Cocotal is a large, gated resort & residential community with 24-hour gated entrance and security. This is one of the premier locations in Bavaro, Punta Cana, and a favorite destination for families and golfers seeking a tropical retreat.
The resort offers several amenities, including a 27-hole inland golf course, golf practice facilities, a restaurant & sports bar located at the golf clubhouse, paddle tennis courts, a soccer field, large resort-style swimming pool, kids’ pool, sunloungers and Bali beds, lounge area, kids’ playground, and a mini market. Step outside to a spacious outdoor oasis featuring a furnished (covered) terrace, a sparkling swimming pool & Jacuzzi, and a generous pool deck adorned with sunbeds—perfect for indulging in lazy, sun-soaked days. NOTE: The pool and Jacuzzi are not heated.
The villa’s contemporary elegance with its minimalistic décor, and neutral-colored furniture complemented by colorful, Caribbean artwork, creates a comfortable and modern ambiance. The open floor plan seamlessly connects the kitchen, dining, and living- and TV areas, inviting you to feel right at home. On the 2nd floor, you’ll find another comfortable living area with access to the large balcony overlooking the pool and the golf course.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to whip up delicious meals during your stay. Alternatively, take the hassle out of cooking and treat yourself by hiring a private chef for the duration of your stay (food and beverages not included)!

Everybody who was assigned to this house to help us was fantastic, friendly! Danny the chef was amazing, Wanda his assistant was the best! David the house manager was attentive to all our needs and requests in a timely manner - Great work as a team!

The property was amazing. David and the staff were also incredible and showed us a hell of a time. Will definitely book again if I go out there. Only issue was the hot tub wasn't working properly but other than that, everything was incredible!

The accommodations were wonderful. Chef Danny is a must have. David was very attentive to our special requests. My words cannot express how Martina the house keeper took such great care of my family.

Overall this place is AMAZING. Get the chef for the whole time if you can, it was worth every penny and we never lifted a finger the whole time we were there. The maid is so sweet, she felt like a friend by the end. David is wonderful and wants to make sure you have a great time.
The title of this property listing is inaccurate however. The "Jacuzzi" doesn't work, and it's not that it's broken. It's just a cold, bubbling "Jacuzzi." Attempts to fix it were just getting the bubbles to work again, which we did not care about. The Jacuzzi is a big reason why we wanted to stay here, so it was disappointing that it was room temperature water. It's not a deal breaker at all, I just think it needs to be removed from the title of the property listing because it is very misleading.
Additionally, as some other comments have mentioned some of the bed counts are inaccurate. Every room has ONE bed. Once again, not a big deal for our group but it would be nice if it was listed correctly.
This house is IMMACULATE. Everything is so beautiful and clean, the golf course is gorgeous and the pool is very well maintained. David was amazing, he took care of us and really attended to our every need.
DO NOT go to Coco Bongo. The best part is we have some hilarious stories from that place, but it was so oversold it was a giant fire hazard (and super expensive and stinky). If you want to go to a cool club, check out Imagine. The eco reef tour was fantastic, but be mindful if you get seasick to bring some meds with you because it can be choppy. We got massages as well which was a huge treat.
Instead of opting for an alcoholic drink package, we brought our own alcohol from the states (or bought it in the airport in Punta Cana) and asked them to get us mixers, coffee, beer etc. from the grocery store which worked out really well.
Can't wait to go back, I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I could! It was hard to leave!

We gave this place a 4/5 stars because the experience was good. We love our cleaning lady Marina and our chef Danny cooked amazing meals! The place is in a safe neighborhood and very well maintained.
The downside was the the jacuzzi didn’t work, no heat at all. The shower in the master bedroom would leave a huge puddle of water outside the the hallway and bedroom floor. Then lastly David our host would come inside the house unannounced. We had a girls trip. So I woke up with a big T shirt on and underwear and went downstairs to grab a glass a water before the chef would come and he was already inside the house so I was startled, I had to go upstairs to put shorts on. Another time a friend fell asleep on the couch and that following morning he woke her up asking where was I so I can complete the invoice. David should knock on the door before entering or text us what time he’ll be there. Communication was a downside as well. Emails would take a couple of days to be responded and Dave also would leave me on read through WhatsApp I was asking about the invoice before arrival.
It’s the small things they can work on, and make the experience better but overall our stay was good.

The villa was absolutely beautiful and well-maintained. David, the villa manager, took such good care of us and was really responsive whenever we needed transportation/recommendations. Martina, the housekeeper, and Fibel, the chef, were absolutely wonderful as well. They prepared multiple meals for us each day which were so delicious. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Fun Birthday Trip with Friends
This property is beautiful! My friends and I had an amazing time staying here. The pictures on the listing showed two rooms with two twin size beds but all rooms had one queen or king bed so it was still fine. There were some bugs inside the house but not awful and was to be expected. David was very helpful but sometimes forgot to bring requested grocery items, otherwise he was great. He organized a fantastic chef and cakes for my birthday dinner! Internet didn’t work when we got there but it was fixed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Everything was amazing!! The property managers were so responsive and proactive in helping us plan everything, down the each detail. When we got on the ground, David and rhe villa staff were incredible. If I could go back, I would have done the chef for our entire stay! The villa was clean and beautiful. This villa looks exactly as it did online. My friends and I had a great time while we were here. Everyone was kind and ensured that we had all that we needed during our stay. This villa is on an expansive resort which may make it confusing for some taxis or ride services. I’d still recommend it.

Wonderful vacation at a great place
Our family with total 8 persons spent 14 days at Case Bonita. Good space with lots of bedrooms incl. own bathrooms make this house practical for many persons/families. Our villa manager, Mariana, made our staying in Punta Cana very pleasant. Without her suggestions and knowledge we wouldn't have found all the nice places to visit and restaurants to eat at. Mariana is an enthusiastic and service minded person who helps you with everything. Our suggestion is that you contact Mariana ahead of your vacation and plan your days. This also because Case Bonita is located a little too far walking to shops, restaurants, beaches etc. A trip to Saona Island and Macao beach is a must. We hired a chef at Cash Bonita one day and this is highly recommended. We got the best seafood ever with local lobster as the best. We like to make food back home and one suggestion is to fill the kitchen with more equipment and a new barbecue outside. Overall we had a lovely stay at Casa Bonita and would love to come back to Punta Cana some other time. Best regards Steinar

All together easy , relaxing, and an awesome time in the DR. The staff were great. The home is spacious and gives you privacy that resorts just cant offer. One of the best vacations I have ever had. Our property manager was accommodating and I along with my family would recommend this property over and over. Golf at Cocotal was a nice plus as well if you are golfer.

Superb!
What a great stay we had at Casa Bonita.
The house is huge and very comfortable, perfect for a large family or group of friends, with ample space to retreat and relax when quiet time is needed. It is in a lovely setting overlooking the golf course, ideal for keen golfers, and has a lovely pool to cool off for keen sunbathers!.
Anna did a marvellous job preparing breakfast for all and then made sure the whole house was clean and tidy, and still managed to keep a lovely smile on her face!.
There are lots of great restaurants to choose from nearby, our favourites were Jellyfish and Captain Cook,
The beaches are all beautiful with lovely fine white sand but those at Playa Blanca and Pearl Beach club are not to be missed, both with lovely restaurants for a great lunch and maybe a cocktail or two.............
Jose was very helpful organising bookings and taxis for us which meant that all we had to do was enjoy ourselves - perfect.
Deep sea fishing was a particular highlight, especially when we caught a sail fish, a beautiful 90lb specimen, which was photographed and admired before returning to the sea where it belongs.
We thoroughly recommend Casa Bonita for a relaxing holiday with access to activities, restaurants and lots of night life when you want it

Amazing villa, amazing staff
Beautiful home. The pictures are exactly what you get. We was in Casa Bonita and Villa Esmeralda for our annual golf trip. No one had complaints about anything.The villa manager Jose was helping us with all the requests (he now all the tips of the area). The maids Ana and Luchi was very helpful. I really cant say enough about how friendly and helpful every person involved with this house was. I feel like we had personal assistants and travel agents helping us the entire time. i would highly highly recommend this house to any renter.
The chef Roidin for this house are outstanding. I would do either of these services again.

Casa Bonita is Bonita
This home, with it's settings and staff made our trip an unforgettable one. There are many things to do in the Punta Cana area but the house was so amazing all I wanted to do is stay and relax. After all, that is what vacation is for. The entire experience was first class. From booking the services with Helena to the time we departed. Our house manager Jose is top notch and he pointed us in the right direction for all our activities. Our maid Netty was always there to help and kept the house in fine order throughout the trip. Our cook Eric always had a feast prepared for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We never had a meal away from the house the entire trip. All the grocery shopping was done for us, and if we needed anything else it was only a matter of making a simple request. That is what I call service.
We experienced many great activities outside of Casa Bonita, but the accommodations made the difference between a good trip and a great one. Great job and I'll be back!!

A Dominica Republic Gem :)
Let me start by saying this home is nothing short of amazing!! From the initial encounter with the management staff I was impressed. I received nothing less than excellent service; Anders and Rawnie assisted with initial booking and scheduling. After booking I spoke with Helena who is the person that schedules everything from grocery shopping, bartenders, in home spa treatments and anything else you can think of. She was a gem she made our preparation for our visit great. We had everything planned before we arrived. Helena set up a surprise birthday dinner at an amazing restaurant called Acqua Mare. Jose is the villa manager and he is a very great host from the time we arrived to the time of departure he was at our every call. He guided us on the best night clubs, safest areas, extra excursions. Nati is the housekeeper and she did an exemplary job of keeping the house clean, helping us find supermarkets and anything we needed. Sam was our bartender who greeted us with the best island rum punch ever upon our arrival. The home is in tip top shape! It was a group of seven people and the home was tailored to all of our needs. Linens, beds, showers, couches were all in the best condition. The home is completely stocked and equipped with anything you might need or want including a bar! We laid by the pool in the evening and had brunch in the open kitchen during the day! This was all of our first trip to the Dominican Republic and we were so pleased with our entire vacation. This home along with the service rendered is a must see! We are all ready planning our next trip to DR and we know for sure we will stay at CASA Bonita!

Home away from Home!!!
Casa Bonita delivered an unforgettable experience. Upon arrival we were greeted by Jose who was our villa manager for the week and was always there when we needed something. Natty (housekeeper) was amazing!! While we didn’t utilize her for many of her talents, she always kept our messes in order so we always came back to a very neat and tidy home. Did I say she did laundry….yes she does it all!!. The home is extremely clean and had plenty of space for our party of 8 with room to spare. The beds were extremely comfortable as well as the linens. Certainly felt like home away from home. The pool was absolutely perfect and provided us with a very tranquil setting to enjoy dinners on the patio with cool breezes overlooking the golf course. The location of the villa was very centrally located to many of the surrounding attractions and airport (20 minutes). Great beaches, restaurants and shopping were all very close to the villa.
If you enjoy golf, beaches and fun in the sun, then Casa Bonita is the place for you!

Beautiful vacation home! Gorgeous pool!
Our family of 6 - 2 adults and 4 kids ( ages 17,15,13& 9) stayed in the beautiful home. The house was modern,spacious ,clean and well appointed- luxury linens, plenty of towels and a well stocked kitchen. Jose the house manager was attentive and very helpful- from food shopping to booking daily excursions. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking a relaxing and fun vacation. We especially loved the Pearl Beach Club which was a short 15 minute drive. Additionally we enjoyed the segeway tour at the Punta Cana Resort and the Zipline at Scape Park. We can't wait to go back!!!
