Very nice, quiet place and so comfy. Big wooden terrace with nice view. A very good breakfast and a superb restaurant on the ground floor.
A little bad smell from bathroom sink and the door of the toilet did not closed, but nothing disturbing.

Location is good .
We got a different room compared to what was booked and the reason being renovation . It was a bit surprise . Parking is limited only .

Clean, cosy and comfy. Breakfast is included, beds are comfortable, bathroom is modern. A balcony and a clean mountain air is an additional bonus. An elevator to bring the luggage to the room is very helpful.
We only stayed overnight and didn’t expect anything special but we loved the room and can definetely recommend this hotel!
The only tiny detail - it would be cool to have a regulated shower hanger in the bathroom.

Location was excellent and reception personnel very helpful. Room was clean. Breakfast was basic but good for the price.
The room was very hot. It felt like the floor heating was on for some reason. Fortunately there was balcony door that we used to get cooler air to the room.

It was a bit hot in the room , as there is no a/c.

Room is excellent with the way beds are placed and cupboards, bathroom etc
For some reason all four of us in my family unable to connect to Wi-Fi, mentioned to front desk and entire stay not connected.

the room was cosy for me. the location was close to Eisriesenwelt in a quiet street and a quiet town.
the balcony was nice with a good view.
i like how they fitted 4 beds in the room. the kids beds were on an elevated level behind the double bed.
perhaps the worst breakfast i had in europe. no croissant. no scrambled eggs. the milk bucket on the coffee machine was unwelcoming.
the breakfast is definite not "Good" as described by booking.com
cleanliness was far from perfect.
the parking space of the hotel was full when we arrived and we had to park at our own risk in a public parking
the elevator can reach the ground floor, but the elevator is hidden behind an aluminum door. i carried my suitcase to the first floor.
the bathroom tile floor was old, or classic mosaic, or both.

The breakfast
Dirty and very smelly. Bed was partially broken, not possible to sleep well. Ground floor room that smell very bad of mould.

Breakfast was nice. Easy access to the room. The view was amazing.
There is no door in the bathroom… no door of the shower cabin as well. No shampoo, missing body towels. Couldn't believe it..

Location is the only plus. Beds were fair.
Door does not lock properly and the lock is pathetic. Entire room is too moist to walk. No dry dustbins in the bathroom or direct room except the kitchen area. Parking is too very limited at venue and nothing arranged by the host. Very Noisy room for a good sleep in Night until 12.30 pm. Breakfast was included but nothing except bread. No croissants even.

Receptionist was a very nice lady, that is the only positive from this hotel.
I will never sleep there again. It was very bad quality.

the room wasn't clean. also the kitchen didn't work and the door from the room was very hard to open and to close.

The room was excellent! We had 2 kids with us, and the bunk beds were safe and clean for them. Our king size bed for the adults was sooooooo comfortable! Spacious shower and clean bathroom. Was nice to have a kitchenette, although we didn’t use it much other than to put some things in the fridge, it was well equipped and all clean. The restaurant was delicious with a good amount of nice wines for dinner. Perfect for a mini date night after putting kids to bed as it is right in front of the room.
Our favorite part, the breakfast! Many choices for every taste, European breakfast w scrambled eggs and lots of cheese, spreads, cereals, etc and breads. Good coffee machine too!
Only downside, not their fault at all, just about the location. It is next to a church. The room was warm despite the 40s F night weather and with the window cracked open the church bells ringing had us waking up early in the morning! If you’re up at 5, maybe 6? Not sure what times the bells go crazy at, then it’s no big deal. but if I had small kiddos I’d be upset bc I know mine wouldn’t go back to sleep back then if they were woken up. Now they go back to sleep, so no biggie for me, but just as an FYI.
The town, it is super cute. Many beautiful store fronts and boutique shops of everything you can think of. This hotel is in front of the cutest toy store, my kids loved getting a few goodies from there. In the corner it has a little pizza vending machine my kids loved too!
We drove from Eagle’s nest and to St. Bartolomé lake area for the two days we spent there and only about a 30 min drive over each way. We also drove to Salzburg on a rainy day and also was a pretty short drive. Although staying in Salzburg is more convenient (central), I would say this place is more for your buck and it is so quaint and cute it might be worth the 1hr drive back and forth to places if you don’t mind amazing views of the alps and rolling hills all around you throughout the drive.
Church bells? If you know the times they’ll be ringing early in the morning it might be ok. It wasn’t horrible but w little ones might be an annoyance.
