Really loved this apartment stay, stayed two nights as getting married in the area. Hosts have been great throughout, from initial booking through twenty questions from me. Had a minor issue and they attending straight away bearing gifts of Prosecco and a solution to issue. Wonderful couldn’t have asked for better :-)

The location, amenities and rooms were clean and well presented. The only negative is the single beds /pillows used by adults were not comfortable.

We had a lovely stay. Very cosy and clean and great location. People with mobility issues may struggle with steps. Really enjoyed our stay, very quiet at night and convenient car park. Ordered a curry from recommended place and was delicious.

Had a lovely stay at this at this property, it was very well equipped and the owner left a bottle of wine, pastries and milk for us which was a very thoughtful touch.
The views of the Solent were spectacular and the apartment very comfortable.
My only criticism would be that the flight of stairs up to the apartment are not really disabled friendly

Girlie Getaway
Myself and my 3 friends booked to stay here for a couple of nights 21st -23rd July. The apartment was easy to find, and perfectly located for exploring both Swansea and Portsmouth. The rooms are large, light, roomy and airy and it has great views at the front over to the sea. There were lots of good restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The kitchen was well equipped, although we all agreed a couple of tea towels would have been handy in the kitchen. There was loads of room for everyone to sit in the lounge, and we all really enjoyed our time in the apartment. Communication with the host was great and we had no issues whatsoever.

Family holiday Southsea
The property was easy to rent through the Vrbo website and queries to the owner were responded to promptly. The property made an excellent base to explore Southsea on foot and by car and the Historic Dockyards were only a 5 minute drive away. Jane was an excellent host who responded to our queries throughout the holiday and any concerns were sorted out promptly. We would happily stay here again.

Portsmouth At Its Best!
My family (two adults and two young kids) stayed at this fabulous property over the Jubilee weekend and honestly I was SHOCKED it wasn’t booked well in advance of when we went. This is an absolutely gorgeous property, somehow even prettier than it is in the pictures in the listing. It is about as ideal a location for seeing the sights of the city as it is possible to be, and it’s clear the property is extremely well maintained and thoughtfully presented. Jane is super responsive to any needs, and all her directions and tips were easy to follow. We had an amazing time - the kids were devastated to leave! - and I can’t think of a better place to stay in Portsmouth on any return trips. Book this place when you have the chance, or I will!

Lovely view
Great place to stay right on southsea common with a great view. Lots of space in the flat and some nice touches from the owners when we arrived, would definitely recommend!

Great location, brilliant stay
We - 6 adults - had a fabulous weekend in this property, right on the seafront in Southsea. A bit like a TARDIS and bigger on the inside than you'd think! Warm, very comfortable and well-equipped, with plenty of space and enough hot water to keep everyone happy.
Check-in was efficient, and communication with Jane (the host) was easy, prompt and reassuring.
The property is but a 20-30 minute walk (depending on how much you meander along the sea wall) to Gunwharf Quays, the Dockyard, and similar into Portsmouth town. Close enough to the action, but not too close...

Modern flat in fabulous location.
Beautiful flat across the road from the promenade. Great location close to a supermarket and the beach. Unfortunately the shower in the en-suite was stuck on scorching and we had difficulty getting the luggage up four flights of stairs.

Weekend in Southsea
We really enjoyed our stay in this very spacious apartment with great views. The location was good and walking distance to lots of restaurants and cafes. We also booked a trip on the hover craft to the Isle of Wight, which only took 10 mins and was well worth the visit. Communication with Jane was great from booking to check out. Thank you for the bottle of prosecco to celebrate my birthday.

A Brilliant Short Break
What a fabulous apartment! It’s much bigger and grander than the photos make it look, very spacious. It suited our needs perfectly. The location was very convenient to getting out and about along the sea front and we really enjoyed the views from the lounge window. All communication with host Jane was quick and friendly. I wouldn’t haste to recommend this place!

No better location for a stay in Southsea
We all enjoyed our stay very much and the location really was the best bit. Pretty much everything we wanted or needed locally was within a 20 min walk. Gunwharf Quays, both Piers, the hovercraft to the Isle of Wight and lots more.
Loved the continuous flow of a variety of boats, ships etc and alway activity on the common to watch over. Highly recommend a hover trip over to Ryde on the IoW for sandy beaches and more.
Many thanks Jane, much enjoyed staycation this year :)

Excellent accommodation and location
Stayed for one week with my family 6 adulation and one baby. It is an amazing property with plenty of space and well equipped. We arrived to a bottle of wine and plenty of the essentials, which we were so grateful for having been held up in traffic for hours. The location is perfect for getting around by foot, close to the beach and also the harbour. The owner was so helpful and polite and answered any query immediately. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again. The property was above what we expected.

Watching the ships go by.
Fabulous, spacious, very clean apartment with to die for views over the Solent.Close to everything you need in a holiday ie shops, bars, beach and restaurants. Plenty of space for us ( with two teenagers) to spread out and be comfortable. Everything was wonderful from the prompt communication, easy check in and the Welcome pack of breakfast supplies, coffee.tea, sugar and milk and a very welcome bottle of wine.
Could have done with some fans as the weather was exceptionally hot but all in all it was a great place to stay. Thank you

Amazing location
We were in Southsea for a family wedding. This property was ideal as it was so comfortable and spacious and suited our needs perfectly. The real bonus was the great location and beautiful views across to The Isle of Wight. A special mention and thank you to Jo who met us on arrival. Her assistance and communication were very much appreciated.

Great location, large flat with beautiful park & water views
Plenty of room for 7 of us (2 grandparents, 2 parents & 3 children under age 10). Beautiful view out living room windows to a large, open park across the street & Isle of Wight in the distance. All of us enjoyed the constant passing of various ships (cargo, ferries, cruise, etc.) so bring your binoculars! A cake & ice cream truck, Bella Mia, with homemade gelato & even some gluten-free cake options, conveniently parked daily across the street from us, too! Centrally located within walking distance of many attractions, including an amusement park, D-Day museum, restaurants & shops. We would definitely return! (Please Note: this is a 1st floor flat which, to Americans, is actually on the 2nd floor. There are over 25 steps including 6-8 from street level to the building’s front door. This could be an issue if you have mobility problems.)

Excellent Location
Comfortable, first floor, spacious property, very helpful and friendly hostess, excellent location. Parking on street with included parking permit was good. Quite easy to find a nearby parking spot - a bonus as Southsea probably has the UK's worst parking problem - though it might be more tricky in the high season as spots are limited. I would stay again. Recommended.

Perfect location, great views.
Apartment was very clean and tidy, very much as described. The welcoming provisions were very much appreciated. It saved a dash to the shops on arrival. Good communications. Provision of parking permits for the duration of our stay was a very big plus. It saved any parking stress on arrival. Lovely views over the common and seafront towards the Isle of Wight. Very handy for shops, pubs, bars & restaurants and public transport (buses), all on the doorstep. All in all, a good base for our needs.

A lovely find and great sea views
What a lovely place, clean, spacious and well equipped. We arrived to find bread, butter, jam and wine and communication was excellent with the hosts which enabled us to go into the flat early when we arrived.
The best thing was sitting morning and evening on the sofa looking out on to Southsea Common and out to sea, watching ships and people watching.
The flat is well situated close to shops and some lovely restaurants, amusements, swimming pool, the common and the bus stop is opposite for a quick ride into Portsmouth.
There aren’t many places in this part of Southsea that are so conveniently situated for kids (park and pier) and my mum (close to shops and bus stop) so this is a gem of a find.
There is Netflix included on the tv which is good to keep the little ones entertained.
We’d defiantly stay again :)

Had a wonderful long weekend in Southsea staying at your great apartment. Kids loved bunk beds and soft toys! Great spacious property which was just perfect for our holiday break. Amazing sea views watching ferries on the Solent, and also watching kite flying on the Common. Walking distance to everything. Absolutely recommend to others!
