Beautiful, quiet accommodations with a view of the lake. The staff were always helpful. We had to leave before breakfast

Amazing

Beautiful room, clean and comfortable, lots of hot water. Excellent breakfast, employees friendly and helpful, also nice restaurant for fresh Hallstatt fish

Good hotel, awful staff

The room was clean and big. It was amazing.

We did not read the rules and we were planning to enter to the hotel with some drinks, but in the reception a lady was pushing out my wife, maybe without touching here but with the hands she was pushing her out, she was speaking in German so we didn't understand what was happening until a guy told us in english what it was happening. So we were kicked out for the hotel and we were eating outside in the street while raining; and the lady appears and she was laughing and like mocking about us. Today I did the check-out and ask for the manager, who was the same guy that explained to us everything in english the night before; he was very impolite and then he told me that the lady for last night was his mother. I recognized our mistake for not reading the rules, but the attitude of this lady toward my wife was very disrespectful and we didn't get any apology for that.

A good place to stay

The location is perfect. Our lake facing suite was beautiful and ideal to enjoy the views even when the rain forced us indoors. Breakfast was good..

The bathroom layout is illogical and uncomfortable. The shower faces the WC making the whole area wet. Towel rack is out of reach from shower.. Bathroom has a large window but no exhaust making it really cold when trying to air it.

El trato de la Sra.encargada dueña del Hotel, soberbia, mala educación, y muy malcriada. MUY MALA EXPERIENCIA. Por mi padecimiento de Diabetes es necesario comer en cortos lapsos, la Sra no permitió ni que sacara una galleta y nos reviso el bolso de manera insolente e inapropiada.

Kahvaltı çok güzeldi. konum olarak mükemmel. odanın büyüklüğü ve rahatlığı harikaydı. Tekrar tercih edeceğim bir yer.

Bazı çalışanlar güleryüzlü değildi malesef. check in için tam saatinde geliyorlar. ondan önce kimseyi bulamıyorsunuz. Odalarda su ısıtıcısı olsa çok güzel olurdu.

De cuento! No hay nada malo que decir al respecto! La habitación una autentica pasada y el balcón lo más. No se oye ni un solo ruido. Teníamos desayuno incluido y fantástico.

Velice pěkný, stylový hotel téměř v samém středu kouzelného Hallstattu. Prostorný, vkusně zařízený pokoj nabízel veškeré pohodlí, dokonce i malý balkónek s krásným výhledem na městečko. Čisto a ticho, snídaně splnila očekávání.

Trochu nás zaskočila velice brzká doba uzavření restaurace. Po 20,hodině už jsme večeři nedostali, ale v tuhle dobu bylo "polomrtvé" prakticky celé městečko. Vzhledem k nedostatku místa a zákazu vjezdu do centra je bohužel nutné parkování na poměrně dosti vzdáleném veřejném, placeném parkovišti. Ve vrcholné sezóně může být i problém s jeho obsazeností.

This is probably the most beautiful location that you could image.

The location was absolutely beautiful. One or two nights is perfect.

The is no parking in the town. You need to park in a local lot and take a shuttle. This was fine, but it wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the booking.

Nice place, staff could be nicer.

Location was good, food was tasty.

Staff was somewhat nasty. Seemed like we were bothering them by asking to be fed at the restaurant they stated was open until 8:30pm but decided they wanted to close at 7. I booked rooms in January 2023 for travel in Sept. my kids room looked into the kitchen of the next door restaurant. Not a view u want from the balcony…

Spacious room with lovely view

The room: very spacious room with lovely view of the mountain from the balcony.

Luggage storage room: it would be great if there’s a dedicated luggage storage room for those who stay there. I reached Hallstatt earlier and the team graciously allows me to leave my bag in the premise, thought it would have been great if there’s a dedicated room rather than on the walkway path.

Outstanding property

Definitely recommend and would stay there again. Outstanding renovation with all modern kitchen and bath. Large living room, bathroom and bedroom. Amazing views from every room and from the balcony. Clothes washer. Friendly and accommodating staff.

We loved everything. But just a caution for people with mobility concerns… you need to climb 3 stories of wide steps to get to the front door. And be careful when walking inside the house because there is one step up to kitchen, two steps down to living room, one step up to bathroom. I fell when not paying attention. The bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs.

Quiet and peaceful refuge in middle of old town with perfect location between all the sights and act

Great location. Quiet, comfortable and big beds. Friendly stuff, tasty breakfast and staff is always eager to help. There is even an elevator for your trouble after hiking around the hills. The shuttle to hotel from Parking 1 is a great commodity in this car free little village.

For us, the no. 14 app. is above the kitchen, so there a bit of kitchen aromas coming from below. Not great if you want to sit on the balcony, you might get hungry to fast and the smells may not be for everybody.

Excellent hotel in the centre of beautiful Hallstatt

The hotel is at the very heart of Hallstatt, in a quiet street. Room was big, spacious and super clean with a balcony with a fantastic view of the town, lake and mountains. Breakfast was super. Although there is no parking onsite, since centre Hallstatt is car free, we had a reduced fee parking with shuttle bus at a nearby parking P1, which was very conventient.

Wonderful family run hotel and restaurant. Very welcoming and accommodating. We asked if we could mail our hiking shoes ahead and they were happy to help us out. Super thoughtful things like a second set of glass doors to close out any noise from other floors. Restaurant is high quality. Room was a bit small, but had mountain views. We liked this place and would recommend.

Great

We booked a spacious and beautiful penthouse for three people, and it exceeded our expectations. It was clean, had a stunning sea view, and featured a fully integrated preparatory kitchen. The added bonus of two TVs, one of them being a smart TV, made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Unable to find parking on P1, we walked with the luggage to the penthouse instead of going with bus. The check-in area, located beside the kitchen, left our clothes with a lingering smell of food. Nonetheless, it did not significantly affect our overall experience.

Good location, eat elsewhere.

Good location, right on the lake. Hallstatt is quite compact, so within reach of everything.

Food was average. We arrived at 7:00 and they were reluctant to give use second round of drinks as they close service at 8pm. Staff were functional over friendly.

our stay was good but not great.

Room was big, clean, and had plenty of electrical outlets. Good location.

we were not happy with the restaurant. wanted a pizza and found out it was frozen pizza. ordered on dish and they didn’t have it. Had to order something else.

Enjoyed our stay, but above points need to be looked at.

Close to everything, lift on premises, shower nice and hot.

Lounge quite old and well worn. Bed frame very creaky. Would have like small fridge and kettle to make tea and coffee.
