About this house rental

We finished our remodel June 2020. Check out our reviews. So far so good. It looks like it's almost unanimous (5 Stars)!

This is a great location and a good place to barbecue and relax... only 2 properties from the sand.

Sleeps 5 comfortably or 6 with 2 couples and 2 small kids.. You'll love the front deck with a little view of sand and water with 6 seater gas Fire-pit dining table and all-weather wicker couch.

2 bedrooms, 1 Cal King bed and one Queen beds, also a Queen sleeper in Sectional sofa (memory foam).

2 bathrooms; 1 full bath and an ensuite bath in the master bedroom.

All bedding, linens, and furniture are good quality. It is clean, disinfected, and decorated nicely with very comfortable beds and furniture. We offer a lot, including all the beach necessities; beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, beach umbrella, sand toys for kids, and beach cruiser bikes (sorry no small kids bikes). No need to pack much.

Parking for one car in garage. Free parking on the street. The garage will fit a big SUV but not lifted extended bed trucks.

The coin-operated laundry facilities are shared in the garage with an upstairs separate 1 bedroom unit. That's the only access they have to the house. They also have their own parking space and back entrance (their space is to the right of the garage). The tenant is very nice and keeps to himself so don't worry about your privacy. You probably won't even see him.

We have a card table and 4 folding chairs in case you want to play games at night inside or if you happen to be there when it's raining (hopefully you won't have rain but it happens just not too often).

Free WIFI and Direct TV with all the apps you can sign into with our own account.

Please only inquire if you are a small respectful group or family. This is not a party house! The homeowners next door will not tolerate loud music or drunken groups on the deck causing disturbances.

PET-FREE ZONE due to severe allergies. Including support animals.

My husband and I stayed for a week with our 2 adult daughters. There was plenty of room for all of us. The place was clean and check-in was easy. The house included everything we needed (bikes, beach, chairs, towels, etc.), plus a few household extras that have not been included in other houses we have rented (shampoo, body wash, hand soap). The location is great! It is very close to the beach and an easy walk or bike ride to shops and restaurants in Mission and Pacific Beach. We had great communication with the owner. Absolutely no complaints!

We had the best stay. When we arrived, we were thrilled to see the home. It was super clean and the proximity to the beach was unbelievable. A major plus for us to have access to a coin operated washer and dryer as well as garage. Susan is an absolute doll! I appreciate her open communication. We stayed for 7 nights and we would love to stay again in the future.

This is our second year using this place and it was just as memorable as the last. The host checking in on us to see how it was going. Host provides everything you need for the beach! Towels, chairs, umbrellas, buckets and shovels. Host also has bikes we used as well to head to the pier. It’s close to the market and Bellemont. You and your family will love this place!

We were a group of friends wishing to relax and be close to the beach - this property was perfect! Comfortable, clean, nicely decorated, had everything we needed to bring to the beach with us, and we were just steps from the sand. We had a great stay at the rental. The hosts were very helpful and answered all our questions before we arrived and checked in with us whilst we were there. My family and I stayed here mid Feb and couldn’t have been happier with the place. It’s exactly as pictured and very convenient to all the local attractions. Susan knew our flight had been delayed, which meant arriving in the middle of the night, and took it upon herself to turn on the outside lights and even left coffee pods and creamer to cover us the first morning. So thoughtful! Since we stayed a week, she also checked in a couple of times to make sure everything was going well. If we visit San Diego again, this will be my first choice.

I stayed here with two friends to celebrate a milestone birthday. The house was great with a well stocked kitchen and nice furniture and decore. The patio with fire pit and sofas with a partial ocean view was amazing. The owners have a lot available for use in the garage and we enjoyed a nice bike ride around the bay on the cruisers they provided. Communications with the owner were easy and they were responsive. Overall a great experience and I would definitely recommend.

My wife and I were looking for a relaxing place to decompress and relax during our trip to San Diego. If you're looking to do the same - look no further! The property is perfectly located adjacent to the beach and beach walk (can literally see the ocean when sitting on the porch) and the newly renovated inside was very welcoming after a long day in the sun. Our hosts were incredible, were easily reachable if needed, and provided everything we needed including beach chairs/umbrellas, kitchenware, and local recommendations. Truly an amazing property that helped us feel at home during our relaxing vacation. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay on Mission Beach.

This quaint beach house really had it all. It accommodated our family of 5 with young kids perfectly. Just steps from the quiet beautiful beach only a short walk to the busy Belmont area. Ocean-view from the deck for adults to enjoy when the kids needed rest. Short drive to all popular areas such as the beach, La Jolla, Sea World, etc. Susan was available for any questions during our stay, and was always helpful. We all had a great time!

This house is good for 2 couples or a family with 1 kid We had 3 kids and we were pretty cramped. The place was very clean however we only had 2 hand towels and 5 bath towels for our entire stay. I’m not sure if that was the norm or if there should have been more but when you have kids and are back and forth to the beach multiple showers are taken and well kids are just dirty even when they are clean so additional hand towels, bath towels and some wash clothes would have been nice. There also isn’t an actual closet in what I consider the master bedroom, the one with an en suite. Only a few hangers were provided and not being able to really fully unpack was frustrating. We had been traveling for a couple weeks so laundry duty was in order and I have actually never stayed at a vrbo that did not provide free washer and dryer use. To do a load was $2.75 and after trying a handful of places to try and get quarters we ended up with $5. We were told by the stores that we likely wouldn’t find a place that will sell you a whole roll of quarters so if you intend to do laundry while staying bring a roll with you. The kitchen was stocked with the basics which is always nice. The biggest highlight was the use of bikes. It was so nice to be able to jump on a bike (locks provided) and bike down the boardwalk. They didn’t have kids bikes but my youngest is 8 and lowering the seat all the way worked perfect so he could use an adult bike fine.
