Our family group had a great vacation on Kyle’s property. The weather could have been better but did not deter us from using the kayaks, paddle board, and large dock (for fishing)! Inside there were many games for the kids and plenty of room to spread out. Thank you for sharing your home and the great communication leading up to our stay.

We needed a place to stay prior to the Pan-Mass ride. Kyle was immediately responsive, very helpful, and accommodating in meeting our needs. This home is lovely, up to date, quite comfortable, and has a beautiful view. It has everything you need for a fun vacation. Kyle is an outstanding host.

The property was beautiful. Even more than the pics. Had everything we needed and more. We were attending a wedding in Sturbridge which was a 5 minute drive way. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you again.

Overall, we were happy with our stay at the lake house. It was perfect for what we needed. The house was also much bigger than expected with a beautiful view. We would probably stay here again in the future.

My family loves this property so much we chose to stay here for our summer vacation for a second year in a row. We had a fabulous time again. Everything in the house was perfect and Kyle is a great host. We also love the area in general. When you're at the lake it feels like you're away from it all yet stores, restaurants and everything you need is less than 10 minutes from the house. We've stayed at several different properties on this site over the years for our annual summer lake trip and this house is by far the best. Can't wait to stay again!

We spent two weeks at the house which was directly on the lake. The floats, paddle boat, kayaks, paddle board (& paddle boards we brought) all got out to good use. There was some boat traffic but that was mostly in the weekend, otherwise the lake was refreshing and calm.
The house had plenty of sleeping spaces and a nice porch to sit on during the morning and evenings. The big dining room table allowed a bunch of us to play all our favorite board games and do puzzles.
Kyle was extremely responsive to any issues We had. Some pots and pans were some what beat up and two days later a new set arrived! Also, an overhead light switch was broken and the lighting poor where we were doing puzzles/games. We had a new floor lamp that same day.
Everything you need is within a few miles. Wicked Licks has THE BEST ice cream and we went there every night except M and T because they were closed 😡. There are numerous restaurants but we managed to eat in most nights.

A great house in a prime location. The actual house is bigger than portrayed in pictures and was very well equipped with everything needed and then some. The home owner was extremely responsive and pleasant. Overall, I couldn't have asked for more.

We had a wonderful week at Cedar Lake at Kyle’s home. The house has everything you could need for a great family trip. Plenty of linens and towels so you can leave yours at home. There are life vests of EVERY SIZE! We enjoyed the house, 4 adults and 4 kids. The bottom floor was perfect for the kids to bunk in and make their own, while the adults enjoyed the upper floors. This house is located right off the highway and close to grocery stores and Walmart. I recommend placing an order and picking up so there is more time for lake fun!
The kids and adults enjoyed jumping off the raft, using the kayaks and paddling around on the paddle board. The bottom of the lake is a bit rocky so water shoes are helpful. When we weren’t in the water we explored Southwick’s zoo, Old Sturbridge Village, Six Flags, and Escape the Pike escape room.
Kyle was a great communicator and took care of any small issues we had. (Nothing big, just a trash pick up mix up). You can tell they take wonderful care of their vacation home.
It was a memorable weekand we hope to come back!
Sincerely,
Harriman and Ryan Families

We had a wonderful vacation staying at this house. Kyle thought of absolutely everything and then some. The house was spotless and there were plenty of linens, towels and blankets. I've rented several lake houses on this site and this house was but far the most organized. We loved the layout with the large basement for the kids area. We had 5 kids and the bunk beds and TV / couch area was perfect for them. There was also plenty of kayaks for everyone to use. The kids loved jumping off the dock while the adults relaxed floating on tubes in the lake. The only thing I would caution is it did get buggy at night if you were on the open porch downstairs but even then there was plenty of bug spray, coils, anti mosquito wipes, bracelets and anything else you could think of. I would love to stay here again for our family vacation.

Perfect water for swimming and boating, and a house with character and space for a large group! Our teens enjoyed having the bunk beds in the basement (which opens to the lake) and the adults enjoyed the three attractive bedrooms. A minor issue was that we never did find the switch for the garbage disposal (Kyle, you might need to draw a big red arrow - we looked everywhere!). We loved all the boats.
The lake stays shallow for a good ways, making it good for young kids and weak swimmers. Water shoes or flip-flops are useful as the lake bottom is stony.
A plus is that a half-mile walk (no sidewalks) gets you to the Opacum woods, which has about 6 miles of pretty and shaded looping forest trails alive with birdsong and beaver dams.. We went there every day. Every other activity requires getting in the car.

We had such a wonderful week at Kyle's home on Cedar Lake. The house was perfect for our family gathering: a big open kitchen and living/dining room; great screened in porch to sit and look out over the lake; super comfortable bedrooms; a great backyard with dock and bbq grill; plenty of parking; central A/C for those hot humid days; lots of beach towels and a washer/dryer. We really could not have asked for a better place to be for a week. And the kayaks! We did so much paddling around and swimming in the lake. Super grateful to Kyle for this wonderful place.

Big house, great location, tons of space
Had a great time at Kyle's place for new years eve - the space is large with plenty of bedding, everything was clean, and Kyle was very responsive to any questions I had. Highly recommended for groups!

Great location
Even in the winter the lake was beautiful. It’s location was perfect for what we were looking for, right off the highway and close to restaurants & grocery stores. Kyle was easy to get ahold of and very accommodating. We enjoyed our visit very much and would stay again :)

Beautiful lakefront property
We loved this house, and Kyle was such an excellent host. He was so kind and responsive to any questions we had. We really appreciated the check in and lock system - not having to have a key was so helpful. The fully equipped kitchen was great for cooking and we loved the gorgeous Lake views. We hope to be able to enjoy this house again soon!

Great location and amenities
We (our family of 5) stayed at Cedar lake with my sister in law and her family (4). There were plenty of beds for all the kids to stay together! There were tons of life jackets, and the kids loved using the small Kayaks independently! We explored some local breweries and old Sturbridge village. The kitchen had everything we needed which is rare with home rentals. This house was a great find!

Fabulous Family Fun
The property is fabulous! During the day we had several grandchildren visit along with my 80+ year old parents. There is an area for the younger ones to play - we brought a portable sandbox. The kids loved fishing from the dock and swimming to the raft. The lake is actually very quiet. There are boogie boards, floats, kayaks and paddle board to use. Even fishing rods - caught bass with bread balls!!!! We loved it and will return. The living space is terrific and very comfortable. We appreciated our time together there!! Lisa and Bob

Perfect place to rent
We thoroughly enjoyed the house. The fishing was great and the ability to use the paddle boat, kayak and water tubes was an added plus. The rooms were big and the beds very comfortable. All the supplies you could need were available. Thanks for a great stay. Cathy

Lovely home
We had a lovely stay at Kyle's waterfront home in Sturbridge. We had plenty of kayaks, a paddleboard, and a paddleboat to use which was great and spent a lot of time jumping off the swimming dock in the water. The water was great with few weeds. so very swmmable. Many Sunfish were caught as well, with and without live bait. We had plenty of space for 6 in our immediate family and another family of 4 joined us as well for a few nights. The sunroom overlooking the water was a popular spot for everyone to visit and play games. Kyle was great to work with and we would stay here again if in the area.
