If we had the opportunity, we would stay there again.

The house is very comfortable. It's like having your own apartment located in the best location in a town that we fell in love with, Tavira.

Because of the high ceiling and the location of the heaters, It took a little while to get the place warm. But it was winter time and at night the weather outside was cool and sometimes, cold.

Lovely way to spend a comfortable week in Tavira

The White & Grey House is clean and comfortable, well-furnished and well located. It’s close to restaurants (and very close to a nice pastelaria!), and an easy walk up to the old castle, down to the river, etc.

Finding things was a bit of a treasure hunt, along the lines of “Why, yes— there is an iron! I wonder why it was in that drawer?” —A minor fault compared to how nice the property is.

Not family friendly location

clean and updated

Poor location in terms of parking , accessibility, neighborhoods. No definite directions to get to the property. Loud music played all night long on the nearby streets with a neighbour across the road having dogs caged barking all night long. I would not recommend this location unless you are not driving and not traveling with a family and like quite and peaceful stay. No soaps, shower gel or shampoo provided. Plus you have to pick up the trash when you leave and walk like 400 meters to dump it in a public dumping place, not ideal when you have bags in your hands while traveling. Designed more for solo travelers as an alternative to a hostel

Tavira - Go There, You'll Love It!

Excellent location, top bakery very close, quiet at night. All the home comforts were available. Tavira is a stunning little town to explore with lovely restaurants, bars and activities - do the cycling tour. We also met some fascinating people here. We travelled quite extensively around the Algarve and we really loved Tavira.

Parking is an issue. There was quite a bit of building work going on during the day. Can't really open any windows on the ground floor as you're exposed to all of the passers by.

Perfect Location To Explore A Beautiful Town

We love Tavira and the White & Grey House is the perfect location for exploring all that the beautiful town has to offer.

The roof terrace was a bit of a disappointment but with beauty on your doorstep who needs a terrace. More comfortable pillows would have been a bonus.

Very comfortable and spacious house at a great location. Unloading of luggage at the door step. Free parking 5 mins walk away. Self check-in went smoothly, quick responses via WhatsApp.

in summary the house is ok but needs some decorative updates and maintenance to bring it back to its glory.

good value for money, central location, very helpful house manager.

lack of parking is a big problem as is trying to find the property, Google maps keeps sending you in wrong direction but that’s not the owners fault.

Good location in the heart of town

The house is tucked away in a central location and is very quiet. No disturbances at night. It has a roof terrace which catches the sun for some of the day. Facilities were good. Wifi was okay.

Due to it being a single storey property surrounded by higher buildings, the interior was a little on the dark side.

Nice house near city center

The house is located in a very quiet location nevertheless in 2 walking minutes you are in the city center. The house is well maintained and everything you need is available. In summer it gets quite hot but all bedrooms and living room have air-conditioning. You must use public parking space, what can be a little difficult to find in busy times, anyway, nearer or farther away you will always find a parking spot. Internet speed is quite acceptable for holidays where you only need to check news sites and maybe Netflix or similar. The 12 to 15 Mbit may be too short for work but that’s something that the host may not be able to improve due to the infrastructure availability. All in all, I find this house very pleasant and would recommend it to friends.

Air conditioning unit from master bedroom was too noisy. It needs maintenance or replacement.

Little gem in Tavira

Really well equipped , clean and stylish house. Tucked away , but really close to bars and restaurants and very quiet and so relaxing with no street noise. We loved everything about the house
