The accommodations were perfect. Location to gondola and kids ski school amazing. The best part was being able to sit by the large windows drinking coffee watching the spectacle that is the gondola line in the morning.

We really enjoyed our stay at this penthouse condo with a view of the slopes. The only strange part of the stay was the completely unhelpful front desk staff in the building. We had trouble figuring out the parking gate and bike storage lockers and the front desk was of little help.

We had a great time at this condo. The location is great, right under the blackcomb single track and near Lost lake. Bike storage was good and secure. Roof top hot tub was cool... Look around no one else has a similar condo. Clean, had everything, easy fun vacation spot. Will consider again for sure.

Condo was as pictured- very much like a hotel as far as what was provided (linens, toiletries, etc). No personal artifacts, which was kind of nice but also meant no extra touches or flourishes! Fine for us as we are used to doing a grocery shop for our needs.
Check in was kind of a pain as we had to go to a different part of town and wait in line to check in (much like a hotel) when really all we got were codes (which could have been emailed). We did also get a parking pass, but I feel like that could have been left for us at the building, as there was also a staffed front desk there.
Also, the codes were a bit ridiculous in length AND they didn’t give us an elevator code.
But all the staff were very nice and kind and easy to communicate with. Just kind of silly policies.
The unit was very large and lovely and we felt very comfortable. The area is great and has access to Upper Village, which seems smaller than the main area but had lots of kid activities. Main area was a short drive or walk via trails.

What a treat to have all this space close to where our conference was. I have stayed at Le Chamois quite a few times over the years and have always enjoyed the rooms of various sizes but enjoy the larger suites the most. Having our own private roof top deck and hot tub was nice too. I`ll book here again.

My family had a wonderful time in the condo. The patio off the kitchen was perfect for morning coffee . After our day hiking the hot tub was a blessing at the end. We even watched a movie one night in the living room .Its in a great spot walking distance to everything. I hope to return to whistler next summer and would like to rent it again if it is available. We loved the time there .

Wonderful unit, very well appointed! Fabulous layout and floorplan for a family with the bedrooms separate from the great room so as to not disturb sleeping baby (or others!). The deck has a beautiful view of the BlackComb square and gondola and you are literally steps from everything. We will absolutely return and stay here again.

Luxury Whistler getaway
This condo was huge, well outfitted, and well designed. Four adults and two kids had a great stay here. The hot tub on the balcony with views of blackcomb and surrounding mountains was fantastic. Convenient and quiet location in the upper village, we immensely enjoyed this property for our summer mountain biking trip. Would love to return in the winter!

Lovely condo, great location, not great management
The location of this property could not be better; literally steps to the lift. (To be clear it is NOT a ski in/ski out property. You do have to walk to the lift but that is super easy.)
The condo itself is nicely appointed.
Our checkin process however was below par. You cannot checkin at the property. You have to drive into town. Then the people in town failed to provide us with the code needed to access the parking garage, the after hours entry to the building or the mandatory storage area for skis. That made it impossible to pull into the parking garage when we arrived to unload. There is a front desk with an attendant but she refused to help us since this unit is not managed by her company.
Ultimately we did get the code, but that made our arrival after a long day of travel a hassle.
Also, for an expensive unit, it is our experience that the rental is equipped with at least a couple of days of coffee. In fact, often at higher priced rentals like this one, we usually arrive to a welcome basket with treats, wine, etc. This one did t even have coffee for the first morning.
I left two bags of freshly ground coffee for the next renter.

Excellent location, property management very prompt in messaging, accommodating requests and providing amenities. Excellent location, much better place to stay than lower village for sleeping but short few minutes walk to lower village with all it’s restaurants and activities. Spacious and clean, great for a family vacation.

Comfortable, Convenient Whistler ski/ski out
We just arrived home after 9 days of staying in this unit with our two teenage sons (17yrs, 15yrs) plus a friend of my husbands and we had an incredible time! We have been coming to Whistler for the past 7 years to ski for spring break and normally stay in Creekside but decided to change it up this year. This unit accommodated us all perfectly! Check in was easy at Deer Lodge. Nice to have a covered parking space. Beds/sheets were very comfortable. All rooms had fans, which we didn't need, but used as a sound machine at night. Tv was easy to use, and stream shows etc. Some reviews stated poor or no internet in the master, but we didn't have any issues unless in the bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked. There were some lights out but I'm sure Rob, the owner, would have come replaced bulbs if asked. The hot tub was out of this world, and we used it daily!!! There was only one day that we went down to the public pool/hot tub and there were a ton of people there, so we were thankful to have our own. The unit itself is ginormous and you can tell by the La Chamois floor plan that it's the biggest unit in the building, plus having a private balcony to watch all the action coming down the mountain was a huge plus. Also, there were plenty of excellent restaurants right outside the door- RMU (excellent après food and cocktails), Handlebar (best pizza ever), Portobello (wonderful grab and go), Milestones and the little market (for simple kitchen items). There is also a beautiful walkway to the main village (5 min) over streams and covered bridges that we walked daily and would have been an easy walk with skis if you prefer to access the Whistler side of the mountain quickly. Boys loved walking to the main village for Mongolie Grill, Cows (ice cream) and Showcase for the only Burton snowboard rental in Whistler. The ski in/ski out location couldn't have been easier, as we skied or downloaded to the base daily and turned skis into Spicy Sports (nice gear, best rental prices in Whistler) on the plaza level of our building. We didn't use the huge available ski storage the unit offered because it was easier to hand off to Spicy Sports at the end of the day. Very easy to access both Blackcomb and Whistler Mountain from here and we skied every area including the glacier during our stay. Rob the owner was very sweet and accommodating! Very quick to respond to requests and you can tell he enjoys what he does. We will be back for sure!! Highly recommend A+++

American Thanksgiving in Whistler
We had a great time, unbelievable location. Huge accommodation. Hot tub was great. WiFi does not work in master bedroom, bit frustrating. Additionally the lobby front door locks at midnight, our code did not work and the hotel manager did not let us in ‘because he does not look after the unit’ (thankfully we had someone in the room to come downstairs to let us in - I don’t know what we would have done if not…)
Other than that. Great stay.

Summer Whistler Get-away
This unit was perfect for our family. It was as advertised. The location is perfect. The layout of the unit is conducive to families and kids. The hard floors are slippery but we were careful and had no issues with the kids. We loved every minute of the stay.
The kitchen is well appointed for a rental unit.
Any issues we had during our stay were quickly resolved.
The only blemish is the hot tub. It was lovely to have our own, but the motor bearings are damaged and thus very noisy. We couldn't use the jets. The property management team was informed and hopefully will have maintenance done in the near future!

Great Location But Some Issues
The location and views are unbeatable. It's great to be able to have direct access to Blackcomb village with its restaurants and bars. The private hot tub and barbeque with the view of the mountains were fantastic. However, there are a few things that need attention. One has to check in in Whistler so it is quite a difficult task if you don't have a vehicle. We did so it wasn't too bad but one of us had to stay behind at the hotel to look after the luggage while one person went down to check in, a 10+ min walk. The description says Penthouse but I don't think the entire unit is a Penthouse because I was woken up a couple of mornings by people walking around upstairs. Another issue was the wifi. My husband had planned to do some work in the master bedroom, which was equipped with a desk, but the wifi there was non-existent so he had to set up his laptop and work station in the dining room area, which wasn't ideal. The bathrooms and kitchen need updating and living room decor was sparse. For the high price that we paid, we were expecting more but with the limited travel that we've had over the last year and a half dealing with covid, we were just happy to have a vacation, no matter the cost. Unfortunately, I don't think we would stay here again.

Our new default place to stay in Whistler/Blackcomb
We're a family of four so this place is excessive when it's just us, but throw in a pair of grandparents and it's perfect. We usually stay in one of the many two-bedroom condos in the area, and this property is a significant step up. The lift-side location, scenic hot tub, and large TV are unbeatable, and we loved how there are views out three sides of the unit so you can watch the lighting nuances as the day progresses. The common areas are a bit dated, and we would have appreciated a little better explanation of the parking (in particular, if you have a second car, for guests there is a $10 discount off the posted $35 daily charge), but that was trivial compared to our overall enjoyment of the stay. The shared pool/hot tub and exercise room are a nice perk, and the grandparents enjoyed the spacious master bedroom and general accessibility.
