About this house rental
***New Bathroom Remodel in Fall of 2024**
Come to Vacationland and enjoy a quite corner of Ogunquit at the Coole Breeze. This lovely home overlooks a beautiful, wild flower filled meadow. Sit on the patio or relax in the hammock and just let the breeze carry your worries away. It's just steps from mouth of Perkins Cove and just down end of the private way is the trolley stop that takes you to the downtown area, the main beach and nearby York. Walk down the private country road to the Marginal Way, the path that runs more than a mile along our rocky coastline with Perkins Cove on one end, the baby beach in the middle and Ogunquit Village on the other. Perkins Cove features all of the shops, fine restaurants, fishing boats and entertainment and are within walking distance. This is a great property for family vacation on private way just off the beaten path of the heartbeat of Ogunquit.
There are some very good golf courses (mini and regular) in the towns of York and Kennebunkport. The Town of York runs one trolley to Ogunquit and stops at the end or the road and can take you to York beach has the York's Animal kingdom and Amusement park.
For your Dining delights try Cove Cafe. Walk to the best breakfast in town . Try Barnacle Billy's for a traditional causal Maine Lobster Dinner and then take the kids down to the Candy Store. Or For a more formal evening try MC Perkins Cove with your S.O. ask for upstairs for the best view. Finally hit a night cap at the bar at That Place in Ogunquit and tell Rick we sent you.
We are on a private way, if you have a larger party of multiple families, there are other houses on cluster around the field also for rent. We have a loose affiliation, so feel free to inquire about that as well.

We enjoyed our time in Ogunquit and the location of this house was perfect - walking distance to all this sweet town has to offer. Very quiet and secluded. We saw a deer in the yard! The kitchen was well-equipped and modern and we enjoyed cooking and grilling on several nights during our stay, and we enjoyed the board games made available to us. It is an older home with all four bedrooms upstairs.

This house provides everything you need for a wonderfully relaxing vacation in Ogunquit. Easy walk to Perkins Cove and several restaurants. The walk into town takes a good 20 minutes, or you can pick up the trolled at the end of the street, less than a 5-minute walk to get there. The large living room and screened in front porch provide amply room for gathering. With 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths (not including the outdoor shower) there is plenty of space for everyone.

Lovely old home in a nice location. Lots of room for our family and an easy walk to everything. We appreciated the thoughtful little touches in the home and great communication from our host.

Second stay at Coole Breeze. This house is perfect for our extended family. The AC kept us cool during this very hot humid week. Water pressure is great. Really enjoyed the outdoor shower and firepit. Thanks!

It is the third summer our family has stayed at this house. It’s beautiful, clean, amazingly located and has everything we need. We highly recommend it! We were 4 adults and three children, and there was ample room for everyone.

This was a very clean house with a lot of charm. We had 6 adults and 2 kids, and we all had plenty of room. It is located right down the road (a short walk) from Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way cliff walk. We’d stay here again, thanks for the hospitality!

We all enjoyed the accommodations very much. The bathroom with claw tub a bit hard for short people!! Possibly add dish towels for kitchen or maybe we couldn’t locate them. Enjoyed doing a puzzle and playing games. Complimentary Prosecco was nice. Maybe supply some wood. We all lived the fire pit.

This house had a perfect location for 4 women traveling together. Easy access to the Marginal Way, Perkins Cove and downtown Ogunquit.
We could walk everywhere.
It is an older home but had a lot of charm.
Our one complaint was the cleanliness of the house. It needs a thorough cleaning.

This was our second stay at this property. It's a wonderful location and we had another great visit.

Cottage was perfect for our group of 8. Great new kitchen, large living room. Loved front screen porch and rockers. Huge washing machine. Home is older, charming. Beware pine pitch on Adirondack fire pit chairs. We booked a return stay.

Our family group of six, aged 20-70 had a great time at this home! A cozy place to stay in the middle of everything Ogunquit has to offer. A true “cottage” at the beach. Very easy to communicate with owner.

A lovely private property close enough to Perkins Cove, Ogunquit center, the Marginal Way and the beach. We walked and walked and loved every minute of it. We also walked over the pedestrian footbridge in the cove to the Ogunquit Museum of American Art - a very special place. Our stay was everything we hoped it would be.

This is our 2nd time staying there. We’re a family of 5 with young children. The house is clean and has all that we need. The location is amazing (walking distance to Perkins’ cove). The kitchen was renovated since our last stay 2 years ago, and now looks amazing and is very functional (we didn’t eat out the whole week, and had no problem cooking all our meals there). We will definitely stay here again in the future if it’s available!

This was our best stay yet! Everything we needed was at our fingertips, it was clean, centrally located and WAY better than I had expected. The host was just awesome when we called with a slight hiccup. I would love to go back and hopefully, we will.

The stay at this property was outstanding. Centrally located with plenty of room. The only drawback was the TV. It may have been the lack of our techno skills but we couldn't get ESPN or other stations that broadcast Saturday football games.

Very easy and Andrew was so accommodating and responsive, I had no worries or concerns at all.

We had a wonderful stay at Coole Breeze. The location was great - so close to Perkins Cove, Marginal Way and Ogunquit Beach. The house was perfect and accommodated our party of 6 women perfectly. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We spent our evenings in the yard enjoying the fire pit and good conversation. I highly recommend Andrew's place.

Great location with plenty to do for the kids and awesome restaurants nearby. The home was clean with an abundance of amenities. We loved roasting marshmallows on the firepit!

This is a lovely family vacation house They've found the perfect sweet spot between a traditional Maine camp and the modern conveniences that make things easy. The place is fully equipped. The only thing missing was marshmallow toasting forks. So that's pretty well equipped! The location is terrific and the porch is the BEST! That plus the fire ring and a hammock -- what else could anyone want?!!

Our group of six had a blast at the Coole Breeze. We spent a lot of time on the screen porch and loved the kitchen renovation! The AC mini splits worked great and the mattresses are fine. This is a quiet sanctuary with a retro vibe that’s a 5-minute walk to the Marginal Way. Communication with Andrew was great!

Fantastic place
We went to Ogunquit for a family vacation. We love the location of this house. So close to Perkins Cove, Marginal Way and downtown. The house was clean and was surprised of the updated kitchen which was wonderful. We utilized the grills and outdoor fire pit. Was a very quiet location. We had a fantastic time.

Wonderful Gem of a House
We had a really lovely stay In Oquinquit and this house played a big part in it. It is a 10 minute walk to Perkins Cove and Marginal way. It is close enough to the beach and pier. It was ideal for the early birds in the family and the teens who liked a later start to the beach. It was also great because the young people could have some independence, trekking out for ices or shopping.
The house itself is a gem. Nice rooms, hot running water, cool ac when you need it; a lovely new kitchen that would please any cook. The house and the garden is so thoughtfully put together. We enjoyed s’mores and grilled out one night. There are clothes pin to hang wet things. An outdoor shower. It was really idyllic and bliss and the owner was wonderfully receptive to a quick question. We had the best time !

Perfect house, perfect location
This house is perfect for family. A large porch, a fire pit with chairs all around, huge living room, large kitchen, 3 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms. It's in a very quiet neighborhood just steps away from Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way. We didn't have to drive anywhere. The owner is easy to communicate with and and very friendly. Our stay could not have been better!

Third time and it just keeps getting better!!
Location the best!! House is perfect for family,. My favorite spot, the porch for morning tea and listen to the birds and spot a couple of deer

Great Location!
The location of this property is the number one selling point! It was so convenient to walk to marginal way, perkins cove, downtown Ogunquit, and to the beach. It was great to have 4 bedrooms and the outside lawn, fire pit and hammock, especially with little kids. The house could definitely go for a deep cleaning, new mattresses or bed frames, and trying to put a baby down and get away with the creaky floor/stairs proved a bit difficult, but these are minor things for us. We absolutely loved our time in Ogunquit and at this house. Time spent with family in a beautiful town was just what was needed for this little vacation.

Wonderful week in Ogunquit
I loved our time here. Tucked away on a slight hill surrounded by trees and birds--the screened in porch was lovely and immersed in country-esque nature just a short walk from the ocean. The huge living room fit our whole family comfortably on 3 large couches. Most of the bedrooms were tight and the bathrooms could use updating, but that's not what we came to Ogunquit for anyway. Enjoyed having a camp fire. Would absolutely recommend.

Quaint and Quiet
Our family enjoyed almost everything about this property. Location is lovely and quiet- also walkable to Perkins cove, little beach, and lots of restaurants. Feels so far from hustle and bustle, but the Ogunquit activity is just a stroll away. The feel of the home is rustic, “cabiny” and cozy. It’s a truly unique property and the neighbors, who are life long Ogunquit residents, were lovely and incredibly helpful when we experienced an unexpected issue. The property owner was equally responsive and helpful.
Only hesitation with booking again- mattresses were worn and uncomfortable. The bunk bed seemed to be the most comfortable. Also would be nice if kitchen was stocked with a couple basics - foil or plastic wrap, olive oil, nothing but salt and pepper was included. Not a big issue at all, but it’s good to know if you need to purchase those items. Overall it was a fantastic experience :)

We really liked this place. It was advertised accurately. You're not going to get upgraded kitchen features or anything like that, but it's perfect for families with small kids. The outdoor shower is amazing. I did not take a single shower indoor all week - even in the cold temperatures and in the rain. The firepit and outdoor area is awesome. Tons of space to hang out and have a fire. The front screened in porch is also awesome, especially if you're trying to keep little ones close by. Everyone in the house commented on the water pressure was awesome and the water was HOT and stayed hot even with multiple showers taken one after another. We usually stay closer to downtown and have to walk far to Perkins Cove, but this location was really nice and right in the middle of downtown and the Cove. Owner was super responsive when we had issues with trash pick up. Neighbors, who are permanent residents next door were great and also very helpful. The area the house is in is one of a kind in Ogunquit. Nice fields with fruit trees. Someone staying in our house went out to his truck late at night and there was a deer in the driveway!Overall, we really loved this place!

Just a short walk to the Marginal Way and Ogunquit's many amazing shops and restaurants, Coole Breeze was the perfect spot for our family to relax and enjoy coastal Maine. The whole family enjoyed the firepit, multiple TVs and the fantastic screened-in porch. Can't wait to go back again!
