Stay at this RIVERFRONT and enjoy everything Nashville has to offer. A home away from home. Enjoy the Cumberland views or go down to the river to the 150 feet private, virgin and sandy riverfront to fish, swim, sunbathe, or just relax seeing the river roll by, and the General Jackson River Boat.
Sleeps 10 in this comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 and a half bath 2400 square feet home with a back covered deck seating 15 comfortably, sun or rain. Close to everything.
A short 3 miles to Gaylord Opryland Convention Center, outlet shopping mall and 20 screen movie theater. Downtown is just about 10 minutes away for those fun country music nights. The River House offers a master bedroom with a king size bed, memory mattress and wood-burning fireplace, desk, TV and DVD player, and Pella doors that open to back deck with a nice swing; huge master bath with double walking shower, double vanities, large walking closet, toilet and bidet. Second bedroom has 2 very comfortable double/queen beds and a large closet. Next to it is the second bath, very quaint with a blue cast iron claw foot tub/shower combo for you to relax the old fashion way. Bath salts are provided and luxury towels. The large enclosed loft, with a great river view sleeps 2, on a 4 poster double/queen bed. It has a built in library that houses books and magazines for your enjoyment, TV, Cable; and a half bath. On the great room there are two sectional queen sleeper sofas, a large TV, cable, doors to the back porch, and a gas fireplace that warm the whole house, perfect to enjoy movie nights. The kitchen is well appointed, modern, granite counter tops, gas cook top, built in oven and microwave, 3 door stainless steel refrigerator, double dishwashers and even a warming oven. Next to it is the dining area that seats 10 open to the back porch with a gas grilled right out the door and your own home grown herbs for those home cooked meals, or even a fresh mint tea.
As the day goes by, start with coffee at the back large covered porch, rain or shine, watching the birds and the river. In the afternoon the warm Southern sun floods the house giving you that felling of wellness. And at night enjoy the moon's reflection on the water and relax.
If you are looking for a vacation to just relax, The River House is just the place. Or if you are looking for adventure, you are 3 minutes away from all the action or even being at the river down the steps in the backyard.
If you are travelling with family and friends, the house is licensed to sleep 10, and its open concept is perfect for a private event.
A romantic getaway would be ideal, with a second fireplace on the master and double walking shower.
If attending an event in Nashville, The River House is centrally located, close to everything, for those fun nights out.
There are also Arlo cameras located outside the front entrance and around the yard of the home as an additional safety for guests.

Spent a 4 nights here with my 3 kids to get the Nashville experience. The place had pretty much every amenity needed. Bedding, towels, toiletries, cooking utensils, laundry, etc. Pretty much everything one could need was provided. The home was very spacious and well laid out. We didn't take advantage but the covered outdoor deck & seating area was huge! Being on the river was nice but a little tricky getting down to it (very steep with a drop off). We loved the location. 5-10min drive to Opry Mills and Music Valley and 15-20min drive to dowtown. Very quiet, peaceful and safe neighborhood. Owners were great with communication and the check in/out process was a breeze.

Overall, our experience was pleasant. There were 4 of us (2 couples) that stayed the week of 10/24/23. I booked the home 100% for the back deck and water view. We spent 90% of our waking hours on the deck. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen was nice with new looking appliances. The stairs to the upper level were a little scary for us, but kids would love going up there. Some things we noticed that hopefully the owners will take into consideration. 1. Install a keypad lock. If you have a group that want to go out to different places you are not able to get back into the house until the person with the key returns. 2. The deck has not been stained in quite sometime. It will begin to rot without proper maintenance. 3. We only used 2 of the 5 beds, but neither were very comfortable. 4. I may have missed this in the description, but I didn’t locate the ice maker at the wet bar until after I went and bought ice. That was a great feature. I would highlight it. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. The drive to the airport is easy and only takes 12-15 minutes.

This home was beautiful. Lots of room for our family of six. The deck was enjoyable for morning coffee & card games in the evenings. Lots of seating at kitchen table. The neighborhood was nice & quiet & house was at the end of a culdesac. Downtown Nashville was a 15 minute drive. The Opry Mills Mall was less than 10 minutes away. Would highly recommend this home.

The house is in a convenient location being only 7 mins to the opry and 20 mins to downtown Nashville. Quaint and safe neighborhood with serene views of the river. Nice to see boats going by, deer in the yard and hummingbirds on the porch. However, very close to a bridge with hums of traffic. Deck perfect for gatherings and morning coffee. House well equipped. Cooked everyday. Convenient gas grill that hooked to gas lines. Had some hiccups in the house but excellent communication with owners and immediate responses. House could use some upkeep and overall maintenance. There are only 2 bathrooms and a 1/2 bath in the loft area. The claw tub is not the best set up for showers so we all used the master walk in shower. New sheets (some pilled and elastic gone so don’t stay on the beds), bathroom hand towels and more pot holders/trivets would be helpful. Overall a nice stay and wonderful owners!

Good location just far enough away to be relaxing but close enough to downtown and to the airport. There needs to be more flexibility with the check in/out process. In at 4pm and out at 10am is fine but if the property is not booked on the start or exit date an extra hour our two to accommodate flight times would be a consideration. When giving up six hours of time to accommodate the possibility of someone coming in that day there should be an equal trade off, with no fee, when available.

Came to Nashville for my bachelorette and this was perfect distance from the hustle and bustle of downtown so we were able to Uber on nights out and have an place to enjoy in. We were hoping for more of a “riverfront” but enjoyed sitting on the deck for coffee in morning and loved the spacious bathrooms and living room for all of us.

Overall, our stay was really great! There was plenty of space for us to stretch our legs and the area was quite serene. It was just a short ride to downtown and the airport as well. We had a couple of bumps during the stay, but they were resolved in a timely manner.

This was a wonderful house. It had everything you needed and more. The huge sectional and abundance of blankets made it a great place for my family to have a movie night! There was plenty of room for me, my husband, and our three boys to each have our own spaces if we needed it. The host was very gracious and made sure that we had everything we needed and that the house was what we expected. I would definitely stay here again if we come back to Nashville!

Property clean and kitchen well stocked, as we like to cook a meal or two! Very spacious! High chair for my great niece was a nice surprise. Beautiful property. Excellent communication from home owner! Maybe some new chairs for the wonderfully large dining table, and a less squeaky recliner, but overall we loved it!!!

We enjoyed staying at this lovely house. We were just in Nashville for the weekend, but the house was in a convenient location for everything we wanted to do. It allowed us plenty of room to spread out and we really enjoyed breakfast on the back porch each morning.

First, the home is great. Lots of space for our large family of 8. We had plenty of room to eat, sleep, and play together. It's got a great loft area as well. The location is good but not great. It's close in proximity to Opry Mills Mall and the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. But for most of the places you want to go in Nashville, there's not a direct route to get to the house. There's just not a direct route to get there. Overall, though, I highly recommend the property.

The stretch of sand on this property was absolutely what our kids (5 and 8) needed to get away and still be safe in COVID times. There were multiple puzzles for them to do, a quiet stretch of road for walks and short bike rides, and a great balcony to sit and relax with a good book. Will definitely be back!
