Swell motel is so cool. Right when you turn in from hwy 12, its a whole vibe. Great location. Nice pool. Pet friendly. We will definitely be back.

Swell motel, hidden gem of cape hatteras.

The staff and the hotel were amazing and very welcoming. We will be back for sure. My family and I had a wonderful time.

Everything!! Excellent mattress & pillows. Awesome lighting. Owners couldn't have been more accommodating. Will definitely go back & spend more time there.

We didn't leave at our expected time so we arrived much later than expected, staff left our door unlocked for us with the light on so it was easy to find at 2am.

The shower curtain needed to be washed, speaking from someone who has cleaned professionally leaving a stained unwashed linen in a room at this time with covid makes someone wonder what else hasn't been cleaned well.

Nice place to stay. Rooms were comfortable.

Great staff, and location. Great pool.. Lots of work being done. Can't wait to see how it all turns out next year. My bet is it will turn out great. See you guys next year!

Stayed two nights, would be nice to get clean towels for the next morning. No cleaning or checking out the room for any thing needed.

Superb location, friendly staff and great amenities for a fishing trip (with a pet, especially).

Location is ideal! You can drive out to the point and back without airing up or down your tires (awesome for frequent surf-fishing outings) and anything you need is either right there at the motel or within walking/biking distance (and bikes are provided) - including great restaurant options! Great pool, great space for pet. Very friendly and accommodating staff, good spacious rooms.

Noisy AC affected evening relaxation, motel's amenities still under construction so some construction noise also.

It was a great little mid century motel and a great value

I was traveling with my daughter and grandson. The room was large and the beds very comfortable. It had all the amenities you would expect. It had a nice picnic area and the pool was beautifully lit at night and great for adorning swim. It's located close to everything we were looking for.

Could put up a big sign for the office, took us a bit to find it, and they could pick up some of the Depree laying around,
