Very comfortable, original and the owning family were very friendly and kind to me considering I got there late on.

The property is very different and original and a welcome addition in an area that is not blessed with good hotel options.

It was all good, parking a little challenging at night, however it is safe.

Le rôle de Booking. J’ai reçu un mail tres bizarre demandant un règlement en crypto monnaie alors que j’avais déjà payé, et mon frère a du payer 30€ de plus que moi pour exactement la même chambre, avec une explication sur un surclassement qui n’était pas vrai.

Really enjoyed our stay, great breakfast, highly recommended.

Very comfortable, great breakfast options. Friendly staff. Lovely area to be in. Nice bed and pillows.

The shower was too hot, couldn’t get it to go colder.

A family rum business that made you feel part of the family.

Breakfast was excellent with a choice of continental or full English. Set just outside town in the countryside very quiet and peaceful with great walking.

Quiet, quaint, value for money

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities in the room were good, apart from one aspect* Breakfast was generous and delicious - one of our party is Gluten Free and there was guidance on what to eat and enough options to not feel you were missing out.

*There was virtually no water pressure in the shower. Whilst the bedroom was clean, some of the communal areas could maybe have a little more attention.

What a little gem of a place! Beautiful surroundings, amazing staff, gorgeous room. Had a whale of a time in the spa bath. Will definitely be back .

Beautiful setting, very friendly family buisness, amazing breakfast.

Checking out was difficult, the young man seemed to have several tasks going at the same time, forgot about us.

Amazing

Beautiful hidden gem, staff so accommodating and attentive, we ordered a taxi but after a wait one of the staff took us! The room was stunning overlooking gorgeous gardens! The breakfast was lovely with good produce and freshly made with lots of choice! will definitely go back!

Nice location with friendly staff and good accommodation. Breakfast was really good as well and honesty bar was great with last drink of the night. Jacuzzi bath great

Only small gripe was one of the rooms didn't have a shower and there was no milk in one of the rooms (simple mistake on the milk).

OK hotel, but could improve a few things.

Food good at Dinner, very good at breakfast. Staff very friendly and very helpful. Hotel situated in a nice quiet location. Snooker room had character.

Car parking is limited. Hotel doesn't have 'kerb appeal' . Mattress was very basic, and too firm. Didn't like that they had access from restaurant to outside areas, too many people walking through when we were trying to have our meal.

A quirky hotel that caters for people on a break, not for people who are working

Lovely location. nice room, friendly staff

Shower was not good. Breakfast served after 9am-no good if your working. Dinner only available until 7pm.-no good if your working. Over priced for these facilities I’m afraid

First impression when driving up the drive and seeing the house was "Well, I didn't expect this!"

The host and staff are very welcoming, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, with a superb relaxed atmosphere. I enjoyed an evening meal, enjoyable tasty and more then enough, and very reasonably priced. I regularly travel to Middlesbrough, would I stay again, absolutely!!

A country house with great furniture and quirky style and a different experience for us!

Breakfast very good,Staff friendly

The road to the house is a track,weather ok when we visited but would not be good for vehicles in poor weather! No proper parking and no outside lighting! Door handle on front door came off in my hand. The bathroom bath jacuzzi had no instructions.The shower was hard to adjust to correct temperature.Would prefer mugs rather than cups in the room.
