About this villa rental

Villa Naxos, among the closest to the sea, is located in a closed and quiet street, with access for residents only. It is just 200 meters from the wonderful Recanati beach and 300 meters from the tourist center, where you can find numerous services: restaurants / pizzerias, supermarket, newsagent, bar, pharmacy, ATM, bus terminal for Catania airport. The villa has a private garden with lawn and Mediterranean essence trees and is an excellent starting point for tourist excursions to the eastern coast of Sicily and the hinterland rich in history, culture, traditions, archaeological sites (Naxos was the first Greek colony in Sicily), and naturalistic, being in the area of the valley of the Alcantara river, which with its flow has created over the millennia, the famous gorges, known all over the world. The villa, built in Mediterranean style and fully air conditioned and equipped with window frames with mosquito nets, is spread over two floors. The main floor on the garden level is composed of a large living area consisting of a sofa bed and a kitchen equipped with a microwave and multifunction oven, a large fridge-freezer column and an espresso machine, a bathroom with a multifunctional shower cabin and a small room made up of wardrobe and a single bed, with the possibility of adding a second one.
The first floor consists of a double bedroom with air conditioning and large wardrobe, a bathroom with bidet and multifunctional shower cabin and a large covered terrace from which to enjoy the view of Taormina.
Outside, the villa has a well-kept garden with lawn and two comfortable deck chairs for sunbathing or relaxing in the shade, an outdoor shower, invigorating on returning from the beach, and a large covered patio with table and chairs where enjoy an outdoor breakfast or lunch.
In the back of the villa there is a veranda-box with washing machine and sink and a brick barbecue

Das Objekt ist mit seinem kleinen gepflegten Garten und umschliessenden Mauern ein Ort der Ruhe im ansonsten touristischen Recanati. 2 Badezimmer und 2 separate Schlafzimmer mit 1 Kingsize und das andere mit einem Einzel sowie einem Wohn-/Essbereich mit einem Schlafsofa bieten Platz für 4 Personen.

We had a very pleasant stay at Francesco's villa. It is located within some 5-10 minutes walk from the sea. We were 4 grown-ups and a child. There is everything you need for cooking in the kitchen. The bedroom upstairs is very spacious. The one downstairs is a little bit to small and unfortunately has only one very small warderobe and no other shelves or storage spaces. So that it is difficult to store things there, especially having a long stay. But this was clear from the photos, so we were prepared. Photos by the way give a pretty good imression about the villa.A big plus of the villa is the garden. It is very nice, in a good state. We ate only outside and spent a lot of time there. Another commodity is the bus station in the nearance. So that you can easily visit Taormina and other destinations with a bus. Francesco was a very carrying host and we would definitely recommend his villa for the stay in Giardini Naxos.

Very nice, clean and well located house with good atmosphere perfect for the family with 2 kids. More than well located away from noice, though in good distance for beach, shops as well as accessible for Taormina. Here one is not disappointed, but pleasantly satisfied.

Wir waren mit unserer Familie (2 Kinder) für 8 Nächte in Recanati. Francesco und seine Frau haben uns herzlich willkomen geheissen und uns das ganze Haus gezeigt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt mit dem grossen schönen Garten und dem nahe gelegenen Strand. Es hatte ebenfalls Sonnenschirme und Liegestühle zum mitbenutzen, so das wir nichts selber kaufen mussten. Auf dem Weg zum Strand (5-10 Gehminuten) liegt ein kleiner Supermarkt mit allem was man so für den täglichen Gebrauch benötigt. Für uns ebenfalls sehr praktisch waren die eigene Waschmaschine mit vorhandenem Waschmittel. Wir haben uns die ganze Zeit sehr wohl gefühlt und danken Francesco für seine Gastfreundschaft und Flexibilität!

If I could give this property more than 5 stars I would. We had the most delightful 5 days here. The owners have taken such care with this property - from the garden, the decorations, furnishing, equipment...it feels more like a home than a holiday house. The garden and terrace is stunning, shady and perfect for meals or a drink or just relaxing. It’s a short 5 minute walk to the beach, supermarket and restaurants and bars, as well as the bus stop that connects you with Taormina and Catania and all places along the coast. But the hours is located in a small street so it’s away from the noise of traffic and people and the only thing you hear are birds singing. Parking is also not a problem in front of the house. The hosts, Francesco and his wife went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Honestly I could not fault this property. It is really perfect and I could have easily stayed much much longer. If you are looking for a place to call home in Recanati, look no further. This is just perfect.
