About this house rental

This beautiful, two story, 3200 sf. house has five bedrooms and four bathrooms that sleeps eight adults and four kids. The bedrooms are large, with two master suites, two additional bedrooms, and a kids’ bunk room with two bunk beds. There are two laundry rooms, one on each level. There is ample space for kids to play and watch movies downstairs. The adults can enjoy themselves upstairs on the large deck overlooking the lake, cooking dinner in the spacious kitchen, or catching the latest Mariners or Seahawks game. The attached garage accommodates two cars, plus parking for up to two additional cars on the driveway. The gas grill on the deck is perfect for cooking a delicious meal, and the inside gas fireplace is just the thing for warming up after a winter skate on the seasonal ice rink or returning from a ski trip to Mission Ridge.

Our family has enjoyed Wapato Point for almost 40 years, and we haven't found another place that is more comfortable, or with as many amenities as Wapato Point. Experience the family friendly resort life at Wapato Point at Lake Chelan. Enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, gym, mini golf, playground, six tennis courts, basketball court, shuffleboard, horseshoes, volleyball, private beach, boat mooring, fishing and ice skating (winter only). Sign up for a yoga class, send the kids to the Kiosk for daily crafts, or take advantage of the onsite water-sport rentals (jet skis, boats, kayaks, paddle boats and more) before you grab lunch and ice cream at the beach-side grille.

Wapato Point is a pedestrian friendly resort. There are plenty of walking paths to get around, and all of the amenities are only a five-minute walk away. Or keep walking for just a few more minutes enjoy one of the restaurants in Manson for lunch or wine tasting. There is really no need for a car after you check in, you can even walk to the local grocery store for all the necessities you desire.

The house was very welcoming and comfortable for our family to sleep, share meals, visit and play games. The location and amenities were great and we could walk to most things we wanted to do. The surrounding water and hills were beautiful and provided us with lovely scenery views. Our entire family would happily vacation here again!

I vacationed at Lake Chelan this year with my family and my sister and her family. We totaled 9 adults and one toddler. The house at 119 Chelan View Drive was clean, well-stocked, able to sleep everyone and had several areas to gather for conversation, eating, television, and, of course, games!! We so enjoyed the local beach and our round of putt-putt golf. I highly recommend this property!

This is our 4th year in a row staying at this property. Our family loves it here at Wapato Poi t and this house accommodates our family easily and there is plenty of room for everyone. This house has everything you may need and there is a store nearby as well as a couple of coffee shops. Can’t wait to stay here again next year!

Excellent location, great place for a family with multiple levels, rooms, and bathrooms. The only complaints I have are that the windows have white, non-light blocking shades. Making them very bright, very early in the morning (before 5am), especially the primary. Also, the thermostat resets at 11:30 PM, so the primary bedroom becomes very warm throughout the night. With the light and the face that none of the windows open, it makes for a less than comfortable night sleep.

There were four couples in our group. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom, and there was still another bedroom that we didn’t even use. The house was immaculate and very well appointed. Plenty of room for all 8 of us to eat together and to just sit and talk. This house would also be ideal for large families, because there’s a bunk room and also another large family room downstairs. Plus there are plastic dishes and utensils just for kids. Everything was labeled well, including all of the light switches. It really couldn’t have been easier or more pleasant. We all loved it.

The house is well situated at the lake and comfortable. It is well supplied. We played games at the house, rented boats and skis. Swam in the lake and pools. Worked out in the gym. Took long hikes. Went bowing and to the casino. Went wine tasting and shopping. There is something there for every age.

Three generations of extended family enjoyed their stay at Driftwood Point. It was perfect for our needs. Great accommodations and space for family time at the house. Additional fun activities through Wapato Point resort - we used the indoor pool and played miniature golf. Conveniently located to Echo Valley Ski Area, Manson, and Lake Chelan area. We had such a wonderful experience at Driftwood point! The home was perfect for our family and extended family. This home is perfection. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our week at the lake. The weather didn’t always cooperate but we had just as much fun working on the numerous puzzles and playing games. The layout is perfect to allow everyone their own space but room to gather all together. Kitchen had everything we needed. The only thing I would change is a screen door on the bedroom door. Since the door is the only window you can open in the bedroom a screen would be helpful to keep out the tiny bugs. There were very few but we felt bad letting them in! All in all it was a perfect week for our family with big age gaps.

Our family, 6 adults and 5 children had a wonderful time at the house. Everyone kept saying how much they liked the house and how comfortable it was for our group. There were lots of places to spread out and the bunk room and downstairs family room were key! The adults could all visit upstairs while the kids (16-6) were downstairs. The kitchen is large and very well equipped . We cooked most meals as it was hard to take such a large group out. The pantry was also well stocked. It was very nice to be able to access the garage to store all our inflatables and toys at night. The walk to the beach is not very far. We brought a lot of toys but there were chairs, an umbrella, and some floats available as well as a few beach towels. It is a wonderful property and we would love to return when time permits!!!
