We found this home to be exactly as described. It was large, nicely decorated, clean and well stocked. All the pots, pans and dinnerware you could possibly need, as well as towels and beach equipment. Our adult children and spouses were very pleased to have a queen size bed. The king master suite was quite lovely complete with the coffee bar and a welcome bottle of wine.
Another daughter and her family enjoyed their private basement space complete with a boy cave that had a large TV where they played their video games. They declared this the most fun house ever.
We held our Fourth of July barbecue, with several grills to choose from. Our nephew made us a delicious pizza in the wood burning pizza oven. We also had lots of fun with the games that were provided, croquet, cornhole, etc. There are two fire pits one for the adults to enjoy their conversation and cocktails And another wood-burning pit to toast marshmallows for s’mores which were provided by our hosts. The gardens are beautiful as well!
FYI if you are beachgoers you can buy a weekly parking pass for $50 for the Mashpee Town Beach. You need to do this at Mashpee Town Hall.

Started with check in process… owner was not responsive when we reached out for lockbox code. On the website it says we will be given the code for check in 3 days prior. No responses from the owners after serval messages sent for check in code and release form for kayak and bicycle usages

This was our 4th year booking this property for a golf weekend and just like the three years prior we had another great stay. The house is perfect for our group of 12 and we are already looking forward to coming back next year. The house and outdoor spaces provide for a great setting to come back to after a day out on the course.

We had 12 family members present and we had plenty of room to spread out. The backyard was fantastic for gathering all of us comfortably as was the kitchen and dining room. The only drawback is that the living rooms were all kind of small. The kitchen was well appointed. And the bedrooms were very comfortable.

First time siblings and spouses took a trip together. House was more than accomodating, had a fabulous time. Would recommend this home to any larger group!

Great location and property. The outside backyard is fanstatic for families. Plenty of room to sit and relax and large lawn area for games. Unfortunately we did not use the outdoor pizza oven but the gas grill was perfect. Plenty of room for everyone in the house with multiple bathrooms. The outdoor shower was used by most everyone. House is maintained well with plenty of kitchen appliances, plates and cups, etc.

I’ll start with the positives: The house and grounds are lovely and there were very ample supplies, especially barbecue equipment. The kitchen is well organized with dishes, cutlery, large pantry and equipment. The furniture and decor is nicely coordinated and stylish. The grounds are well kept and have plenty of patio space. However, there were some major problems. The “central” air conditioning was not working properly and management’s solution was to insert a small air conditioning unit in the dining room window. It remained there the entire week! It was noisy and did make some difference but still couldn’t keep the house comfortable.
More importantly, the bedroom next to master bedroom had no air conditioning at all, no duct work or even a room air conditioner. This room had no closet space and should not be counted as a bedroom. Unfortunately it was unbearably hot and provided a very uncomfortable stay for the couple trying to sleep there. They didn’t say anything to me until the last day, trying not to be complainers.
There is no room large enough to gather in as a group. We had 11 family members and there was only comfortable seating for 5 at the most in any given room except dining room. Family room is very small. The living room has one sofa and one chair. The whole downstairs is very chopped up with smaller rooms instead of having the open floor plan that you would expect in a house of that size and rental price. Photos don’t give a true perspective.

We had a great stay at Ben‘s property. We arrived on Thursday afternoon and Ben was still working on the property to get it ready for us.
The location was wonderful and the property was beautiful.

Great home for our group of 4 couples - plenty of space for the 8 of us. Location is close to Mashpee Commons, golf and restaurants. Cape Cod Winery is less than 10 minutes. House was fully stocked with everything you might need. Beds were very comfortable. Communication with Ben and Patricia was easy and timely.

We had a great time at our stay here. Ben was very communicative and it was an easy check in/check out process. The house was clean and beautiful and in a great neighborhood. It was about a 5 minute drive from Mashpee Commons. Would definitely love to come back.

Wonderful house for our big family vacation. We really enjoyed our stay. Pros: great back and front yard, quiet neighborhood, well stocked kitchen and grill set up, beautiful, big and comfortable home
Cons: ants in kitchen and MBR. Basement is set up with six beds but had a very strong musty smell and is two levels removed from other bedrooms which is difficult with small children. Beach gear was largely inaccessible in the garage

Ben and Pat were very nice to work with, always responded very quickly with any questions. Everything was so well stocked.

Great Cape home and location!
This home is beautiful and was perfect for our group which consisted of two large families. We loved everything about it, including the location. When booking, we were concerned that it was not on the water, but that truly didn't make a difference because the backyard setting is gorgeous, relaxing and activity friendly. We felt like we were on vacation every time we sat in the yard. We used the firepit and grill several times, had breakfast, dinner and late night talks by the firepit table on the back deck, played cornhole and other games in the backyard. The beach was a quick 10 minutes away. (South Cape State Park and Old Silver Beach (20 mins) were our favorites.) In addition, we visited a local winery, nearby grocery stores and restaurants, Martha's Vineyard, Falmouth and Plymouth Plantation. We rented boats and shopped at Mashpee Commons. All were easily accessible and during the week of July 4th which typically draws more crowds to the area.
The home owners were great with communication and addressed any concerns we had along the way. We thank you for providing a great vacation destination!

Great Way to Get Together
We rented this house for a weekend to celebrate my father-in-law's 60th birthday. Once we got to the house we were not disappointed. There were plenty of nice bedrooms, a large kitchen, multiple areas to hang out in (so people can get away in their own space, if needed) and a beautiful backyard. The primary bedroom and the bathroom were gorgeous and the backyard provided plenty of options for seating, playing or just hanging out. Close to Mashpee Commons, beaches and stores, this is a great find! Everyone had a wonderful time and the owners were quick to respond to any comments or issues we had. This was such an amazing stay and the requests to come back have already started! Highly recommend this if you are looking to enjoy some time with a large group (we had five families with kids ranging from 1-12 and fit pretty well)!

Taeger family reunion
Extremely well equipped, furnished and decorated house with well landscaped attractive yard. Plenty of room for all of us plus several options to enjoy personal quiet time. Overall, we loved the entire experience.
The only things we would have liked but couldn’t find were a tea kettle, a soup ladle and some Kleenex tissues - perhaps we didn’t search hard enough.
Suggestions to make the entire great experience even better would be for a more thorough review of facilities before new guests check in - only one of the six bicycles were fit to use (we had planned to enjoy some cycle rides but couldn’t); the master bedroom TV was not functional because cables were left disconnected and the Roku remote was missing; the garage was a complete mess making it difficult to find some of the sports equipment, get to the bikes and know where the recyclable cardboard was supposed to be put.
Smoke/fire alarm went off every time we used the stove and the noise sensor alarm had a life of its own (Pat advised us the turn it off)
We lost internet service but Pat was able to tell us how to find and reset the power switch. Since this was a known issue it might be good to include in the, very comprehensive, guest instruction book.
Just mentioned these few points to help you improve on an otherwise wonderful rental experience.
Thank you for making this home availability on VRBO.

Beautiful large home accommodated all of us. Wonderful deck and shaded back yard with amazing outdoor kitchen. Appreciated having towels and linens, beach towels, beach chairs , bikes all available for use. Only drawback for us is that we usually rent within walking distance to a beach and this home is in a residential neighborhood with several beaches within 10-15 min drive.

The property is beautiful--even better than pictured given the lovely gardens/flowers that bloomed throughout our 3 week stay. Plenty of space for our family of 16 (14 adults and 2 kids). The outside space/grills/pizza oven were great fun for all and the beach and fun activities were just minutes away. The owners are wonderful and so attentive to any requests/questions. We will definitely stay there again. Wonderful time!!

Verbal Abuse and Threats by Owner / Would Not Recommend
Upon returning home from vacation, I received 7+ VRBO messages from the owner stating that our family stole toilet paper, paper towels, bathrobes, and beach towels. This annual vacation was with my elderly parents and adult siblings / their families (all 40-years-old+). In addition to these accusations, the owner called me "trash" and said he was "filing a police report" multiple times if I did not send him $1,500 directly for the paper and bath products. I handled all wrongful accusations through VRBO only to find that he had not even submitted this issue to them directly.
Based on this owner-specific verbal abuse and idle threats, our family would recommend not staying at this property.
In addition, the home had poor air conditioning throughout (owner ignored my message on this); ant issues in kitchen and front entrance; a bees nest in the backyard tree (owner ignored my message on this); as well as a light fixture in one bedroom that went on and off all night despite us doing what the owner suggested to address this issue.

This house is beautifully decorated and well-equipped with high-end appliances and gear to handle a crowd of 16-18. Lots of space to spread out both inside and out. The Master BR was outstanding. The owners (Ben and Pat) were great to deal with and very helpful with suggestions for our stay. Lovely outdoor dining area, and a selection of wood-burning and propane stoves for grilling; small touches such as a wine cooler, a 2nd fridge in garage, and bikes and beach chairs for your gang were nice touches. Be aware that while there are nice walking trails in the neighborhood, you will need a car to get to any beaches or towns (though those are only a short 10-15 mins drive away). We went to South Cape State Beach a lot, though Menauhant Beach is also nice. If you like kayaking, Waquoit Bay and Washburn Island are a scenic paddle. One of the best VRBO rentals our family has ever had on the Cape.

This is a lovely home with everything you could ask for. The house has multiple areas; those who needed some computer time found a quite place to work, while the rest of the family was actively engaged in other parts of the house. The private yard is perfect for family activities.
The four bedrooms upstairs are well suited for couples, with the master suite being truly lovely.
The two bedrooms on the lower level are spacious enough for teens, but there was no storage space. On the positive side there was a good size family room with a large TV.
