This was a wonderful retreat space after a busy day. The grounds are beautiful and the pond is relaxing and fun for nature-watching. We loved Luna!

We were here to visit my Dad and didn't spend a lot of time at the home. But it is well stocked with equiptment and bedding etc.. the walk to the house is a little long if you have a walking disability as i do, also bumpy and dark at night. Some of the moss is slippery when it rains. Beautiful grounds, although not as well kept up as my visit three years ago.

We have used VRBO for years and this has been our most loved stay. Most rentals feel like a motel but this was a home and most definitely felt like it. The owners are SO nice and their dog greeted us every time we seen them. Our 2 year old absolutely loved their dog. The property is beautiful and the home is as well. We had everything we needed including a playpen and highchair which was great because we ended up forgetting ours. The property is close to multiple cities so everything is nearby but it also feels secluded which was nice. I could go on and on about this place and we will definitely be back if were up that way again.

Colleen, Bill and their dog Luna were a pure joy to engage with! They made us so welcome! The space was amazing. They had everything you would need plus a few more things you didn’t think you did. Colleen’s artwork was dispersed around the space adding to a real artistic yet homey feel. We fished in the pond and c sight some bass and just generally chilled for the week. I totally recommend this place!

The property is very attractive. Very comfortable beds. Every need has been anticipated. Lovely owners who live in the house, but we never heard them. I hadn't realized the property is a duplex. That could have been clearer in the listing. The master bedroom is spacious with a comfortable king bed and very large bathroom. Plenty of linens, space and storage. Smallish TV in master bedroom and large TV in downstairs bedroom, which is also large and comfortable. My son slept there, and said it was very comfy. There's also a large pull-out couch that converts to a queen bed in the lower level bedroom. Smallish hall bathroom next to the bedroom with a shower. The kitchen is small and has no dishwasher, which would be a problem for me if I'd wanted to cook. We stayed only two nights, so didn't cook. The property is immaculate inside. One thing concerned us: there was peeling paint in the vestibule that we tracked inside the property. That would have been a problem if we'd brought our puppy, who eats anything he finds on the ground, and if we'd had small children with us. Another thing to note about the property description: Although this is an old farmhouse (which is totally charming), the property is very close to a highway, so there is highway noise at night. And it's right next to a newly built factory, which is not a problem, except that it doesn't feel like you are out in the country, which is what we were looking for.
Overall, we had a very nice stay and would stay again.

Tic tock tic tock… I’m back in my grandmother’s farm house. Every step into this gem spells charm. From the winding pathway into the beautiful entry, farm kitchen, gorgeous second floor primary bedroom and luxurious bath. The grounds are beautiful and the hosts most welcoming to enjoy it. We appreciated the close proximity to Philly and nearby shopping in New Hope. Restaurants and groceries nearby. Hosts; Colleen and Bill made sure all of our needs were met! Wonderful time!

If I could have chosen more than 5 stars, I would have. Hosts are great; friendly, helpful and concerned about their guests and their guests comfort. The place is outstanding; neat, organized excellently, decorated beautifully. They thought of everything that would make their guests’ stay comfortable, convenient and special. The grounds are great, as well; private, set up for comfort and relaxation, attractive and well maintained. I would definitely book another stay here. Great hosts, great place and convenient location to many different attractions and towns.

Our host thought of every possible need we might have had. Supper on their backyard patio was the perfect way to close out our day. Seemed to be 20 minutes from all our planned events.

Home away from home
Our two week stay was wonderful. It was like we were Souderton residents again living in our own home. Colleen and Bill were super hosts.

Beautiful property thoughtfully presented
This is a beautiful property highly convenient to Philadelphia. The house was beautiful and comfortable, well equipped small kitchen, huge bedrooms and master bath (liked the soaker tub and 2 person shower). There are many lovely spots to sit and a number of tables, plus BBQ facilties. We enjoyed sitting jn the gazebo on the lake and soaking in the water which was a perfect temperature when we visited.
Celebrated my mom's 93rd birthday and she really enjoyed it. Hosts were welcoming and friendly but unobtrusive. Lots of things do do nearby (museums, historical sites, restaurants, wine tasting, etc.)

Awesome Hosts.
Collene and Bill were very accommodating and very friendly.
The place had everything we needed and it was very clean.
Luana, their dog, was also super friendly and we loved having her on the property to play with my dog, Toby. Would recommend it to anyone who needs a stay-cation.

Beautiful place, great hosts
We were very lucky to find this property to escape the NYC shutdown for a month. It is a really unique, beautiful property with a ton of outdoor space for relaxing outside by the lake, paddle boarding, BBQing behind the house etc. the variety of birds and occasional visit by a curious deer were a nice bonus for us city folk! Bill and Colleen were super helpful and responsive-- good hosts and neighbors. The property is very close to supermarkets, restaurants, and other things to do all within 5-15 mins driving. The inside of the house is comfortable and the bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. We would certainly stay there again.

If you are searching for respite from the hustle-and-bustle of life, then this wonderfully renovated farm house can definitely serve as your sanctuary. For two and a half months, this secluded property, just outside Souderton, served as my safe haven. With their generous hospitality, owners, Bill and Colleen Algeo, made me and my wife feel comfortable at this home-away-from-home. In all honesty, this extended-stay experience was one of the best that I have ever had.Bill and Collen have taken extra pains to make nearly every amenity available. The residence comes exactly as advertised and pictured. With two full bedrooms, one and three-quarters bathrooms, a kitchen, and living room, this place can easily accommodate a family of four. Situated on a lovely pastural farmstead, this rural plot is tucked away so you can enjoy peace and quiet, and it also has plenty of space to stretch out. Nature lovers can explore the creek or the fishing pond. Deer and Canadian Geese are common visitors, and, of course, there is the house mascot, Luna Dog, who has plenty of love to give. It frankly can’t get a whole lot better than Bill and Colleen’s Stay and Be Home farmhouse suite.
