We rented the 4-bedroom house for our family of 14 (8 adults, 6 kids). The house could not have been more PERFECT for our needs. Being able to just walk out the gate and be on the beach was definitely a plus. The house, lanai and kitchen were well stocked with all the conveniences needed for comfortable living and recreation on the beach, including boogie boards and surf boards! We would definitely stay here again!

My family and I felt like celebrities as people took pictures from the beach of this iconic Surf House on O'ahu's North Shore Pipeline. The house was by far the largest on this stretch of beach. Each bedroom has it's own private bath. The hosts are second to none and very responsive at all times!

Surreal!
We celebrated my mothers 80th bday. We were a party of 10 and there was plenty of room and never felt crowded at all. Views from every room. Everything worked perfect. Just wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you chancy and Myles for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Stayed at the Volcom house with my family on July 10-15 2017. There were ten of us, 6 adults, 4 kids and the house couldn't have been more perfect, plenty of room for all, each had our own spacious room with nice size bath attached with a balcony off every room. The living area and kitchen were nice and big and we could all gather there if we wanted, kitchen is stocked with everything you need, except a cheese grater. I'm sure there was one somewhere, we Just couldn't find it. But have to say there is one heck of a nice blender that we used constantly which is probably why we couldn't find the cheese grater :).The views from every room were spectacular!! From the first day our stay was perfect, Jason was there to meet us and tell us everything we needed to know, when we couldn't get the TV in the living room to work he was a phone call away and was there in 10 minutes, such a nice guy. My grandkids two 13 year olds a 11 year old and 17 year old loved the access to the beach right outside our door. I have to admit it was warm and humid that time of year but the breeze from the open doors down stairs and the fans were fine and the bedrooms have air conditioning. The only negative I would say is that in the evenings with the large doors open you may get some unwanted critters, we did, twice, it can't be helped, that's Hawaii and humidity. When Jason came to fix the TV we mentioned it and he apologized and said the house is sprayed every month. I'm sure they do all that they can but it's gonna happen, just do as I did, cower in a corner ( I don't deal well with ANYTHING that crawls or flies) and make someone deal with it, like your daughter-in-law🤣 (so brave). I have to mention the neighbors, Kaimana( look him up, professional surfer) was so nice to make my grandson's day and take a picture with them, super nice guy. We were sad to leave, we have so many great memories of our time there, and all agree we would love to come back, but only if they get a cheese grater.❤️

Amazing
We came from Virginia with two families. Four adults (two couples) and four teenagers. The house was more than perfect to accommodate us. Chaney and Miles were great ..and prompt to respond to any questions we had . We cooked meals in and had some out as well. The store and restaurants were convenient . The location for us in this house were the BEST on the North Shore and we were not disappointed . We enjoyed watching the surfers surf the big and small pipeline waves . Our boys surfed here as well and when the pipe was too large they still had waves in front of the house that worked well for them . We felt at home here and the waterviews are the BEST! We also spotted whales, surfers, rainbows, and amazing sunsets.
We look forward in coming back! We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else !

Very nice place, mixed feelings
We loved the location. Loved the open floor plan downstairs and roomy bedrooms with views. We did enjoy our vacation but there were a few things that could be improved upon and several things were not in working order: No cold water in one of the upstairs bathrooms and, in contrast, we did run out of warm water many times (not the end of the world in a warm, tropical climate), the dryer door was only able to stay closed with tape that was already in place when we arrived so it was probably an ongoing thing, refridgerator had a light on stating that filter needed changing, the dishwasher tipped dangerously forward when door was opened, kitchen knives were very dull...to the point that we could not use them, the outside gate was very hard to close and the steps to the ocean were broken and hazardous. I think that this house gets a lot of wear and tear each season with the Volcom riders but things should be in working order for renters.
Also, since we were there iin summer, the house was very hot in the afternoons. There are a/c units in upstairs bedroom but not downstairs. It affected us more because we had young children that took naps and we stayed inside during those times. If you were out enjoying the beach in the afternoons it would not be a big deal.
Lastly, we were given information about a rental company that can arrange for rental of baby equipment so you do not need to fly with all the baby paraphernalia ...but we did not get this information until arrival. It would have been of great help to have known that ahead of time.
LIke I said, we did enjoy our time but thought an honest review might be helpful.

THIS IS NORTH SHORE OAHU!
This was homecoming for me to show my kids, spouses and grandkids where I grew up. The PERFECT LOCATION!!!! 12 people, 3 generations, ages 9-62. Epic view of Sunset Beach and steps out the door. So much privacy for all with 4 bedrooms and full bath on each one. Each bedroom had a balcony overlooking the beach. Laundry room was huge help with so many people. Huge kitchen and great room with dining. Bike path at the end of the driveway, food trucks galore, snorkeling a mile away, Waimea Bay 3 miles, Haleiwa 5 miles, nearby golf. North Shore has everything you want for the true Hawaii experience. Outside of a trip to Pearl Harbor, we never left the North Shore. 10 days of paradise!!! THIS is where to be! Thank you Chaney for THE PERFECT vacation! Agent was awesome. Always available within a few minutes if you had a question.

Just absolutely fabulous vacation home
There was 13 of us on a special family vacation including 5 children from age 15 to 9.
Every floor had sliding glass doors opening up to balconies with wonderful views of the ocean. Waking up to hear the sound of the ocean every day just totally de-stressed everyone. We were very well taken care of with Chaney and Ty and they were very friendly and helpful. We could not have wished for a better vacation home. We were all sad to leave. We felt very fortunate to have had our special vacation in a very special home. Thanks Chaney and Ty for a wonderful job of taking care of us.

Awesome place for a north shore vacation
The volcom pipe house was the best possible place to stay on the north shore. The view was epic, beach was beautiful, house was clean, well set up for a group of 14, an amazing week was had by all of us waking up to surf and sun. A great place to spend my 30th birthday with all of my best friends.

Great Vacation
The house was great, the views were amazing, the water was fantastic, and the area was great. The North Shore is the place to stay in Oahu. It is away from the tourist trap of Honolulu and allows you to experience the real slower paced Hawaiian island life. The Volcom house was the perfect place to stay. We had 9 people and plenty of room. The mornings are fantastic with the cool weather. We couldn't get off of the balcony. The late afternoons got a little warm with the sun setting over the water but that was manageable by partially closing the sliding glass doors to block the sun. The sunsets were awesome. Tai and the guys next door that live in the other Volcom house were helpful with anything that we needed. We will definitely be back to the North Shore and the Volcom house.

Amazing house!
We recently stayed at the Volcom house for a week and it was amazing! The house had everything we needed. We had ten people in our party and everyone was comfortable. The kids loved the beach out front. We will be back from sure!
