Relaxing, friendly people, good atmosphere.

Chek in was very easy and the rooms was ready and very clean.The view and the friendly atmosphere was what my family enjoyed most for our weekend getaway. Enjoyed fishing, didn't get the big one, but the pier was very nice and relaxing , nice getaway.

Everything met my family expectations 👍

The beds where so comfy and the sheets were the softest I’ve ever slept on, and the place smells amazing when you walk into the room.

Front door came flying open in the middle of the night from a storm passing through, I don’t think it latches completely.

Location is great, the facilities are great, local pubs and food are great. We had business in Texas City and Galveston over several days and this spot was a welcome retreat.

We weren't sure of the amenities or compound rules on our first trip here. We'll be back againI'm quite sure.

Superb

A unique setting by the sea with great facilities. The sunsets were amazing, especially with the BBQ on and a glass of beer. For us it was a great location to visit Galveston and the Space Centre.

We will be going back!!

A very clean and well-kept property. Everything was in order and maintained well. The hosts came to see us and treated us well while we were there. The pier was awesome to fish off of. The house was very cosy.

It was the perfect place for wanting to be away from touristy areas to just enjoy a “windy day with the white clouds fly

It has a laid back, non-commercial atmosphere with places to sit and enjoy looking at the bay and relaxing.

You need a car to go off the property - no public transportation and limited ride share in the area as you are away from the main tourism areas.

well worth a visit for a few nights or longer if you want to fish on the pier. recommend going to Noah’s Ark for dinner

Took a trip female family trip and our stay was fantastic...so relaxing and beautiful..loved it..the saltwater gypsy was our room it had everything you could think of and so many extras you would never think of...the owners left no stone unturned ...i will definitely be returning

Clean, quaint, nostalgic hidden gem on bayfront, and good property management.

The Cottages were located in/near a residential area on the bayfront. This is a quaint little property that feels like a small community. The cottages are located on private property, and the owner's residence overlooks the property and one way entrance and exit. We felt comfortable on the grounds. Renee was a perfect hostess. The views of the bay and sunset are exceptional. We really appreciated that with a reasonable fee, we were able to bring our small dog with us. The community and accommodations are well kept, clean and a bit nostalgic. Loved the screened front porch doors with the cool October evening breeze blowing. Other guests were respectful of their neighbors and not loud or rowdy. I liked that the staff was walking the grounds to greet incoming guests and keep an eye on who was coming in. The designated parking in close proximity to your unit just added to the convenience. The grounds were clean and provided a nice view. The sizeable fishing pier and fish cleaning station were also noteworthy. All in all, Come Friday Cottages are a great place to consider if you are looking to stay near Kemah/San Leon. The Rodgers were friendly and helpful in squaring away our accommodations. I would definitely recommend Come Friday Cottages for a unique, non-corporate, home-like feel to your lodging needs. Loved it and will be back again any time we are visiting the area. This place is not just about accommodations, it is about the experience at Come Friday Cottages.

Not much. The cottages are a little older, so in our particular unit, we had to get a little creative with respect to plugging in blow dryers and curling iron. They had to be in separate areas due to little counter and shelf space in our bathroom, but it was doable and not a deal breaker in any way.
