There is room for surfboards and outside shower is a great way to rinse off after the beach.
The dryer is located under the house near clothes line. Washing machine is in the kitchen.
The apartment is on the ground floor of a two apartment duplex.
Access to the house is completely seperate for this apartment as upstairs apartment has own seperate entry.
*For those with a disability/mobility issues there is one small step up to the front verandah and another small step up once inside the entry hall. There are another two steps inside the house from the kitchen up to slightly elevated dining/sun room.
Buses travel constantly up and down nearby Sydney and Pittwater Roads to all surrounding areas and the city.
Manly Wharf is in walking distance to catch a boat into the city.
I walk from the apartment to everywhere in Manly. However, If you need a car there is an off street space for a small to medium size car secured behind a gate. For a larger or 2nd car there are two resident parking permit for free unrestricted street parking. For those who find walking up a hill to the apartment from Manly difficult there are frequent bus services which stop on the flat nearby and a taxi rank at the bottom or the hill which cost about $7.
Manly is a fabulous lively city village. The apartment is up on a hill in a residential area, slightly removed from the village centre. This provides cool sea breezes in summer and easy access to all attractions without the noise and crowds.
Famous Manly surf beach or still water Shelly Beach (good for snorkelling or scuba diving) are in walking distance. Harbour beaches with no waves are also great for young families.
Sydney Harbour and numerous interesting and picturesque walks are also in the neighbourhood. It is just a beautiful Manly Ferry or JetCat boat trip to the CBD or Opera House, or if you prefer you can take one of the frequent buses to the city.
The relaxed atmosphere of Manly makes it a very special city village. '10 mins from the city and 1000 miles from care!'

Lovely house. Very comfortable. A home away from home. Thoroughly recommend.

From the point of booking there has been updates and information sent to us about whats on in the area and asking if there are any needs that we require to make our stay better (there was not ), as were were getting to the house slightly earlier there was accimidation made to leave our luggage on site so we could walk to the bay. The house is exactly what we were looking for a tradittional Australian old house with caricature, the premise has catered for everything us to our 3yr old gran daughter. All the rooms are big and airy and you instantly feel that your home. The location is only 16min walk to the beachs and Manly wharf whilst passing the shops.
When we retun back this will be one place we would book again.

Well what can I say, this place is incredible. We booked Robyn’s place back in 2022 for December 2023… and the communication with Robyn from the start was spot on.
The place is very clean and perfect for a family, supplying all the toiletries, laundry and even the coffee pods make this place that little more special… we had a car for most of the time but apart from going to golf courses we walked all the time (the hill you do get used too)

Robyn was a very good host and was also a very good communicator. We had to change date due a death in the family which was easily accommodated.
The home is of a very good standard and extremely well equipped. Its up the hill from Manly but no real problem and is therefore close to all of the facilities. I would highly recommend this house as a great place to stay.

We stayed for 2 weeks at the property while visiting from the UK with our 2 year old daughter. I was also 5 months pregnant! So arriving at the property after our long haul flight was such a relief. The check in process was very easy and the apartment was beautifully presented and everything that we might need had been thought of and provided.
It was well suited to our toddler as it was all on one level with lots of space to explore.
The location was ideal to explore Manly on foot, including being 2 minutes from a great local coffee shop!
Communication with the owner was excellent and she was able to accommodate many of our more specific needs around check out and cots and high chairs etc.
Overall we would highly recommend. Enjoy your stay!

We were in Manly for a family wedding and stayed for a week at Robyn's home in Fairlight. Travelling from Canada meant that we arrived early and had a late flight home; Robyn's home was a wonderful, quiet, restful place to be - with Robyn being incredibly accommodating with flexible check in/out for us. The home has 3 bedrooms (although we only need two) with two bathrooms which worked perfectly for us and my mother-in-law. The home is bright, cheery, very well stocked and the dining room was absolutely divine for us to have a family dinner with my Australian cousin post-wedding. The neighbourhood is family-oriented and suited us very much. A perfect stay for us, thank you so much Robyn!

Great location in Manly. Quiet, and 2 minutes from Paolo’s Coffee Shop. A short ferry ride to Circular Quay, so easy link to transport around Sydney. The house has everything we needed, and Robyn had some good suggestions for things to do and places to shop.

This was an absolutely fantastic property! Great location, all the little extras considered and communication so easy. It is up the hill a bit from the beach, but we just used our parking permit to park on Raglan Street near the oval to avoid some of the hill. Really wasn't too bad, even if you had to walk it. Manly is such a great place to stay, and this wonderful property topped it off. We would definitely stay again!!!

This place fit all of our needs. Large enough for 5 adults to comfortably stay. All the amenities needed. Short walk to the beach, restaurants, shops and wharf. We had a great experience and would recommend staying here!

A lovely character Sydney home in a very quiet street.
We were a party of 2 couples and a single 40 year old, and the bedrooms, bathroom and ensuite were perfect for us.
Whilst the kitchen looked excellent, and well equipped we did not use it, apart from cups of tea and coffee, because we ate out for every meal!
It is worth knowing that the house is up a very steep hill! We certainly got our 'daily steps' in.

Beautifully decorated and well fitted out for short or long stay in Manly. Lots of thoughtful touches and extras like beach equipment for the kids. Walkable to Manly beach, mall and ferry, although be prepared for a bit of uphill on the way home. Awesome local coffee shop 50m up the street.

Robyn was so helpful and flexible in having us stay at her house. She communicated promptly and clearly, and gave some excellent local tips.
Her house is lovely and comfortable, with good quality pantry basics and bathroom supplies. The coffee pods were a nice touch.

Our family had a very happy and comfortable stay at this beautifully styled, clean and cared for Manly home. It was walking distance to Manly beach, shops and a great little cafe close by. It is an uphill walk home which was fine for us but some might struggle with! Bus stops nearby though. Well equipped kitchen meant we could prepare our own meals easily too. Lovely light dining area and a very relaxing space for all. Everything was thought of by our Host who was friendly and easy to communicate with. Definitely go back!

We used this amazing residence for 3 nights while we were in Sydney for our sons wedding.
This house exceeded all our expectations, from the minute you walk in the front door and take in Robyn’s lovely interior decorating, to checking out the kitchen and realising it has more than everything you need.
Robyn is so informative, giving you all the details you need to get in and around Manly. Even offering a late checkout, which was truly appreciated.
Our wedding was on 30th Dec 2021, so we also stayed for NYE and we were delighted to know Manly offers its own fireworks, another bonus to our stay.

Our family of five loved our time in this gorgeous house. It has all the comforts of home, you just need to bring clothes and swimmers as the rest is there for you. Beautifully presented and styles with comfy beds and high quality linen. The owner Robyn is lovely to communicate with. We will be back!!

This property is very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. The location is great, a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The outside shower was great after a surf. Everything is great and worked well. If I had to look very hard any criticism it would be we prefer a firmer bed mattress. The parking was fine as the property has to parking permits plus a parking spot for a small car.We would love to stay again one day!

Having lived in Manly for 20 years it was our first trip back since leaving in 2017. We have stayed in many VRBO properties around the world and this property was 5 star excellent on all levels.Robyn was just a pleasure to deal with and personally helped when I had a family emergency. The property is better than expected and a wonderful light, spacious beautifully decorated and maintained property. The whole experience made us miss Manly even more and we will certainly be repeat customers.This property sets the bar and we highly recommend it for your stay in Sydney.
