We had a great time overall. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Brian was great at communication and any questions we had he was quick to text back and answer. The only cons were the security guard at the gate was extremely rude when we were getting our parking pass, and then there was a mix up about which pool we could use and a strange woman, who we assume was from the units next to us, followed my kids back to our condo and proceeded to berate us for using that pool. Other than those things, we had a great time and would definitely stay again.

I can’t say enough good things about this host.
He called me the night before we were to arrive. The air unit had gone out and it was going to be a few days before it would be fixed. He offered us a full refund if we wanted to go somewhere else. We were looking so forward to staying at this location. We did opt to book a different unit. However I will definitely book this unit again and soon.

We stayed here with our 3 kids for a baseball tournament at the shipyard ballpark! It was about half hour from the condo which was easy to get to! The condo was semi-clean. We communicated that the back door didn’t lock at all, the closet doors hanging off, and the washer not working at all with the owner and he texted back fairly quick but we just kinda had to deal with these broken things they weren’t addressed for our stay. (The broken sliding back door made me nervous with kids.) Eventually we were able to get extra towels from the cleaning company after some trips to laundromat which is down the street. The location is amazing and right on the beach which was super convenient with kids. We would stay here again if everything was working! Thank you

We fell in love with not only the condo that is literally feet from the sand, but Isle of Palms itself. The Isle's vibe is laid back and the locals are very friendly and courteous. This was the perfect location for our first visit to the Charleston area. We used the condo as home base to discover and explore the whole area. The condo is clean, well appointed and Brian was very helpful and responsive answering what few questions we had. We think this is a wonderful place to stay and hope to return soon.

The Host, Brian, communicates well and is very responsive to questions! This property is as pictured and very clean. (Brian, your cleaning crew does a phenomenal job! This has to be one of the cleanest properties we have rented.) We will definitely stay here again. It gets high ratings from us across the board. There are views of the beach, which is just steps from this unit, right from the condo! And, it was wonderful to sit on the covered/screened deck to enjoy ocean breezes, and the sound of the surf.
This unit is well appointed and tastefully decorated, not cluttered, which lends itself to a serene environment. Not to be overlooked, the bed was very comfortable. We gave this property 5/5 stars!!
Hints:
1. This unit has a Kureig coffee maker (so bring/buy K-cups).
2. Huey's (the links club restaurant/bar) is just a VERY short stroll - literally - so a car isn't necessarily needed. Huey's is the nearest public dining option from the condo. 3. I noticed someone in another review mentioned the key code mechanism didn't work. It works just fine - just be sure to NOT turn what looks like a deadbolt above the inside door handle. There is a small sign above that, which is very faded, cautioning you to leave this alone and in the horizontal position. (There is a higher/obvious swing arm lock on the door for added security.)
4. There is no crockpot at the unit, so plan to bring your own if you want to use that.
5. Be camera ready! On this trip, I snapped photos of a dolphin just 20' from shore, during dawn/high tide. We saw deer meander across the road. And, the Pelican Shore Patrol regularly flies right by the condo. Don't forget to grab sunrise shots off the beach! These are all amazing photo opportunities, and really just a few among many.
6. Consider bringing binoculars. There is a LARGE and long sandbar which runs parallel to the beach, probably a football field away, and binoculars will bring that distant "second surf" into better view, to see some (sometimes very dramatic) crashing waves out there. The binoculars are also fun for birdwatching and ship viewing from the shore.

we stayed 6 nights at this property and loved it. The condo is very cozy and perfect for 2 people. Love being so close to the beach and pool, and we love going to downtown Charleston - this is only about a 20 min drive. my main complaint would be the tv access - most tv was thru diff apps or roku, which we are not familiar with. We had bad weather for 3-4 days and it would have been nice to just watch regular cable tv. We could not access NBC, CBS, FOX, etc...

Vacation started I little bumpy gaining access code to unit, but had a good time overall. Unit is small for any more than 2 adults with only one bath.

Beautiful condo! Great host!
We rented the this condo from Saturday to Saturday for vacation/a baseball tournament. The condo is well-maintained and clean. The hosts provide many amenities and the kitchen is well-equipped. The area is beautiful and an easy drive to almost anything. The host is responsive and very helpful. As an extra, he provides beach towels and just asks that you wash them as the cleaning service won't do so. There were also beach chairs and other items provided for going to the beach and pool. A few families stayed in the complex, so we utilized the pool for a team cookout.
The only complaint we have was that the pillows on the bedroom bed were very flat.
Overall, a great experience and wonderful condo and host!

Absolutely recommend!
This property is absolutely awesome. Very nice and very, very clean. It was a little confusing as to which condo we were actually staying in till we were arriving. We were on the outer parcel, bottom floor. As someone else stated the pool that you see out the back deck is for a different complex, but the pool associated with Port O' Call is a very short walk and very nice. Being on the bottom floor meant that we had neighbors above us, they were very heavy walkers and early morning risers. The beach made it easy to get past this. This was our first visit to Isle of Palms and we will definitely be back, and would stay in this condo again. Brian was our contact and provided plenty of information and was quick to respond by text to any questions that we had. As stated earlier it was our first visit and will not be our last.

Great getaway
We had the best time! The location was perfect! A short walk to the beach and the porch had an amazing view of the ocean to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. It is about a mile to the grand pavilion where you can get some ice cream! The condo had everything you needed for a beach vacation and the host was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

The owner was very prompt in responding and helpful. The pool outside the door doesn’t belong to the unit so the picture is a bit deceiving.

calm and peaceful vacation
We chose this property specifically for the extra daybed because we were visiting local family who wanted to spend an overnight with us "at the beach." It did not disappoint. The daybed folds out into two twins side by side, and the cleverly placed pocket doors allow you to close off the room so it is completely private. You can walk from the living area to the official bedroom through the screened in porch without disturbing any late sleepers. This was a real plus for us, as it gave us 2 bedrooms for the price of one. Be advised that the day bed is in the entryway of the unit, but it is otherwise completely private and very cozy. I read all the reviews from previous renters, and every review is accurate and true, both pros and cons. There are so many more pros than cons, and we had such a delightful, restful, calming vacation and hope to return to this unit in the future.

Wonderful family friendly location!
Pros:
Great location- Easy walk to the beach which was visible from the condo. No roads to cross and easy for our 13 and 5 year old to walk to and from when carrying all our beach stuff. Enjoyed many evening walks on the beach as well.
Beautiful views of ocean and nicely landscaped property from each window.
Clean, refreshing pool that is very close to the condo. Was never too crowded and my family met some other wonderful people here during our stay.
Located within the Wild Dunes community which was quiet and family friendly.
Well stocked and clean kitchen.
Beds and chairs/couches were comfortable and loved the beachy decor in the house.
Easy drive to Charleston for additional sightseeing.
Quite a few hooks located within the condo which was nice to be able to hang belongings, swimsuits, towels, etc.
WiFi worked well for us.
Cons:
One sliding glass door had a broken lock. Would have felt more comfortable being able to lock the condo when we left and also when my kids were sleeping, especially because this is a ground level condo.
Screened in porch was nice, but furniture could use some updating.
Overall, I would recommend and would stay again. We truly enjoyed our time at Port O’Call.

Nice little get-away
The property was very clean and well presented. There were some lights that didn’t work, some odd soft spots in the flooring, and the location was a bit farther from the resort entrance than anticipated, but it was a nice place to stay, and was very well decorated and cozy. The host was especially helpful and prompt in answering questions. And of course, you can’t beat that beach view!

Beach Getaway
Brian, the manager, was very quick to respond to questions. He allowed us to check in early when the cleaning crew finished and was very accommodating! The condo was very cute, we loved the small touches like laundry detergent and bathroom toiletries that were left for us. The condo was a little smaller than it looked online, but the proximity to the beach and the beach views made it more than worth it.
