About this house rental

Very unique property, newly renovated, with direct access the pristine beach from the front garden without crossing any roads. Sit on the balcony and look directly onto stunning views of Pambula Beach.

Three bedrooms (one queen, two singles/one double, and two sets of bunks). Brand new kitchen with dishwasher. Family bathroom as well as ensuite.

Large lounge and dining area (incl flat screen TV and DVD player) with amazing beach and water views opening onto large new deck with gas BBQ. Separate laundry with washing machine and dryer. Outdoor shower.

Free Wi-fi. Large selection of books, DVDs and board games, beach equipment incl buckets and spades, boogie boards etc. Ironing facilities.

In addition to direct beach access, walking distance to café and general store in one direction and to popular Pambula River mouth with playground and great fishing in the other.

Access to both the patrolled main surf beach and the uncrowded Lion's Beach.

Kangaroos often lounge in the garden, attracted by the natural bushland setting that surrounds the area.

If you are visiting the property between July and November you are likely to witness the incredible annual whale migration. Sit back and watch the whales frolic up close!

We loved our stay here. A wonderful family house with wonderful views of sea and such easy access to the beach. Even though it was too cold for swimming we still had a wonderful beach holiday. There was everything we needed in the house including children’s toys, games and beach equipment. Thank you Nick - we will be back.

The place looks wonderful, sadly we couldn't make it with a couple of sick kids! Typical school holidays! Owner was very understanding and gave us a refund. Will definitely try and book again.

A beautiful house in a truly idyllic location. Very quiet and peaceful but only a few minutes drive to Pambula village or Merrimbula. There was minor glitch on arrival but the matter was resolved quickly after contacting Nick the owner, who could'nt have been more helpful.

My hubby and I and our four teenage girls spent two nights at "The Breakers" PB. Apart from the amazing house, views, direct beach access, cleanliness, comfort and amenities of the property, the host was so accommodating and made our stay better than we could've hoped for. This property is in an incredible location and worth every cent. If we could give it a 10/5 we would. Highly recommended!

Beautifully private location with direct beach access to Lion's beach with busier Pambula main beach and Pambula river mouth a stone's throw away. House is good size for 2A and 2-4 kids. Would be too small to accommodate 2 families hence the listing for 6A max. Thank you for having us. The view was too tempting and we convinced ourselves a winter dip in the chilly water each day was still worth it!

Very relaxing

The property is probably gearded towards families more than a group of friends travelling together (one room has a double bed with an ensuite, while the other only has twin beds, but with a magnificent ocean view), but the overall set up of the house and the location make for a wonderful stay. The back deck is only 50 metres from the beach, so even though we stayed in mid May, the weather was kind and we enjoyed multiple walks on the beach every day. It's a long way to drive from both Melbourne and Sydney, but given we were travelling from both, it is the perfect 'half way' destination. It was exactly what we needed.

Loved our getaway to a genuine beachfront property made extra special by an arrival party of 5 kangaroos. Definitely one of the nicest beaches on the Sapphire Coast. The open plan living area and deck have a fabulous airy feel and good views of the beach through the trees. The fireplace added welcome warmth and added to the ambience! Beautifully quiet. Kitchen well equipped. Covid-19 put paid to our family joining us but the home could comfortably accommodate 8 (4 bunk beds). The laundry is below the front deck and accessed via the front steps. Great base to explore the wider region too - we visited Tathra to Eden and everything inbetween. Highly recommend The Breakers.

This house was so comfortable and the location is amazing. You could not ask for better views. The wildlife was an added benefit - as well as the evening kangaroos, there was an echidna living in the bushes and we saw several blue tongues going about their business.

Excellent property, with amazing views from the large deck. Very spacious and can comfortably accomodate 6 adults. Great location with a short walk to a few beaches. Fully equipped kitchen making it easy to eat in, with a nice open plan layout.

We spent two weeks at the breakers and it was sensational. The house was well equipped. The location is perfect with the surf beach at your backdoor and the rivermouth a very short walk. With a 2yr old and 6month old this house and location was perfect. We saw dolphins whilst sitting on the deck, an echidna when walking to the beach and the kangaroos visited most nights. Nick was a sensational host and made everything very easy. We will certainly be staying again. Thank you so much Nick.

Stunning property in an amazing location. Every night we sat out on the balcony overlooking the prestine beach, listened to the waves, said hello to the local kangaroos and watched the sunset. Fantastic renovated house which was perfect for our family. Wonderful kitchen and bathrooms and had all the necessities that we needed. Simple, elegant and clean. The kids used the boogie boards even though it was winter and it was so easy with the beach at the doorstep. Will definitely be coming back to soak up the sun, atmosphere and crystal clear waters while enjoying local seafood and a glass of wine. Thank you Nick, for being a wonderful, attentive and available host, we highly recommend this property for your next holiday on the sapphire coast!
