About this house rental

Lakefront home with huge deck over the water. This amazing 4 bedroom 3 bath Lakefront home went through a freshly $200K update. The fine finishes are evident throughout. 1 mile from the interstate and minutes from the beach or Town Center make this location ideal. This house isn't missing anything. Beautiful screened in porch for enjoying the lake views. At night, the landscape lighting in the front and back gives an elegant touch. There's no doubt you'll wish you could stay longer and save this home to come back to. Close enough to enjoy the beach and you'll appreciate the quite relaxing lake when it's time to wind down and make memories with the family. There's a large park directly across the street for the kids to play as well.

Our family had an amazing time in this home. It worked for our large family. Rod was very accommodating and responsive throughout our stay. The large backyard oasis was the highlight. The deck over the lake was a huge bonus. Kids played in the lake EVERYDAY.

First and foremost, the location of this rental was superb. Situated in a peaceful neighborhood, it offered a serene ambiance that was conducive to relaxation and productivity alike. Despite being close to all the amenities and attractions of Virginia Beach, the tranquil setting provided a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. The property itself was immaculately maintained and tastefully decorated, with every detail thoughtfully curated to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. From the cozy living spaces to the well-appointed kitchen and bedrooms, it was evident that the owners had spared no expense in creating a welcoming environment for guests. One of the highlights of my stay was the seamless communication and exceptional hospitality provided by the owners. We stayed at this property, and the host was excellent at communication and even showed interest in what we were doing there. I love entrepreneurship and the true Vrbo that gives a great experience is an entrepreneurial owner. Not a house, lender! Will definitely stay here again with my ownership group when the time arises

Host was wonderful.. we booked this home in November however we had death in family.. he allowed us to give us another date.. he was very nice and home is beautiful.. we will book this location again and recommend it ti others.. location is great everything is close restaurant and shopping however we didn’t go out we just cooked and relaxed..

We really enjoyed our stay here. As a group of 4 adult women, it was comfortable and had basically everything we needed. The full master suite downstairs was nice for our elderly guest since the stairs to the other 3 bedrooms would have been hard for her. The location is close to everything, yet the neighborhood was quiet. The screened porch was lovely in the mornings and in the evenings and we spent a lot of time there. And watching the geese from the dock was sweet. The host was responsive and kind, so thank you! We will definitely stay here again.

Rod was quite accommodating, he knew we needed a place for our family to gather for my Mothers Celebration of Life and Tom the time to check to see we had all we needed. It was a lovely property.

Our host Rod was very welcoming and hospitable. He answered any questions quickly and was most gracious to us. We were in town to visit our military son, it was a perfect home to rent, everything is nearby! The home is lovely! We will gladly rent Rod’s home again if in the area.

Beautiful lakefront house with covered grilling and seating area right off the lake. The house was spacious and beautiful furniture. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the house and would definitely stay again! Rod was a great host!

The house was very spacious, comfortable and good location. We arrived a bit early and planned on just shopping until check in but a tropical storm was hitting. Rob allowed us to go in and unload our things early so we wouldnt get wet. We cooked dinner and breakfast with a well stocked kitchen. We had plenty of cleaning supplies to run the dishwasher and clean up counters. Trash bags and papertowels were also much apprciated since we had eight people and lots of trash from cooking. Bathrooms had plenty of hand soap, shampoo, body wash and towels. We stay in a LOT of rental homes because it works out to be the same price when you need four seperate hotel rooms when adult kids have girlfriends, but houses are so much nicer to actually be together. We played games (some provided some we bring), we carved pumpkins and just got to hang out as a family. Our sailor will be in VA a bit longer and we definetly want this house to be on the list to visit again. Thank you!

From starting point of contact of Mr Hobbs was very polite and welcoming. The House was very easily located and totally immaculate condition, so much bigger and luxurious than we imagined from the pictures. Full of the best updates and surprises actually, plenty of stuff around the house we could do for the first rain day we had in VA Beach. The house was something of our dream house you could say. Communication with Mr Hobbs throughout the days we were there was easy and I'm certain that if anything was wrong or out of place he would have corrected it immediately. I'll be saving this destination and contact for future endeavors for sure. Thank you again for the family vacation that we all needed!!

The backyard with patio and deck abutting the lake was perfect for our family to get together and visit. Mornings especially were nice for coffee when weather was nice and the morning lake wildlife provided entertainment with a soundtrack. Ducks, Canadian geese, turtles, birds, nutrias and jumping fish.

The house was just as pictured. Everything was clean and the linens were fresh. There is a screened in porch, an open patio, and a small deck/bar right on the water ( a small lake). The neighborhood is quiet and well kept. The bedrooms and living areas are spacious. We had 6 adults staying and there was plenty of room for everyone. The check in/out process is easy and the host is very responsive to messages. I would book this house again if I return to the area.

Stayed at this property during the National Duals at the VA Beach Sports center and could not have had a more enjoyable experience! The property was gorgeous and located fairly centrally to all major points in the city. Communication with the host was open, kind, and productive! This was a great experience and I would recommend this property to a friend!

We stayed there for three days, with my family’s friends. it was incredible especially the back yard. The first day on the afternoon ,we sat on the deck.we were drinking win with some food, It was really relax and comfortable . All the children love the lake. The played a long time in the water. I love this house. It makes me feel at home.

Beautiful beautiful home with great views of the lake! Home has extended it pier that includes mini fridge and wet bar. Home was very spacious all the guests were very comfortable and satisfied. Five minute drive to the local mall, 13 minutes away from the beach!

1) towels and face cloths dingy and tattered. 2) very little hand soap in the bathrooms. 3) there was a black hair in my bed when I pulled the sheets off to put on my sheets. 4) the house didn't appear to have been throughly cleaned and sanitized before our arrival. There was a pretty large hole in the kitchen ceiling exposing pipes and the dishwasher had standing water at the bottom so we never used it and hand washed the dishes. The exterior of the home had a lot of spider eggs and webs on the patio and the patio seating had a hole in it causing one of my guests to fall in. Patio lake grill didn't appeared to be cleaned for some time and had lots of spider webs that had to wipe down. Lastly, the chairs were so dirty that we had to purchase plastic covers for them. One good note, the home's layout was great for 9 people and the bonus room really worked.

Plenty of space, great location to boot. Rod was an awesome host and you will regret not booking this property for your trip!

Overall the house was clean and comfortable. The property manager was easy to reach and answered questions quickly. Throughout the week we ventured out to the beach, Ocean Breeze water park, and Bush Gardens. All which were easy to drive to from the house. In the evenings we would relax in the screened in porch area that provided a beautiful view of the residential lake out back. Our stay in Virginia Beach was wonderful and the memories priceless!

Beautiful property on a small lake with a dock for fishing or launching a small kyack. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive to our messages for information about the area. There was a nice playground across the street for our 4 & 6 year old grand daughters. The 4 year old suggested we move in permanently - she did not want to return home!

We booked this house as a quick Family Getaway. The home is absolutely beautiful and is in a great location. Having access to the lake and being able to enjoy it was something the children will never forget! Rod was great and I would highly recommend this property.. The neighbors were super nice and inviting..

I recently had an extended stay (3 months) at this property. During that time, there were several things that happen to any home like the freezer compressor dying, clogged drain, etc. The property owner was extremely responsive and took care of any issues we brought to his attention as quickly as possible. I would not hesitate to stay at this property again.

With a new addition to our family and the pandemic still going, our family needed a change in scenery. We took the 4 hour trip from Northern Virginia to have the perfect staycation. Our kids absolutely loved the bunk beds and secret room and my wife and I loved the outdoor space and eat in kitchen. As an added bonus, I caught some of the biggest black crappie of my life off of the dock! Rod was very responsive from the moment we hit "book". Needless to say we will be saying here again very soon!

This home was immaculate, even in the winter! My family of five and two of their friends were able to create a lasting memory in an environment that provided ample living space, in close proximity to several attractions, and an amazing lake view with a private dock. The photos in the listing undermines the aesthetic pleasures of this home. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a sophisticated stay while in VA Beach.

We decided to get away a bit after Christmas, and mostly stayed on the property while there. The house was spacious and kids had a lot of fun playing. The backyard had room to run around, and had great views of the little lake. It was close to the beach, and to places in town. We enjoyed our time a lot.

Never had to wash sheets and towels at any other place it was included in the cleaning charge. We had to leave one day early so that we could do all of that laundry. We reported icemaker was not working, had to buy ice every day.And two of the four TVs work
