Lovely home and room. Fairly close to the town for walking.

An absolutely beautiful house to stay in a fantastic location with an awesome breakfast

An extremely beautiful period house impeccably maintained inside and out with many beautiful original features. Joe & Christopher have furnished & decorated it to the very highest level- wonderful.?

We only booked for one night !

Wonderful home and host.

Great breakfast, lovely host, wonderful bathroom. Great to have a fridge and access to ice. Beautiful room.

Some issues with water temperatures but it is an older home so that is to be expected.

Beautiful home with wrap around porch, step into history

Beautiful home with elegant finishes and wonderful full breakfast. We stayed in the Dragonfly king suite with a large bathroom including step-in shower (not visible in photo), great amenities, friendly host.

Excellent bed and breakfast close to downtown Lunenburg, rooms very clean and comfortable, excellent hosts and great breakfast.

Charming B&B in quiet area, yet close to the old town. A truly local experience.

Alcion B&B is a beautiful property, in a quiet and residential neighborhood in Lunenburg. Historic downtown is a pleasant 10-minutes walk, away. The room was very spacious, bed was super comfortable, bathroom was large and with all the amenities. Parking is available on site. Breakfast was plenty and varied.

Our room was on the ground floor, so in the morning you might be woken up by other guests having breakfast. If you like to sleep in, this might not be the best spot for you. Darker curtains would be nice, as lots of light comes in, early in the morning (it might be a different experience depending on weather and season)

Fantastic stay at the Alicion!

We loved everything- Alicion is a beautiful historic home with modern amenities and the best towels, linens and robes. We enjoyed the opportunity to chat with interesting fellow travellers over breakfast. The breakfast was a feast and varied daily during our three night stay. The location is perfect for exploring the harbour area and many shops and restaurants downtown. Owners Joe and Christopher are lovely and obviously take great pride in hosting guests and providing an exceptional experience.

Lovely B&B. Our large room was beautiful and comfortable. The spa bath was a treat. Breakfast was elegant, generous and delicious. We enjoyed breakfast with other guests but also had privacy. Lovely grounds, walkable to downtown Lunenburg. On-site parking. Use of veranda and living room.

Exceptional!!

Joe and Christopher go above and beyond, from their beautiful, charming, very clean property to exceptional customer service and an exquisite breakfast! So fortunate to have spent a night in their B&B! By far the best one we’ve ever stayed in! Would highly recommend.

Exceptional B&B

Excellent B&B located a short walk from town centre. Room spacious and well equipped with large en-suite bathroom. Plenty of room for parking. Breakfast was exceptional and varied each day. Joe and Chris were great hosts and would thoroughly recommend staying here if you are visiting Lunenberg.

Superb

All good, we really liked everything about the Alicion. Style from a somewhat bygone age.

We were in a downstairs room so could hear some noise from above, but thats what you have to expect if you opt for an old property like this.

Elegant beautiful B&B - Best breakfast ever !!

Our room was beautiful, comfortable and spacious and well appointed, even a Keurig for wake up coffee!! The Historic home was elegant and beautifully decorated on well landscaped grounds on a quiet street. Everything we needed or wanted to see was within walking distance, including very good restaurants. Joe, our host, was amazing!! Very personable and helpful. His breakfast parfaits and muffins are the best and Christophers breakfast entrees were the most creative and delicious ever!! Thanks guys for a wonderful stay in Lunenburg!! Happy travels !!!!

Do not miss out on this gem.

Joe was an excellent host. The room was delightful, roomy and had little extras like bathrobes. The breakfast was outstanding and more than I could eat. The location was excellent and the gardens beautiful. The host was always around for any help needed. Parking was easy.

Nothing. It was very charming. Unfortunately it was inclement weather so we were not able to utilize the beautiful lawn and outside activities.

Pretty close to perfect.

Really enjoyed having breakfast with fellow travellers. The presentation and the quality of the breakfast was perfection and I would not hesitate to stay here again. The decor was just right and seeing a red cardinal in the garden was icing on the cake. Joe is an excellent host and you could not find a better B and B anywhere.

Best B&B experience that we've ever had!

Joe was such a welcoming host! Breakfasts were delicious, and staying in such a well-kept historic home was perfect! The rooms were very nicely decorated, comfortable, and welcoming. Joe and Christopher do such a nice job of welcoming their guests and making them feel like it's our home too!

There's nothing that we didn't like! This was the best B&B we have ever stayed in and hope to return one day!
