Buen precio, servicio justo y con suplemento sorpresa

Está en pleno centro. Justo al lado de la iglesia. No hay moqueta en las habitaciones y parece limpio. El precio es muy ajustado (aunque hay suplemento para mascota no indicado). Posibilidad de dejar las llaves en un buzón para el checkout Aceptan mascotas.

El horario del check-in. Que no contesten a las llamadas para poder concretar la llegada. Que sabiendo que llegamos en coche porque preguntamos por parking, no nos avisen que están casi todas las calles de alrededor cortadas por obras y por mercadillos. No avisar que cobran por mascota y pedir 10 euros noche justo al hacer el checkin y no cuando reservas y haces la petición especial en el mismo momento de la reserva, muchos días antes de la llegada. Olía muy muy fuerte a algún desinfectante tipo lejía mezclado con rancio (como fregar con lejía viva pero trapo viejo). Incluso estaba la ventana abierta cuando llegamos para ventilar, aún y el frío. El baño privado en las fotos se veía aceptable, pero está separado por puertas correderas que no llegan al techo, pegado a la cama y prácticamente no caben las piernas sentado bien en el WC porque tocan con la corredera. La ducha es pequeña. El colchón de muelles seguramente es viejo porque se hundía bastante.

Para ser una pensión muy bien.

Lo bien situado que estaba.

No tiene ascensor, para nosotros no fue un inconveniente, pero quizás para alguien sí puede ser un problema. Estábamos en un 2 piso y el edificio creo que tiene sólo dos plantas, como mucho, 3.

The coffee machine worked on coins, if you didn’t have change you couldn’t even have hot water Parking is only for 2 hours, after that time you have to come back and buy another ticket

Mika herself. Lovely room with lots of thoughtful touches

There is a coffee machine. But no cups or glasses or mugs. Who takes their own mug to use on holiday? Strange. Also the window in our room was open but we didn't know as the curtains concealed it - we just assumed the windows were old. The church clock chimed every 15 minutes all night. And it was cold. Our fault for not checking but it would have been helpful to have been told the window was open. Otherwise, an excellent hostal. Mika let us keep our bicycles in reception as well.

In general it was great and we would stay again if back in Benicarló. Very central

Mika is a superhost, very friendly and lovely person.

Maybe the mattresses were a bit unconfortable but the rest was fantastic.

Fantastic.

The owner is a wonderful lady, a very kind and helpful person. She helped me with everything I needed and we had some great chats, she is a friend to me now. The place is located in the town centre so it is close to everything and the place is super clean and well maintained, amazing value for money.

I loved that the hotel was pet friendly (though I didn't have one), clean, new, and well run.

This charming, newish place has EVERYTHING you need. It is also the cleanest little hotel I have ever stayed at. Located in the heart of Bennicarlo's old town, the location lends itself to exploration. I especially loved the little women's clothing and jewlery store across the street selling natural fibers resort wear.

Excellent quality,and value.

Excellent rooms,so clean,great bathroom,and a great kitchen available if you need it. Very close to the centre,and ideal for buses to Peniscola or the train station.

These are not complaints; just suggestions as it's a new hotel. 1.Room numbers on the door as every door looks the same ,and you can forget 2.Early morning all of the doors are closed ,even the doors that are exits,so you need to mark the exit doors incase people need to leave quickly. 3.I left early before reception was open,so you need a drop off point where guests can leave keys Really nothing to complain about.The standard is excellent,and it's a great location next to the church,and close to the centre.Everything was 10 out of 10 and totally clean.
