Beautiful location
Beautiful house

The room was really nice and the hostess very kind and helpful. She booked us in for an evening meal at the pub next four which was very nice. đź‘Ť Also enjoyed the magazines and books made available.
The location was lovely for a summer visit but a bit tricky on the dark winter night we had.

We stayed for two nights, to break our long journey home, and wanted somewhere near to Cirencester. Location is good but a car is needed. Host very attentive and the cooked to order breakfasts great. We stayed in a twin bedded room which was fine. As our stay was only two nights everything was OK.
Getting into Cirencester (and the surrounding area) is easy (by car). There is a local pub but we did not use it.
Had we been staying longer than two nights there was nowhere provided to unpack and hang up clothes, other than a few hooks and coat hangars behind the door.

It was like coming home to my own place. Every little thing one could need is thoughtfully provided. I have not slept so well in an age. I sat reading in the sunny, apple tree filled garden, played with Bella, the labrador, and enjoyed a wealth of breakfast choice.
I especially appreciated the sense of calm.
Truthfully? That I could not stay longer than 2 nights.
When booking a stay, I usually distrust 5star ratings. The Long House really does merit this rating.

Lovely hosts, very friendly and accommodating. Excellent breakfast. We only needed a one nights stay, would have happily stayed there for longer and would certainly book again when in the area.
I can't really find any negatives, it's a lovely old building full of character. An en suite would have been a bonus, but the facilities were ideal and perfect for our needs.

Nice village, pub next door served us a fabulous Indian meal.
Not able to walk into Cirencester, not en-suite, breakfast extra, bed too firm, fresh milk not available in the morning, bath needs a safety rail, shower curtain very stained, no wardrobe, only one dressing gown for two, very noisy from tv on ground floor at night, room tv very small.

I can highly recommend Rosedene Guesthouse. The host has provided valuable information for good activities and restaurants in the area. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful and it has been a pleasure to stay there.
