The property is in the perfect location at the edge of Plaka. Not in the busiest part but close enough and with lots of dining and sightseeing options nearby.
The accommodations are old but well kept and there is something neat about feeling like you are actually in Athens and not just a tourist centre.
The roof deck was not like the photos but good enough for a peekaboo Acropolis view in the early morning or late evening.
Overall we had a wonderful stay!

Great 2 story apartment close to everything you need for a stay in Athens! We had a group of 9 with kids ranging from 13 to 9. Plenty of space, charming decor, and very clean!

Our group of 12 stayed for a couple days to prepare for a cruise and this property was the perfect location for us. Near shops and restaurants but still on a quiet street. The rooftop was perfect for stargazing and has a great night time view of the Parthenon. The property managers were quick to respond and very patient with all my questions regarding transportation options from the airport, as well as to the port. This was a great start to our vacation and we will definitely recommend this property.

First, all the pre-booking and pre-stay communication with the hosts were great. We were staying only for two nights with a large party, and had several concerns/questions I wanted to be sure were addressed - and they responded promptly to everything.
The property location was perfect and easy to locate. Check in was easy. The instructions provided to turn on the hot water etc were clear. There are some stairs to get to the top 4 bedrooms, so If you have heavy luggage keep that in mind. The air conditioning was pretty good, considering the 100F heat. The washed/dryer combo worked good, but we had to air dry some of our clothes - I think that’s just how those units work. We had no issues doing 4-5 loads of laundry within 24 hours. Bed were comfy. However I agree with some of the other guests that some of the furniture and fixtures could be updated - however I was not bothered by that.
The view is great (albeit up some steep spiral staircase). The checkout process was easier than normal US properties I am used to.
Overall I would recommend this property!

We had a great stay for our short soujourn in Athens before heading to the islands. The location is awesome with its location next to Plaka and lots of amenities around it. Having a whole house for my family was perfect. Having a washer was a great convenience too. Would definitely pick this place to stay again.

Communication was top notch! Location beyond words! Everything walkable!
We could not have chosen anything better!
Wonderful stay!!

The property is well located and clean and the hosts are very responsive. The kitchen has everything you need if you wanted to prepare food. However, the beds are not comfortable, several of the bathrooms need repairs, the blankets on the beds are old, and the space generally feels a bit worn. In order to take a hot shower, you have to preheat the water for 20 minutes. You also cannot put any toilet paper into the toilets. None of this is mentioned in the listing. Also, the main staircase has a handrail for part of it, but not all of it. While the house has many beds and bedrooms, this space would not be suitable for small children or for older people or anyone with physical limitations. In addition, the rooftop is not at all as pictured. There was a table with a few cheap chairs and nothing else but some dead plants. As mentioned in other reviews, the access to the rooftop is VERY precarious. Overall, I would say this space is fine for a large group of young people or a couple of families with older kids, but could really do with some upgrades to justify the price.

Got compliments from my group on my choice of accommodations. Location is excellent. Highly recommend. 1st time in Greece. Definitely rather do this trip in winter than summer. Never cold to my standards (So Cal). Less crowds, but still a bustle of a city.

We were delighted from the moment we arrived. The location was right where we wanted to be. The house was wonderful, the host was great and everyone had ample space.

We were a family of 10 traveling together. The house was just as described and shown. It was in a fantastic location to access what we wanted to see by foot. No need for any taxis during our stay.

The location of this apartment was wonderful. It was large enoungh for our family of 11.

We were able to quickly get around main Athens, the ownership acted very quickly to an A/C that quit working and arranged for a nice shuttle from the airport!
We all said we would stay here again!

Location location location! Great communication with host, super helpful! We had a wonderful two nights spent in Athens. So close to the Acropolis and Museum. Great places to eat very close by. We loved that everyone had their own bedroom, with AC! Bathrooms are nice and updated. View of the Parthenon on the rooftop deck was amazing! If you stay here, you must visit the Alchemist Pastry shop on the corner! Amazing treasure close by! Thank you for a wonderful visit!

The house is as described and in a great location. We were able to walk all over within minutes. The property manager is easy to communicate with and was very helpful. One night upon our return to the house the front door lock was broken, he responded immediately and had a locksmith there within 15-20 min. Definitely would stay here again.

Unfortunately, our plans changed at the last minute so we didn’t end up staying in this beautiful spot, but communication was wonderful and we hope to come back another time!

Ample space for a family to spread out. Various bed sizes available, however twin mattresses were very firm. Everything else was as described. Convenient access to metro.

The pictures match the property. It was a lovely location and very centric. You're right behind the Acropolis Museuam and Acropolis. The Plaka and Monastiraki shopping area are about a 15 min walk. There's a stop for the hop on and off city bus right around the corner, alo g with many restaurants and grocery stores. Highly recommended Liondi for dinner if you stay here. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was phenomenal and fun. Stelios was a wonderful host, ensuring we had all the information we needed and not overbearing. They even arranged transportation for us to and from the airport. I would stay here again soley for it's centric location. You can walk everywhere from there. Also our group of 11 were very comfortable in the house.

Nice townhouse & location, but beware of management company...
This is a lovely townhouse close to all of the major sites, with an incredible rooftop patio!!!
Two things to be aware of:
1. There was major construction going on directly across the street. We woke to jackhammers at 7am our first morning. When asked, the property management company said construction can take place from 7a-3p and 5:30p-11p. This is the local ordinance and the company cannot control it. It appears to be a big job that will be ongoing.
2. The property management company is difficult to deal with. We booked our stay at the Acropolis heights property before it was rated, and about a week before check in we saw a negative review. The review noted the AC on the second floor was out, and the property management company was difficult to deal with.
I emailed the property management company right away to make sure the AC had been fixed and they assured me it had. I asked the person who checked us in if it had been fixed. His response was maintenance had been performed (even though he had not yet opened the upstairs), and the people who rented before us were, “difficult and just wanted money back on their rental.”
We quickly realized all of the AC units were working except one in an upstairs bedroom. I emailed the company multiple times and they kept telling me annual maintenance had just been performed so I must be mistaken the unit was not working. We had the door shut, window shutter, window and curtains closed, lights off and AC on turbo for several hours and the room was hotter than the hallway. The company made it seem as though we were lying to try to get a refund, when in fact we were just relaying information and asking for it to be fixed.
The property is amazing, but beware when dealing with JJ Hospitality.

We had several issues with the electricity going out . The a/c only works on lower floor and it was very hot upstairs making sleeping difficult. All mattresses were hard as rock and very uncomfortable! Great location to sites but not comfortable stay.
