Our stay here was great! They had everything we needed there to cook meals. It’s a small place, but clean and the neighborhood was quiet. Cute place!

Positives
Very clean upon arrival, very well laid out with comfortable furniture. Unique interior trim work of recycled barn siding. All necessary small appliances cleaned and in working order.
One thing to improve would be to place the microwave on the counter top. Too high on refrigerator.
I would recommend it !

Great stay for a close wedding, owner was very accommodating. Wine was great! Hope to make it our little spot for many trips!

First off, the setting and land is gorgeous! My wife and I have 8 children and we both work full time careers, our youngest child is 14 months! We needed a night together extremely bad, with our schedule of work and kid’s activities! We only get to cook dinner together then go to bed together pretty much every night so I was looking for a place that we could go to, and not have to drive anywhere else, secluded and quiet! Well this place is a gem!! Hands down! Not only is the area perfect, but on grounds ther are hikes beautiful, scenery a very nice hike to a pond/ creek! And the BEST PART IS they have a organic wine/ restaurant! In the historic barn! The wine was amazing, they only serve charcuterie boards and homemade pizza! Well it HIT THE SPOT! My wife and I have been to just about ever place within a 2 hr drive of Pittsburgh, looking for what we could cal “our spot” and we have decided we have found it! We will be returning!! if your looking to reconnect with anyone in your family you found it! Bring some food/ drinks and you will not need to go anywhere else just unplug and enjoy yourself! I would really like to thank the staff at the winery/ restaurant for the amazing experience! We look forward to returning in July for my wife’s birthday!!!

The bunkhouse was perfect! Beautiful, cozy, accommodating! Saturday went to the winery in the barn behind the bunkhouse, absolutely amazing! The venue was gorgeous and the wine was delicious. Janet the host was easy to reach and communicate with. Can not wait to stay again!

The cabin is in a very quiet, pretty, and peaceful location less than 15 minutes from seven springs. Overall the cabin worked great for a quiet ski weekend. Would definitely suggest bringing your own blankets and sheets, the house is drafty, there were few blankets and only sheets for the mattress itself.

This bunkhouse was just what we needed for one night. It's a well-planned little space comparable to a hotel room, but with a larger kitchen space. The quietness of the farm made for a good night's sleep. We were close enough to pop over to Falling Water the next morning before continuing our journey.

Came to find peace. It was quiet, perfect!

We loved the spot in rural southwest Pennsylvania, where we went to visit the Frank Lloyd Wright home, Falling Water

Lovely property and wonderful people (Rachel, nathan, nikki). Would love to return!

Both sofa-bed and futon very uncomfortable. Linens stained/dirty, worn and damaged which makes the extra charge for using the linens feel like a rip off. An outdoor seating area would be nice, or some kind of orientation to the farm to feel more welcome.

I stayed in the bunkhouse for three nights by myself (needed a break from work, husband and two crazy dogs) and had a wonderful time doing pretty much nothing but hiking, reading, eating and napping. The bunkhouse had everything I needed and was cozy and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the host responded pretty much immediately when I emailed her about the pond. (I couldn’t find it.) She called me and explained how to get there—a lovely hike through a field of wildflower (but with a mowed trail). The pond was a hidden gem. All in all, a very very peaceful time.

Campus was pretty, location is close to lots of things to do outdoors. Needs better cleaning. Floors had debris, toilet had haircuttings? Definitely needed a once over before guests arrived.

The cabin is clean and just as described. Just big enough for a family of 4 with 2 small kids for a quick trip. Plenty of space to roam and play. Close to other area attractions. Thanks for a nice last minute stay!

It was a nice stay. Central to what we wanted to do in the area, yet quiet enough to relax when we got back. We had one power outage, but it was minimal. Only about 20 min. We were able to cook our meals there without issues. (Fantastic!) Plenty of space for two people to unwind and relax from a busy life. The weather was ok (yes, out of our control 😉) Not too hot, not too cold. Only used the split system twice over our 3 night 4 days there. Once for AC one evening and once for heat on our last morning.
The property was awesome. W had a furry visitor one night.... Looked like a timber wolf mix. We saw two kitties running around as well. (Very cute!) Walked and found the pond with the help from Janet,(sorry about the call, couldn't get into my email from the power outage, I did save your number)
Being able to sit outside and have a fire (With chairs to boot! Thank you!!) made for a great option when one place we planned to go to was recently closed. (Google maps needs to play catch up. 😉)
Over all great spot!

This is a cute little property. With everything that you need. If you are into staying inside watching TV, or being on your devices, this place is not for you. We absolutely loved the inside of the bungalow and the surrounding property. Communication with the owner was fantastic. There were no issues. Emails that arrive prior to the visit along with the text. Message was phenomenal. The description of the property is as described. Sofa bed was comfortable although we did bring our own foam mattress just in case we needed it. This was a great find during a busy three day weekend and a little ski town. If you are looking for a place that will keep you warm and safe in the winter this place is for you. It’s outside the town. Very quiet property is beautiful. Sunset was beautiful. During this time of year which my visit was in February 2023 it was a big ski area. There are three big ski resorts. While we were not skiers, we were exploring the area to decide if we would come back for the hiking camping etc. It’s a great area for a great getaway close to Pittsburgh and other small towns

This little bunkhouse on a working farm was perfect for our weekend stay to get together with family who were gathering at Seven Springs. It was as advertised -- including the fact that you need to bring your own sheets and towels. (I'd also advise bringing an extra dish towel, as the one provided was not enough. You also need to bring a hair dryer). It's not a hotel, but we didn't want a hotel.
It has a full kitchen with small appliances, such as you might find in a studio apartment. All the kitchenware we needed was there for us to cook a couple of nice dinners. The coffeemaker is a drip model, and filters are supplied. For sleeping, you have a choice of a futon or a pullout sofa. We chose the futon because it was closer to the heater-- the pullout sofa probably has the better mattress, but we were fine and slept well. This was very convenient to Seven Springs, especially via Roaring Run and Tannery Roads. The internet was adequate -- good enough to pull in a Steelers game on my iPad via the Paramount Plus app (there is no TV in the bunkhouse). One initial glitch: When we arrived, the heater (mounted on the back interior wall) had accidentally been set to air conditioning rather than heat, and the assistant who helped us check in did not know how to reset it. We eventually figured out that it was the "mode" switch on the remote. Our first hour there was literally colder than it was outside on a snowy day, but once it warmed up we were quite snug. The lighting was very good. There were strong overhead lights and a couple of lamps. (One of a pair of twin lamps has a broken plug - which is easy to repair with a lamp kit). Overall, our stay was comfortale and relaxing. We would be happy to return.

Definitely stay again.

This is a very nice small cabin which offers easy access to much of the Laurel Highlands. It was a comfortable place from which to enjoy the autumn leaves.

The fall colors were in full display in the local area and provided a great backdrop for walking around the property. The property was clean and well maintained. The workers who I met were very friendly.

It is such a spacious property. We enjoyed walking in the fields, being shown the barn by the manager, discovering the hidden pond, observing the green house. It's really time away in the country. The bunkhouse is big enough for two to manage comfortably in it.

Cute little place to stay on a picturesque farm. The bunkhouse was just right for us. We enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds and highly recommend checking out the pond and hiking on the trails in the natural area next door. Everything was nicer than expected, we would definitely stay here again.

Tranquility and Comfort
The bunkhouse is such a cute little place to stay while experiencing all the outdoor activities in the Laurel Highlands. One night we came back from skiing late and noticed the stars.. Although the temps were around two degrees, it did not deter us from going back outside to stargaze.

Perfect option to stay near the ski resorts with my spouse and 8 year old. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and we didn't break the bank. We'll return for sure.
