About this house rental

Set yourself apart from other beach rentals in one of the only single-family rental homes, with pool, available on Boca Grande. Entirely renovated a few years ago with new appliances, flat-panel TVs, furniture, fixtures, baths, flooring, and in-ground pool, it sleeps 6 comfortably, and up to 8 including sofa bed. The property is adjacent to a tropical nature preserve, which offers privacy for your vacation, not found in condos, townhomes or even most other single-family house rentals (you’re on Boca Grande to escape everyday life – don’t stay in a place where you’ll be disturbed by others). Enjoy meals on the screened-in lanai overlooking the new secluded in-ground pool which starts at zero depth, ideal for small children, reaching 5 feet for adults. One minute walk to the best Gulf beaches, great for swimming or shelling. Walk, jog or bike on the nearby paved path to anywhere on the island, including the quaint town with great restaurants and shopping.

Absolutely wonderful property and stay. The location is truly perfect and the house has everything anyone would need to enjoy their stay. We have been coming to BG for several years and this was by far our favorite property to date. Hosts are very helpful and quick to respond to all questions and requests. The house was clean, well-appointed, no bad surprises. Pool was heated just right and enjoyable. Plus enjoyed the bonus of beach chairs/umbrellas and an unexpected bottle of wine and few cold beers to greet us upon arrival.

We have stayed at 414 Kidd Street numerous times, and we are never disappointed. The cleanliness, location, amenities and attention to detail can not be beat. The owners are responsive to questions, and the property has everything you could possibly want for an amazing beach/island vacation. My four kids (10,7,4,3) look forward to going every year and always request to stay here. The pool is gorgeous, and the house has plenty of space for everyone. It is located in a great spot to enjoy quite/privacy while still being close to everything Boca Grande has to offer.

We absolutely loved our 2nd stay at this great, private beach house that is minutes from downtown dining and shopping, and literally just a walk across the street to the beach! The clean, comfortable house is beautifully decorated and has tons of amenities. We love the upstairs desk that is right off the master suite. It's great for catching the early morning sun with a cup of coffee. Afternoons at the pool are great, and evenings with the pool lights on, surrounded by the lush landscape, can't be beat. The home is filled with lots of colorful dinnerware, plastic and glass drink/barware, plenty of linens for the bedrooms, towels for the bathrooms, and there's an endless supply of nice sized colorful beach towels for use at the beach and pool. You can really tell that the hosts, Bret and Lisa, care about the comfort of their guests. Thank you Lisa and Bret for letting us stay, again, at your beautiful beach home.

There are so many wonderful things about staying at this house. It’s quiet and secluded which was great for not worrying about the kids having a loud/fun time in the pool. Speaking of the pool, it’s simply great! Very large and somehow stays quite clean. Inside of the house was very clean and so comfortable. You almost feel like you’re at home. They had cupboards filled with the essentials. Layout is nice with Master Bedroom/Bathroom upstairs, away from other 2 bedrooms. Just a short walk to the beach which was very quiet with only a few other families. Overall we had such a wonderful time at this house.

Our daughter stayed at this house last year and we loved it so much we rented it this year. The house is in close proximity to the beach and town. They are equipped with beach chairs and you can enjoy the pool if you want to stay at the house. Looking forward to going back!!

Great location, lots to do, great restaurants in town and some fun little shops. Bit pricey on the island so do your food shopping on the mainland. Renting a golf cart is a must. Pool towels could use some upgrades. Overall good time.

This home is better than advertised. We had such a relaxing vacation that we didn’t want to end. We flew in and had to pack light but was surprised that that the house had everything we needed and more. It is very well stocked from kitchen supplies, towels, pool and beach toys, to board games for family fun. The swimming pool was a big hit for the kids and the beach was less than a short walk. Lisa was very communicative and made sure every need was met. We hope to be back sooner than later!!

This is our 2nd stay at this home and it was just as wonderful as our last! The pool is the cornerstone of it all - just peaceful, quiet, private. The house itself is also perfect for our needs. Our friends and their daughter stayed downstairs and we had the upstairs - makes for a nice separation. The kitchen is well stocked, the A/C is strong, and there's great water pressure (seems like a small thing but it's unusual on the island). We are very much looking to our next stay!

This was out third time back to the property, and each stay has been better than the last. The house is immaculate, the pool is amazing, and the location can’t be beat (short walk or gulf cart ride to the center of town while directly across from the beach). My 4 kids loved swimming in the pool all day and taking evening trips to the beach. We appreciated the privacy, and the new bunk beds were great! Brett and Lisa have a truly special place, and we thank them for sharing it… it feels like home away from home!
