it’s a really nice and clean hotel with great facilities
the hotel is predominantly German so if you don’t speak German you might feel left out

The resort is beautiful and clean
Excellent restaurant
Delicious and varied food
Great place for solo travellers
Variety of the program: sports, entertainment, others
Loved the privacy of the beach area
Nice infinite pool and gardens
Quiet area near Santa Maria
Amazing beach
No toiletries nor mini bar in the room
Staff not always very discreet
Lots of German people and tendency for the staff to assume everyone is…

Great vegetarian food, classes on the beach, great cocktails
Wine was pretty undrinkable that was included but prosecco was OK, you could buy better wine if you wanted

I loved a lot about this resort! It had a chilled vibe but with a sporty edge. Accommodation was immaculate, food amazing and service and atmosphere great.
only thing that was disappointing was the spa just not quite the ambience you expect and was a little too clinical
not something that bothered me but this is predominantly a German and Dutch resort but for me this just added to the nice atmosphere

The resort is very clean — I’ve never seen such attention to cleanliness at any resort.
The food options were quite good — even for a veggie.
There were plenty of daybeds and loungers available so I never had to get up early to claim one.
The beach and water are beautiful and the perfect place to have a drink watching the sunset.
It was also a nice bonus to have free laundry facilities available on site.
The location was good as it’s an easy walk into Santa Maria on the sidewalk along the beach.
The only aspect that wasn’t satisfactory was the service at dinner. It was hit or miss. For example I was rarely offered a drink like other tables were. I suspect this is because I was there alone, but can’t be sure.

All inclusive board with exceptional food, very professional staff and well equipped and maintained club
nothing, but Sal island itself was somehow disappointing

The facility was very nice and clean, very well-equipped gym, access to several sauna and great beach bar! The food was delicious and very varied, every day you could find special dishes (also vegan/vegetarian). A wide range of sports different courses and every evening you can expect great entertainment!
The alcohol in the all inclusive package was not of good quality

We'd chosen this destination for a bit of winter sun without travelling for 11-12 hours. It's a short 15min drive from the airport (about 15 euros can fare). We'd chosen this hotel because it was all inclusive, adults only and had its own water sports centre. Everything positive you've read about this hotel in other reviews is spot on. The hotel is spotless. The rooms are of very generous size and very clean. The staff is very friendly. The food is AMAZING. When you think of all inclusive resorts, you think of quickly thrown together, average buffets. It is not the case at Robinson. The food was healthy, the options for dishes changed every day and every day you had options for dishes that were cooked in single portions just for you on top of the bulk cooked dishes. The quality of the food was incredible. There was new entertainment every night, including live music. The gym is a very generous size and the fitness classes were very good with very good instructors. If you're into watersports, you can try windsurfing for 1h to see if you like it for free and there's kitesurfing, paddle boarding and catamaran also available for you to try and learn. We'd happily stay again for a week of winter sun. Given all you get for what you pay for, it's incredibly good value for money.
The biggest thumbs down for us was that my other half got violently ill on our last day at the resort. We didn't go anywhere else for the duration of our stay, so it must've been from water (ie cocktails or raw vegetables washed in tap water). We'd have expected that there would be something in place to avoid travellers falling ill. That being said, the hotel staff were really good with helping me whilst I was running around like a headless chicken trying to sort what to do in this situation.
The TV channels are mostly all German, but that's honestly a minor point since you don't actually spend much time in your room!

The amenities were great, the staff were awesome the gardens were spectacular and well groomed, the hotel layout was pretty magical in all honesty. A very beautiful tranquil unique vibe the place has!
The food standards were very good I enjoyed every meal I had. well done 👌🏽
not much English Tv
7.0
Nice location, new pools, variety of food.
Towels available, large rooms, silence.
Wifi stable and fully functioning
It feels like a German colony: German food, German classes, only German TV with no streaming access. I asked for having the fitness class in English and they told me: it's better not.
They don't organize a lot of activities outside.

the staff was excellent, great time with you
