We had an amazing time.
We had an amazing time. The cabin was fantastic and the photos don't really do it justice. It was very spacious and comfortable with a kitchen which had everything we needed including a full sized integral fridge and freezer. In addition to the bedding and towels, the owner had left milk in the fridge and there were cleaning products, tea towels and cloths and lots of hand soap and sanitiser. The owner was really lovely and helpful. She was quick to answer enquiries and even supplied us with some local information when I requested it. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect for the current situation and just what we wanted. The outside area was not overlooked and we enjoyed mornings and evenings sitting on the decking. We ate lots of our meals at the picnic table on the lawn. We had a barbecue, using the firepit then toasted marshmallows. Overall, it was a great location, lovely accommodation with very pleasant, helpful owners.

Locating property in Hirst Rd is problematical.
Locating property in Hirst Rd is problematical. There is no signage at all. Led us to explore the length of Hirst Rd for approx 30 mins not the end you want after a long journey. However, the lodge gave everything as promised!
