超棒的民宿，超赞的老板，强烈推荐！！！

位置非常好，距离汽车站步行5分钟，小院子十分温馨和舒适，厨房随时可以使用，有免费的咖啡、茶和小点心。房间很宽敞，甚至还有沙发，房间外面有很舒服的椅子可以坐着喝茶放松。早餐是我们整个行程中吃过最丰盛的，非常满意。但最赞的还是女老板，不仅能说流利的英文而且人超好！朋友眼睛出了些问题，她帮忙找了医生还替我们去买了药，开车送我们往返了岩画博物馆，最后还送我们去了汽车站，太感动了！如果下次再来的话，我们很想多住一段时间！强烈推荐！！！

While the room left much to be desired, the warm hospitality and delightful breakfast helped balance

The Family Guest House in Cholpon Ata stands out for its friendly owners and the impressive, delicious breakfast cooked right in front of guests.

Regrettably, the room was cramped, smelly, and uncomfortably warm despite the air conditioning. The bathroom facilities, particularly the shower, were subpar.

The breakfast was amazing here - such generous portions Bed was very comfortable and nice to have a private bathroom with good shower. The hosts are very friendly. Able to do laundry here, which was very important for us. The house is close to restaurants and the Issy kul lake

We weren't given the code for the gate and forgot to ask for this. When we returned in the evening there was no one to let us in!! Thankfully a neighbour was passing by and knew the code for us to get in.

Family Guesthouse- The Family Experience one needs when away from Home.

Everything. And most of all the Hosts/Proprietors. This is one place, which throughout our Kyrgyzstan trip made us feel that they truly understood the term Hospitality. From the moment we passed through their gates we were made to realise how truly they emulated the name of their establishment...Family Guesthouse. We were made to feel nothing short of Family. On realising that my wife had booked this trip as a getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary, Elina upgraded our room at no extra cost. She and her parents, who help her run the place are truly gracious hosts. Always there with a smile enquiring about guest's comfort. The place itself is very charming. Nestled amongsts trees giving one the feel of a log-cabin. Our room was under a cherry tree and Family Guesthouse will always be in my memory as 'A place under the cherry tree". And don't get me started on the breakfast. It seemed like an interminable affair. Freshly made Pancakes followed by porridge followed by eggs and sausage and fresh fruits followed by coffee. All guests cannot help but feel like royalty here, more so if you have stayed at other places and experienced the standard fare and especially if you consider the true value for money. But leaving the monetary aspect aside Family guesthouse is an establishment that treats all its guest like family. Elina even took the trouble of dropping us to the hot-springs and kept insisting we should call her if we needed any assistance with anything. And the conversations...that went beyond Business relations....we spoke to each other about so many things as though we had known each other from before. To us Family Guesthouse will always remain as the most charming, most welcomingly homely and the most comfortable stay in all of Kyrgyzstan. Thanks Elina and Family for making our anniversary all the more special.

We liked everything.... nothing that we didnt like......would have like some hot water in our bathroom though....maybe it was there and we couldn't find it...

Great

The whole family running the guest house is extremely kind and generous. It was wonderful to be greeted every morning at breakfast by Madame's cheerful welcome and bright smile as she served a hearty breakfast. The location of the hotel is ideal - a few minutes walk to the bus station and a short walk to the town centre and the shores of the Issy-kul Lake.

I loved the place. Right as I walked in the front door I felt at ease. They have a very beautiful garden! The room was comfortable, spacious and very clean. The breakfast was delicious and I even skipped lunch. Owners are absolute sweethearts!! So very helpful! I am glad I stayed here and I definitely do recommend it.

Best breakfast in Kyrgyzstan

Good location. Not far from Marshrutka stop. Very friendly owners. Nice garden. Excelent breakfast (just perfect). Owners took us to the bus stop for free next morning.

Our room and especially bathroom was very worn out and needs renovation. There are several buildings on site and other parts seemed to be in much better condition. Comparing to other our stays in Kyrgistan this was one of the most expensive rooms but also one of the worst in terms of condition. But hospitality of the owners and excelent breakfast completely outweighs it.

The friendliness of the owners made this stay a fantastic stop during our trip around Issyk-Kul. The rooms are perfectly clean, good breakfast, calm neighborhood. Best thing though is the atmosphere in the guesthouse, that is a cozy and enjoyable place to relax and get together for families and couples.

It’s a 15 minute walk to the beach, so you can’t rate the location 10 out of 10. Yet, we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more than we did.

great location to this family run guest house with an AWESOME breakfast!

The breakfast and staff are awesome! Every morning we had custom breakfasts made, three of our group wanted something different and the chef gladly adjusted their meals. The garden is beautiful and there is a lovely tapchan to enjoy tea on. The location is ideal, very quiet but the beach is just 10 min away and the main restaurant street is also close.

Garden rooms need some tender loving care, the showers need to be fixed with a wall attachment.

Wonderful family-owned guesthouse with great rooms

Very friendly place with comfy rooms and amazing breakfast. We really enjoyed our short stay. Close to the bus station and a short walk to the lake. The owner was very friendly and spoke good English. They even gave us a free lift to the bus station and let us do our laundry. Thank you so much!

Amazing stay !! Like at home

Our stay was amazing ! Elina and her family has been so welcoming that we felt like at home. The room was perfect, bed was confortable, room was perfectly clean. We’ve also been upgraded for free, it was a marvelous surprise ! Elina was always taking care about us, making sure that we had everything needed (even before arrival!). Wifi was also very good, in both commun area and rooms. We definitly recommand this place ! And thanks to Elina and her family for having made our stay marvelous !

The lovely place ❤️

It was a wonderful vacation. Mistress of the World is very hospitable and kind. He pays attention to the guests. The location of the house is very suitable, it is a 3-minute walk from the city center and 10 minutes to the beach. Good Internet not only for watching movies, but also for work (video calls). Breakfast is very tasty and nutritious. Mira also serves mint tea. I recommend this place both for relaxing with friends and family

Mum and Dad were so nice to me: from feeding me homemade manti upon arrival until dropping me off at the bus stop to my next destination. The daughter was only 1 WhatsApp away for English-speaking support. The room was really bright and clean, and the wifi fast. I especially liked sitting on the shared balcony to enjoy the cool breeze.

The Best Guest House With The Best Owners

If you want to get into the atmosphere of coziness and comfort, I strongly advise you to check into this guest house. My friend and I stayed for a week in August and were very satisfied. First of all, I want to note the hospitality of the owners. During the stay, we were provided all possible support (we were met at the airport, owners helped us with the organization of sightseeing trips, gave us delicious tea with various goodies). The breakfasts were divinely delicious. We already miss them. I also want to note a good location. The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay, the photos presented correspond to reality. Shops, pharmacies, cafes are within walking distance. There will be an opportunity, we will definitely come again!

A great family experience at a very good quality guest house.

This was an incredibly warm and friendly environment. The staff were so accommodating of the whole family and made us feel so relaxed and welcome. We have a 2 and 4 year old and the staff were so kind to them so much so that our son felt sad to leave on the last day. We had two rooms joining each other. We like that the living room had two separate sofa beds and we found that for us as a family with two small kids, the space was just right for us. We loved the little outside garden which had a little play area for kids and the very generous and tasty breakfast. We also loved the little hut we could use outside for meals. We were even able to use the facilities to do a little BBQ and host some friends who were staying nearby. It was great being able to use the facilities to wash up and also having a mini fridge in the room. We really liked that the location was walking distance to the beach as well about 10- 15 mins with small ones. We also liked that the guest house was clean and tidy. We would love to visit this guest house again and would highly recommend it to other families with small children.

we were unable to lock our bedroom door when we went out or to even lock the bathroom door for privacy. It would have been great to be able to lock the bedroom door. The other thing which was slightly a concern was that the gate was generally left open ( understandably for other guests) but there was a small concern one of the kids could have slipped out. However of course it's our responsibility to watch our kids so this wasn't a big concern for us and the area felt safe.

Guest House Gem in the heart of Cholpon Ata

Lovely family run guest house. Personal touch from the owners. Very friendly and attentive to their guests. Clean rooms with sufficient beds and sofas for a family. Breakfast is recommended. Fresh fruits, pancakes, sausage and eggs to get your day to a perfect start. English speaking host Elina is excellent, she gave us many recommendations of the tourist sites, beaches, restaurants in the area. Family Guest House is in a perfect location, off the main road yet close to the city centre, restaurants, pubs, beaches and coffee shops. We will definately return. Thank you x

Wonderful B&b experience !! (Just go for it)

Lovely place and truly fantastic host ! We knew we arrived in a little paradise when discovering the garden and the house terrace. Our intuition was confirmed when meeting Elina and being welcomed with fresh fruits from the garden, local yogurt and tea (our room was upgraded as well). Elina gave us very good hiking and surroundings recommendations, helped us get a taxi (and found a lost phone as well!). We’ll also remember our conversations around AMAZING breakfasts (we decided to extend our stay). Best B&B in Kirghizistan so far: thank you Elina :) !

Didn´t feel comfortable here, watch out for scams

Nice layout of property, lots of greenery, lovely garden. Nice chill out area in the garden.

when we arrived at the property, the owner-lady told us in a mildly aggressive manner that our "room was already booked" and offered us another room for a "little extra". Basically we realized we were shown a tiny rooftop room without windows and bathroom, accessible by stairs from the garden that wasn´t even listed on the property´s homepage and the better room for a "little extra" was the room we actually booked. Long story short, after some serious arguing we got the room we actually booked for the correct price. But a sour feeling remained throughout our stay because of that issue. So I don´t think I would personally want to stay again there. Facilities are okay: inside the room only a toilet and a tiny sink; showers were across the garden. Common toilets are pretty much just a hole in the earth. There is no common kitchen you can use. In theory you can use a giant gypsy-king style outdoor kettle to prepare food, if you bring your own charcoal to heat it, but its not the kind of thing you`d normally use to fry an omelette. The owner is always around the property, we felt a bit scrutinized. Breakfast seriously overpriced in my opinion.
