Tudo foi ótimo. É bem próximo do centro, tem uma cozinha bem completa que permite fazer lanches e até cozinhar algumas refeições. Os funcionários são todos super simpáticos, o Royer tem um portunhol muito bom, além de conhecer muito a ilha e dar ótimas dicas. Chuveiro e cama são bem confortáveis.
A máquina de café e chá disponível 24h também é um ótimo benefício.
Não temos do que reclamar.

I WAS ABUSED HERE. HOTEL: MY FIRST NIGHT 9 PM WATCHING TV A GUY OPENS MY ROOM DOOR, I REACT QUICKLY AND CLOSE IT. THIS PERSON AGGRESSIVELY YELLS AT ME TO OPEN THE DOOR THAT WAS THE OWNER, AND WHEN I REFUSED HE STARTED TO INSULT ME BY SCREAMING DOWN THE HALLWAY, THE NEXT DAY HE NOTICED THAT MY SAFE WAS BAD, I ASKED THAT THEY NOT CLEAN OR ENTER THE ROOM, I HAD TO LEAVE MY PASSPORT, CASH, CARDS AND MY LAPTOP IN THE BOX WITHOUT KEY, I RECEIVE AN EMAIL FROM THE OWNER THAT THEY ENTERED MY ROOM, WHO REPLACED THE SAFE AND TOOK OUT ALL MY VALUES WITHOUT MY PRESENCE OR AUTHORIZATION!!! I COMPLAIN HIM FOR WHAT HE DID AND HE ANSWERS ME THAT I HAVE 1 HOUR TO LEAVE HIS HOTEL OR TAKE MY THINGS OUT TO THE STREET, I CAME BACK FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ISLAND. THIS MAN DID NOT LET ME TAKE MY THINGS IN PEACE, HE STOOD AGGRESSIVELY AT THE DOOR, THREATENING, HE DID NOT RETURN THE 3 NIGHTS I HAD PAID FOR AND DID NOT USE, TELLING BOOKING TO DO IT, AND THEN HE VIOLENTLY TOOK THE KEYS OUT OF MY HAND, PLEASE WHAT COULD NOT GET OUT THROUGH THE GRATE THEY KEPT WITH A KEY. I CANNOT DESCRIBE THE DISTRESS, PANIC, BAD TREATMENT AND HUMILIATION THAT I RECEIVED FROM THESE PEOPLE. I CHECKED PREVIOUS REVIEWS AND SAW THERE ARE 2 SIMILAR SITUATIONS WITH SINGLE WOMEN TRAVELING. AREA WITH HOMELESS, DANGEROUS AT NIGHT, POOR LIGHTING, THEY STEAL AND DISMANTLE THE CARS, RENT A CAR DOES NOT INSURE IN THAT AREA, THE NIGHT BEFORE I ARRIVED, THEY DISMANTLED THE CAR IN THE HOTEL PARKING, THEY WERE NOT RESPONSIBLE. HOTEL EVACUATION ROUTES WITH BARS AND KEY DUE TO THE INSECURITY OF THE AREA, IN CASE OF FIRE YOU LEAVE WITH THE KEYS OR YOU DIE. THEY LIE ABOUT ITS PRECARIOUS FACILITIES, IT DOES NOT HAVE A SWIMMING POOL, IT HAS AN AGREEMENT WITH A HOTEL 1KM AWAY, THERE ARE NO VIEWS OF THE CITY, BATHROOM OUTSIDE THE ROOM, CROSSING THE HALLWAY BE VERY CAREFUL, YOU HIDE YOURSELF WITH HAVING GOOD COMMENTS TO ABUSE, MY ATTITUDE WAS ALWAYS CORDIAL TO THE STAFF & GUESTS.

The King Suite was very roomy. Nice to have a kitchen, although we didn't cook. Simple breakfast on the patio. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. We appreciated the laundry facilities.
It's a little far to walk to the center or Pietermai. We would have liked a reading lamp by the bed.

Every morning we were served a beautiful, healthy breakfast. When we needed assistance with Netflix the response was immediate and when the neighbors upstairs were a little too noisy, the owners didn't hesitate to contact them.

Absolutely everything! The owners and the staff is just amazing - so helpful and always with a smile. The room was really clean and beautiful with everything you need. For the rooms that don’t have a kitchen, there is a shared kitchen available. The deal with the pool is also the best! My mum and I really had an amazing time and would come back every single time - definitely recommendation worthy!
The only small thing would be the garden - it could use more love like the rest of the house, but it is still nice!

The management here makes all the difference. The co-owner was there on premises whenever you needed him, helpful, full of information, concerned. The facility is really comfortable, and all the details are attended to. The approach is very modern; the co-owner can control everything -- door locks, heat pump -- from his phone, so if you have a problem, you can contact him and he can usually fix it at the touch of a button. He knows his island, and his recommendations are pretty much spot-on. When you like a place, usually there are some special touches that set it apart. For me, it was the free cappucino machine.
The Villa is on the other side of the lagoon from the main tourist area, Banda, in among banks, minor consulates, and small businesses, so not an area that demands to be visited. It's about a 10-15 minute walk around the lagoon to where the restaurants and markets are. It's not a bad area, but since there isn't much to it, you're happy enough to get through the door and into this very pleasant accommodation.

Schönes altes Haus, aber dadurch leider auch Hellhörig. Je nach anderen Gästen kann es gut oder echt nervig sein. Wir hatten 2 super Nächte und die letzte Nacht super nervig, weil die Gäste über uns die ganze Nacht getrampelt sind und Möbel gerückt haben....

Nos sentimos como en casa, las habitaciones son muy cómodas y, algunas, tienen una pequeña cocina. El desayuno es muy completo y balanceado. Hay café gratis en cualquier momento del día. Nos gustó todo, absolutamente todo. Paul, propietario del hotel, es un magnífico ser humano, muy servicial y especial. La casa en donde funciona el hotel es hermosa, con un patio espectacular, y las habitaciones son muy cómodas y han sido renovadas. El desayuno es muy completo y, si eres amante del café, podrás tomar cuantas tazas quieras durante toda tu estadía (el café el ilimitado). Es un lugar en donde podrás descansar, sentirte como en casa, y desde donde podrás desplazarte a los sitios turísticos de Curazao.

Overall, I found it a very quiet and comfortable stay. The hotel is a beautifully renovated old house. The room was spacious with windows to the street and all facilities. The breakfast was pretty complete, although the same every day. For me that is not a problem, but I prefer to mention it.
For a couple of nights, there was a lot of noise in the street, but that is not up to the hosts. Pillows are quite hard and high, but I don't mind sleeping without a pillow. So it was all sorted out. It is worth mentioning that the mattress is very soft and perhaps that is not very recommendable for people with lumbar pains.

This place is charming! We spent six wonderful days at Villa Amalie. We were totally comfortable, as if we were in our own home. Poul and Roger were always very attentive and very helpful to us. The location is perfect for walking to Punda (downtown). We walked there every day to enjoy the night in a bar or restaurant, but it is possible to spend very pleasant nights at Villa Amalie. In the outdoor area, where breakfast is served, you will have access to a hot drinks machine and great background music. Breakfast is very tasty, prepared with great care and served at the table with a sufficient variety of items, such as juice, yogurt, boiled egg, bread, fruit, cheese, ham and other items to be spread on bread. Our room had a mini kitchen, which served us very well when preparing our snacks to take to the beaches. Last but not least, you will enjoy the presence of the lovely Irene, a charming dog, who is present every morning at breakfast time.

The owners were absolutely amazing and were wonderful hosts. From picking us up at the airport to telling us all about the city, they were a wealth of knowledge! The house was beautiful and the courtyard was a great place to unwind after a busy day.
