Exceptional host and apartment.

Exceptional host. The little touches made it. dog treads. phone chargers. hair straighteners. Even shampoo and Conditioner provided. Loved the emergency pack,incase you forget something. Beautiful apartment very clean and tidy.

We went to Cromer to do a few days walking before going to a historic ball in Norwich on Saturday.

The property is maintained to a very high standard, the bed is comfortable, and the host is very thoughtful. The property is well equipes, love using the vacuum cleaner!

One of the best aprtments we have stayed in.

We have stayed in rooms from Booking.com all over the world and this was one of the best ones we have stayed in. The attention to detail was excellent from the fresh roses to the packet of "things you ,may have forgotten" in the bedroom drawers. It was very clean and tidy , well equipped with everything you could wish for. It was quiet, the bed was very comfortable and is the ideal apartment for couples exploring the area. It's not close to the beach but that didn't worry us at all. Parking was available beside the building when we stayed. We had a problem with a kettle that didn't work but that was sorted out in 30 minutes.

We couldn't fault it all. If we were going to be ultra picky the extractor in the bathroom could be better but that is an extremely minor point.

Home away from home

There were different variety of teas and coffees to choose from even though this was not bed and breakfast accommodation. There was milk and water in the Fridge and packet of cookies on arrival which I think was very thoughtful of the hostess. The property was very clean, welcoming and has everything you need to make a home in a quiet neighbourhood. Close to local amenities; shop and post office, Fish and Chip, Chinese takeaway, carvery and well served by local buses. 15- 20 minutes walk to the town centre and the Cromer beach if you miss the bus.

Taxi service was poor. There was never one available to pick us up from the property but once we found the buses time table and the proximity of the property to Cromer town centre and beach, we either travelled on buses or walked most of the time.

Great find!

Everything you need is provided, even a stock of things you might have forgotten, coffee, tea, milk and biscuits on arrival. Nice airey apartment, comfortable bed, large screen tv with netflix. About 20 minutes walk to the centre of Cromer but a fish and chip shop, chinese take away and convenience store all nearby. There is even an air conditioning unit available if needed but with windows either side of the building we had a nice breeze so didn't need it. On street parking outside.

Nothing, all good and will be back. One thing to note is that the apartment is on the top floor so there are 2 flights of stairs.

wow! this apartment was beautiful. Annette has certainly thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Phone charging leads are next to the bed, the lounge is really comfortable and the kitchen fully equipped.

Good base for walking and host could not have made it any better. Great facilities and comfortable

Fabulous 3 Night Stay

We had a lovely stay. The apartment was like home from home. Annette has thought of everything and I mean everything. Bed was so comfy had great nights sleep. The shower was very good. We had our dog with us and found a lovely walk into Cromer town. Would definitely return if we visit Cromer again.

Nice and spacious. Homely feel and would definitely recommend and rebook. Everything you needed was supplied. A lovely Easter basket was included which was a lovely touch.

This property was fantastic. There were so many little touches that went above and beyond what we would have expected - from the milk in the fridge, to the heating turned on so it was warm when we arrived, a clock by the bed (so rare, but so sensible), fresh ground coffee, usb chargers, toiletries, bus timetables and more. It was so appreciated and we loved our stay and would highly recommend it

There was nothing we didn't like. The property is about 10 to 15 mins walk out of the town and we wondered about this but there is a bus stop literally almost outside the door (coming from town) and just a couple of minutes round the corner (going into town). Used the buses every day and I'd say the location is excellent as it's quiet and there is on street parking if needed (we were able to put our 2 motorcycles on the hardstanding to the side of the property so they were off road and out of the way - brilliant.

A wonderful home from home to explore North Norfolk.

The flat was decorated beautifully, well equipped, comfortable, cosy and clean. very spacious and felt like a home from home. Very impressed and would definitely stay again.

The property was perfect for us and had everything and more you needed if we stayed again I wouldn’t take as many things with me as Annette thought of everything.

The stairs were a bit of a pain to keep taking the dogs up and down to the bathroom but that’s no one’s fault as we knew we were in the top floor and this reflects in the price we paid which was very reasonable for the property as it was so nice

Pure bliss, the perfect retreat

Loved my stay at The Upper Bakery, so many little touches that really show just how much Annette considers the comfort of her guests. The flat was warm and welcoming, and it was so nice to be able to relax and not have to rush out and get milk etc because Annette had ready taken care of it.

The only thing I might change was the hall light as it seemed to go dark just before I reached door of flat.

It was an excellent stay in North Norfolk which is good for the soul!

The apartment was very clean, very well equipped and very comfortable with ample parking near by.We liked it so much that we have booked to go back again in November 2022

The short break could have been by improved by staying longer!

We had the best time in this apartment and ended up staying longer.

Every single need had been thought of. The flat was spotless, beautiful, warm and cosy. The fresh flowers and “extras” such as biscuits, milk, herbs, sweets etc were very kind. The photos don’t do it justice. Parking was so easy and, being on the outskirts of Cromer, access to other areas was easy too.

What an amazing apartment
