Temple Place 1 & 2 is located in town and is a cozy space to stay while visiting the beautiful Uintah Basin. Whether you're traveling with a large family or as a lone wolf, here to visit the Vernal Temple or for an array of other different activities this is the place for you. Our property borders the gorgeous Vernal Temple, in fact it’s literally in our backyard, which provides a breathtaking view. We're also right next to Main Street, so you'll never be far from the action! Temple Place #2 is in the same parking lot as the Vernal Temple and shares an entrance with Smuin Dental and Chiropractor, but is a very quiet environment! We have a fully stocked kitchen with coffee maker. We have a full bathroom upstairs and a SMALL bathroom with a shower and toilet downstairs. No sink but we have hand sanitizer. ALL BEDROOMS AND MAIN BATHROOM ARE UPSTAIRS SO YOU WILL HAVE TO GO UP 2 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS! Bedroom 1-Queen bed with 40” Roku smart TV. Bedroom 2-full size bed with 32” smart TV. Bedroom 3- one bunk bed and one single twin bed. Fully fenced back yard and grill for your use! Steps away from the Vernal Utah Temple and the DUP (Daughters of Utah Pioneer) museum. Close to restaurants, grocery stores and coffee shops (within walking distance to some). Western Park, which is home to the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo, Uintah County Fair and many more festivities throughout the year is only 0.8 miles away. Let’s not forget the Utah Field House of Natural History State Park Museum which is what Vernal is known for, DINOSAURS!! We are approximately 15-20 miles away from the Dinosaur National Monument. One mile from the Vernal Baseball Complex. We have JB’s restaurant (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and Betty’s Cafe (which serves breakfast and lunch only, (by the way their breakfast is delicious) both within walking distance. Davis is a grocery store within walking distance. Main Street is one block away!! B’s gas station is just a couple blocks away. We’re pretty close to everything. Colored smart lights controlled by Alexa in living room. Entertainment for hours. Kids (and adults) love it. THIS IS A DUPLEX SO YOU MAY HEAR THE OTHER PEOPLE ON THE OTHER SIDE. Quiet hours are during the hours of 10PM-7AM, out of respect for the neighbors. Thank you so much!!

This is a beautiful place to stay right by the temple and in the middle of town. It is convenient to everything you want to see. The property is beautiful. The hosts are really easy to work with and it is just what it looks like in the listing.

I really couldn't of asked for an easier process. Communication was perfect and they were very responsive! Also, they were very accommodating for the check-in/check-out process. Would definitely rent from them again!

I literally don’t think I can do this property justice in this review, but I’ll try. This is without question, the cleanest place I have ever stayed. This includes hotels and other rental properties. I was so surprised that I started looking for dirt, dust, etc. I honestly didn’t find any. Every square inch of this property is spotless! Beautiful views, close proximity to everything in town, in fact we walked most places. Beds were comfortable, back yard was fully fenced and cared for. We visit Vernal at least a couple of times a year to visit family. This will be our go to. Every. Single. Time.

As paleontologists who visit Vernal for field work frequently in the non-winter months, we had an excellent stay at this property and found it to be clean, well setup, spacious, functional, and in a great location just minutes away from everything. Highly recommended.

This is a great spot for exploring Vernal and surrounding area, including dinosaur National monument, museums, and state parks. Homeowners were very responsive and the best hosts we've had! Also within walking distance of a grocery store.

We only stayed one night. Of all the places we stayed on our travels, this one was our least favorite, but was a nice place to stay.

We really appreciated staying on this apartment rather than slumming it in a hotel for a similar price. Parts of the place are a tiny bit dated, but very clean, and many parts have been renovated. The yard was a hit with the teens, and the play room a hit with the little kids.

This is the second time I have stayed at Adam's property, and I'll be back every time I need to travel to Vernal for work. it is convenient, quiet, always clean, equipped with everything you'd need; and you don't have to compete for parking.

Such a great space for several family members to meet up and stay for a wedding weekend ❤️. Outside patio provided a perfect view of the annual hot air balloon festival

We visit our family in Vernal often. We decided to try something different than the local hotels. This property was a pleasant surprise, very cozy very well equipped and very well thought out. We will most assuredly be booking this property again. The owner was easily accessible, as were the local eating establishments and grocery stores. Added to this was a pleasant surprise of a hot air balloon lifting off from just behind the property the morning of our departure, how cool!

Highlights:
-incredibly responsive hosts
-lots of space
-nice touches (extra TP, plenty of towels, stocked coffee bar, etc.)
-excellent TV options
-clean
-walking distance to groceries and restaurants and a block from the main strip.
Be aware:
-first floor bathroom is extremely tiny - just a toilet and a shower stall (no sink) and it’s really not functional if you’re over 6’ (or overweight, I would guess)
-second floor bathroom is somewhat dated (but functional!)
- house has air freshener plug ins (which some people love but make my family sneeze - we just removed them during our stay)

The property for us was an excellent value for the nightly cost. It is situated right in the heart of Vernal, which is where you want to stay if you are going to see Dinosaur National Monument and surrounding areas to explore in Northeast Utah.
It was extremely quiet around the rental. It came furnished with everything we needed (including extra towels and waters in the fridge).
Everything is well kept - has a home like feel to it. Not a luxury property but that’s not what we wanted or needed. Would definitely recommend as your base camp place to stay. Especially if you have little kids, the backyard is grass and completely fenced in. Is a nice plus if you are traveling with younger kids.

Great place to stay for temple activities
Great place for the family to stay for a wedding at the temple. Host was great and very accommodating. The only item I would point out is that it requires stairs to get to the bedrooms.

Great quiet spot. Easy walk to grocery n restaurants. Worked well for large group of 8. Nice fenced yard and cute condo. 90+ degrees out made it hard for a/c to keep up, a bit warm upstairs but just closed up windows during the day and used provided fans at night. Thank you for a great stay!

This place was great place to stay with our granddaughters. They loved the bunk beds and the wonderful toy closet. The backyard was large enough for the kids to run around. This home gave us plenty of room to spread out with the 3 adults and 2 kids. It was well equipped for cooking. The owner was easy to work with and checked in with us after our arrival to make sure everything was ok. If you visiting Dinosaur National Monument with young children I highly recommend this rental.

This was the ideal place for a quick, one-night trip from Salt Lake to see both the Dinosaur National Monument and the Utah State Field House Museum of Natural History. It was clean and convenient for our family of 7.

We found items such as a bassinet or diapers (we didn’t need) but just thoughtful. The toy room for my daughter was awesome. The comfort to watch a movie or chill is just like home. If I am ever in vernal again I will only stay here.

Unprepossessing exterior but everything we wanted or needed!! The space was immaculate and supplied all the amenities we needed. Adam, the host, was responsive and accommodating and all adults in the party agree that we would choose to stay here again should the need arise.

Adam and Amber have thought of everything for this cute family oriented home! Our boys were so excited to see toys in the toy room, yard games in the backyard, and board games for the family. It was a great feeling to come back to a nice home after a full day of exploring. We were also welcomed with a cute note and cookies upon our arrival. Very good at communicating and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Beds were soft and comfortable. Home is a smart home. Conveniently located just off their main street.
