfortable and very well equipped and perfectly located above cafes and a convenience store below. The pool is major drawcard as well. Fingal Bay is beautiful, calm and sleepy beachside but a very short drive (or bike ride) to Shoal Bay and Nelson Bay. We love this property and area - it has everything a family could want for a fun and relaxing summer holiday.

Very good property, very spacious with good facilities.
For older people the bed in the main bedroom was a bit low. Nothing to complain about. We had a very good time. The property is very well located with great views. Thank you. We are hoping to return.

Our family stayed in the property a second time after loving our previous stay. The apartment is spacious and modern with a view over Fingal Bay and only a 2 minute walk from the beach. The beach itself is perfect for families. With coffee, a convenience store and cafes downstairs and additional options a short, pleasant walk away further down the beach.

Good: Amazing view (arguably better than the photos), huge balcony, living & kitchen. The general store below is handy. The pool area is nice and the complex is clean.
Not good: Mostly fixtures/fittings issues. The internal exhaust fans in both bathrooms don't work (flooding the apartment with steam). The spa doesn't work. The BBQ half works (hot plate not grill). There are no ceiling fans (they do provide pedestal fans). The gas soft-close strut on everyone's front door (including this apartment) has gone.
Overall though this is a good value stay.

Great size apartment in a great location.
We had some minor issues with linen when arriving but Chris was great to deal with once we got in contact.
The only down side for us was the cleanliness of the property, the floors inside and out were quite dirty, tables and benches were very dusty, and dishes had been put away with food on them. If the cleaners could improve on this the apartment would be perfect.

Property was very good. Great location and views. However, balcony and internal floors were dirty. Couldn't sweep because broom handle wasn't attached and no dust pan in sight. Sheets were well used, need to be replaced. Bathrooms were clean.

Fabulous location. Great unit
We enjoyed the beautiful northerly outlook over the bay / ocean from this lovely unit. So close to beach and shops and a fantastic region to explore

A little disappointed
Arrived at the property with instructions for the car park. Remote said ‘use left button’, wasn’t the left button but the right after waiting 10 minutes trying to work it out.
The apartment was beautiful although we were quite disappointed when we had to put linen on all the beds. When we go on holidays, we don’t really expect to be making beds. There was also lighting in the kitchen/lounge room that did not work and also one of the down lights was hanging from the ceiling. There was a dead bird outside the pool fence all weekend. We contacted the property manager on Sunday morning as there was a heap of maggots in the car park. The car park was reasonably clean when we arrived. Every time we went past Unit 1 near the elevator, there was a terrible smell to the point where we avoided going past that area.
Pool was lovely but at times needs a pool scoop to clean. We would of scooped the mess out of the pool but there was no pool objects available.
Was a little disappointed in the stay.

No check in details sent prior until we messaged to follow up only to find we had to travel to realtor to pick up keys(assumed property had a lock box).
Check in was at 2. Cleaners finished up 2.30.

Beautiful apartment in perfect location
We stayed hear with our 3 kids (aged 6-14) and loved our stay. The apartment is spacious and modern with a clear ocean view. It's a block away from the beach making easy for us to come and go. The cafes and grocer below also made our stay more convenient. The gentler waters of Fingal Bay were perfect for our kids which definitely gave us as parents more time to relax. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location Disappointing Apartment
We were horrified when we arrived to find that the apartment had not been cleaned or serviced. Beds with old , used sheets and dirty, used towels on bathroom floor!! This during Covid is
unacceptable! After numerous unanswered phone calls we finally contacted the owner who arranged for a cleaner and new sheets and towels to be delivered and cleaning to be done. This was very inconvenient as we had a young baby who needed to be fed. We couldn’t unpack and settle in as we waited for the cleaner. We were supposed to have access at 2 pm but couldn’t get in until after 4.30pm. Also disappointing was the fact that we were only provided with one set of keys. We had 2 families staying in this 4 bedroom apartment and it made it impossible to come and go freely as we were always needing to make arrangements for access. This was very inconvenient especially as 2 sets of keys were promised.

Great view, very poorly equipped, indeed sub-standard facilities
This is a premium priced property with a great outlook, but the property is not equipped nor presented to reflect this premium price. Very basic and very tired. The rental should be re-invested in the property.

Can’t beat location
We’ve stayed here before and will stay again, very short walk to the beach plus the added convenience of having the shops below, also ample space for 2 families with the large verandah.

Big unit with well equipped kitchen. Great for families. Excellent location close to beach, cafe, walking path, bus and supermarket. Nice pool and outdoor areas. Only criticism would be that common areas seem to allow smoking, with no signage stating otherwise. Other guesses were smoking in adjacent balcony and in pool area.

Perfect Getaway
Absolute perfect location, unit was clean, spacious and very well equipped. Great communication from owner very helpful and accomodating. Stayed for a girls weekend and had a blast. Highly recommend this property.

Family get-a-way
Loved the location and amenities, disappointing with cleanliness of floor and lounge (found a cigarette butt in lounge creases). Overall we had a wonderful time with the family and would use this place again.
