Modern Zen Vacation Home -two story on the coast in Bodega Bay off Highway 1. . View of the-beach , waves you can see waves and coastline from the house. Beach right across the street.! Hot tub-on the outside deck with view. Three bedroom/3 bath— Ist Bedroom has a separate entrance/bath and kitchenette attached to the main house. Second bedroom bedroom is the primary bedroom with a king bed and beautiful steam shower in the primary bath. and 3rd bedroom has a queen bed and double sofa bed.
Upper small deck and larger deck with cozy seating area with gas firepit and hot tub looking out to the ocean.
Garden area, and easy access to the beach. Only a little over an hour from San Francisco and 8-10 min to restaurants and local grocery stores.
Views from the main living space and masterbedroom that are spectacular!!

The property is spectacular — incredible views and walkable to beach. We all enjoyed sitting on the deck around the fire pit or relaxing in the hot tub gazing at the stars. Lots of wildlife as well — various birds, bunnies, raccoons and even a bobcat. The town of Bodega Bay is close by as well as various parks. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Barr for opening your home to us to enjoy! If we have an opportunity to return, we will!

This was our second stay at this beautiful property. Unfortunately this time wasn’t as great as the first time. The whole reason we were there was for the ocean view, the sounds of the waves and for family time together. But the large windows overlooking the water were very dirty. The barbeque was filthy and one whole day was spent listening to the sounds of weed whackers and blowers from a crew cutting down the very overgrown landscaping. The manager did give us a small compensation but overall we were very disappointed. We’ll choose a different property next time.

We are a group of six friends who were visiting Northern California. We wanted to spend a night on the coast. Deja Blu was the perfect spot. The views of the Pacific were spectacular. The home is comfortable and well appointed. It was a great place to begin our vacation.

We had a fantistic stay at this vacation house. The views are breathtaking. The layout of the house was perfect for our group of three couples. Each couple had their own comfortable space, and the common areas were well designed for socialing, puzzle making and games! This is our fourth stay in this house and we will be back next year for sure!

We had a wonder family vacation. A five star rating across the board. The house is beautiful. The interior is stylish, roomy, and clean. The kitchen well equipped, and the rear deck is delightful. And excellent communication with the owner. The view is amazing and it is literally a 60-90 second walk to the beach. We have stayed at some wonderful VRBO rentals over the years and this one ranks as one of the best.

Long time VRBO renter all over the US and this house is definitely in the top 3. Very clean and well equipped and there are lots of comfortable spaces for lounging so we never felt “crowded “. Easy walk to beach. The host was very nice and accommodating. We’ll definitely be back !

We wanted a place where we could hear the ocean and enjoy a hot tub. This place fit the bill. It was very relaxing and exactly what we needed. The house was nicely decorated and the kitchen had all the items needed for a stay. We highly recommend this place if this is what you are looking for.

This property is truly one of a kind. We have stayed at a number of homes along the Sonoma coast and found this to be our favorite. The website photos are accurate and you will find an exceptionally clean property. Highly recommend a stay.

My daughter, grandaughter and myself (grandma) stayed 4 days and 3 nights and it was absolutly perfect! The house is exactly as pictured and the location was remote enough for privacy but only 8 minutes from the town of Bodega Bay. We walked the 3 minute path in back to the beach at least 3 times a day. The views are breathtaking and the sounds of the ocean waves so relaxing. We spent hours in the hot tub and enjoying the beauty around us. The house is very clean, very well stocked and had an excellant vibe. Barr is very responsive and easy to work with. I cant say enough about the place. Worth every penny. We will never forget our time spent at magical deja blue!

This house was beyond breathtaking. We rented it for our honeymoon. We loved waking up to spectacular ocean views, good coffee, and comfortable places to lounge both inside and out. Barr was great to work with. We hope to get back here in the future.

Best part is the ocean view that surrounds you and second best is the comfort of the interior as well as exterior of the home. We love that every room is different and set apart from one another, each with its own en-suite bath. Barb is responsive throughout.

Beautiful place, will definitely be back! The rooms are all very well spaced out from each other. Very windy time when we went so outdoor cushions were flying around and were wet from the ocean mist. Better instructions on the dishwasher would help since all the buttons are worn you can’t see what your pressing. Only downfall was that there was dog hair in all the carpets and blankets. For it being a “dog free” location it was really inconvenient trying to lay down comfortably in the living room without being covered in dog hair.

Can’t say enough great things about this property! Very happy with the kitchen setup. The views are stunning. The place was very clean and well furnished. It was exactly as featured in photos, if not better in person.

Location is amazing but we believe overpriced. Kitchen cooking wares need to be updated. Some pans need to be trashed. Ceramic pans is a must for the cost. Downstairs bedroom is adequate by cold and bathroom tiny. Communication needs to be better. We had a problem with the hot tub on first night, no reply until next day. We missed the best starry evening tubbing. We had problem solved on our own. We probably won’t return.

What an amazing property. The views and sound of the ocean are unparalleled. The pictures of this listing so not do it justice. Being able to easily walk to the beach was an added bonus. This was one of the cleanest properties that I have ever stayed in. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we could have possibly wanted or needed. We loved our stay and will absolutely be back!

The space was awesome - my wife and I traveled with her sister and brother-in-law, and we were able to hang out together as well as have our own space when desired. Easy walk across the street to several beaches, and a short drive to restaurants and stores. The view was amazing!! Would 100% visit the area and stay here again.
