About this house rental
The 3100 sq ft 4 bed house looks down the par 3 fairway on the 12th hole of the Nicklaus private course with the majestic Santa Rosa Mountains framing the view. Live the desert life style at world class music fesitvals, PGA golfing events, Polo matches, the Indian Wells tennis championships and so much more (STVR #227972) .
The house and back yard has been recently updated with a new kitchen, new pool (finished Mar 31, 2019), new jacuzzi, fire pit, misting system and so much more. It is decorated so beautifully and there are so many amenities that you really do feel like you are on a special vacation.
Hit the fairways or El Paseo shopping or your favorite event, then relax on a private patio and pool area overlooking the Nicklaus golf course. The Santa Rosa mountains are available looking down the 16th fairway or west across the lake. The pool has a tanning shelf and four spillways for those warm days or a jacuzzi at one end for a chilly night.
The built in BBQ gives a carefree cooking alternative or prepare your favoirte dishes in the fully-stocked, state of the art kitchen.
The audio visual equipment in the living room allows our guests to tap into their Netflix account (or other streaming services), play music throughout the house on the built in speakers through their own device or just watch standard cable TV on the 65" LHD TV.
Sleeps 8 in beds or another 1 to 2 on couches. Our guests will sleep comfortably in whichever of the 4 tastefully appointed en suite bedrooms they choose. All linens are the finest 500+ thread count pure cotton on top of the line mattresses. The casita always seems to be gone first!
Catch the desert rays on the patio and pool area dotted with lounge chairs and an eating table. The private pool, the hot tub and gas grill overlook the golf course and the sweeping mountain vistas.
The main living area with the huge sectional is perfect for socializing and big group get-togethers or relax in front of a wall-mounted flat screen. The game room has a pool table as well.
A modern kitchen features granite, stainless appliances. The kitchen has all the utensils, pots, pans, plates to accommodate the hungriest of crowds. The adjoining bar ensures that this area will be the hub of the house. The dining table accommodates 8 or more with the leaves available in the hallway closet or eat casually outdoors.
The guest bedrooms feature a king and a queen bed with ensuite baths. Need some extra privacy? Take the 4th bedroom. It’s located in a separate casita at the front of the house complete with a king bed.

Four of us friends have been visiting the Palm Springs area for our annual summer vacation. Usually, we have had a great experience. Unfortunately, this summer’s experience was disappointing. The layout of the property was OK—3 bedrooms each with a bath in the main house and 1 bedroom with a bathroom in a separate unit (a casita). When we tried to contact the person in charge about some of the cons, he responded that he had not been to the property in many months and that an area of the house was going to be remodeled. We tried to contact him again and he never got back to us with regard to our concerns: 1) the main concern was that the air conditioner in the casita, except late in the evening would not go below low to mid 80’s which was very uncomfortable 2) The BBQ was not working which was disappointing as we enjoy grilling several times during our stay 3) there was no remote garage opener. Evidently the previous user accidently took it with them. 4)The ice maker was not working, though a bag of ice was left in the freezer. 5)The fan and main light in one of the bathrooms was not working. The overall cleanliness of the property was only fair. We hope these issues could be addressed for future guests.

Have stayed at PGA west many times, and this home is one of the best. Great location with view of mountains and sunsets. Three bedrooms and a casita--each with their own full bathrooms made it perfect place for a family/friends getaway. Owner was very responsive during booking process and stay.

Entertainers Paradise
Fantastic property!! Beautiful well appointed home with all the amenities and creature comforts. This house is designed for entertaining! Amazing kitchen, living/dinning room and the pool table is a great touch.
Outside, the pool and patio are a must have. One of only a few house in that specific community in PGA West to have a pool.
3 of the 4 people in my group, myself included, all own smaller properties in the La Quinta area that we use for Short Term Vacation Rentals and we all agreed that this is definitely one of the nicest places we've stayed.
With some luck it will be available for our golf trip again next week. We'll be making this our "spot" going forward!!

Great location, everyone gets a bathroom!!
PGA west is a great getaway location and this house has the perfect view of a par 3 hole that is close enough to see them tee of and reach the green, yet out of range from flying balls headed your way.
Every room has a private bathroom so no fighting over who showers first.

The pictures didn't do the house justice. We were so excited walking in. Great spot in PGA west and on a great hole. Host was super easy to connect with. Rooms were spacious and clean. Would definitely come back next year

Golf and Bridge Fun!
Very nice home with a great location. Loved the space, functional kitchen and great view. Manager took care of all of our questions and issues. We loved the hot tub and outdoor gas fireplace. There are two eating tables but the dining chairs were very wobbly. There were several broken chairs in the garage and one broke during our stay.

Beautiful setting
Large home with Casita. Pool and spa with large patio. Right on golf course, mountain view. Well supplied in the kitchen. Could have a few instructions to use grill, TV on the living and air conditioning in the Casita. A few things need action in bathrooms, loose facet and very slow drainig tub. The patio table and chairs were in need of cleaning alot of spider webs under table and chairs. These are small things but feel needed attention which we did let the property manager know.

Family get away
Great property with all en suite rooms. The views of the mountains are gorgeous and it's really fun to watch the golfers during the day while sitting at the pool or under the misters! Bike riding around the neighborhood was also an added treat! Thanks for making our short 4 days seem like 2 weeks!

Great family get away
This house was great for our family and friends. We had 8 people, 3 families and 2 kids and everyone had a great time. The house had everything we needed to make our trip enjoyable. I would recommend it for larger parties.

1st Class Home, Second Class Hospitality
While this is a first-class property, we found the pool was very dirty with plastic bottles and toys in the filters, leaves and dead flowers on the pools surface and dirty sentiment on the pool floor. It took 2-days to get a pool guy out to service it. The pool guy said there were no chemicals in the pool and it had not been serviced for some time.
The router was turned off and tucked out of sight under the dresser in the master so internet was an issue for about 36 hours while we tried to communicate with the owner and finally learn of its location.
Burned out canned lights in high ceiling bathrooms were never replaced (in one bathroom 2 out of 3 were burned out) and the garage door opener only opened the small garage door behind which the golf carts were parked. The opener didn't open the main garage door.
It's a beautiful property but owned and managed by a long distance owner who has little idea what is going on with his property. Represented he gets the pool serviced once a week...he is either being taken by the pool service company or, perphaps cancelled the service and forgot to start it back up??
For the pool and internet issues alone, you would think he would have apologized and given us a partial refund, maybe one nights rent but nothing offered despite the issues, some of which were never taken care of like the burned out lights.
There should be some arbitration or something thru VRBO to get some refund for lack of use of certain aspects of the property, like the pool and internet. And don't get me started on the most complicated cable system I have ever encountered. Even after the cable guy came by, three days into the trip, the cable system remained nearly unusable and incredibly complicated....never thought I would wish to have Comcast Cable or Dish satellite again. Spectrum was the worst.
We paid top dollar and I think we got about 85% of what we paid for.

Following a negative review posted about the property, I politely reached out to the property owner to inquire about the cleanliness and maintenance level of the property for my upcoming stay. The property owner refused to answer the questions and instead wrote back a rant, including: “Some people are whiners.” “I ceased worrying about reviews years ago.” “You will find out for yourself” and “[the condition of the property] is what it is”. Lots of options for your vacation - avoid this one!

The worst experience
Rented this home for 1 month. Walked in and a pair of shoes in middle of floor, fridge was filthy, oven had not been cleaned in years, shower door in master bath wouldn’t close, garbage cans in bathrooms filthy, dust everywhere, filthy windows, holes in walls, broken plantation shutters patched with blue painter’s tape, I could go on and on. The worst home I’ve ever rented.

Wonderful time at La Quinta .
This weekend felt as like if I stayed at a resort , the house was clean and cozy . I love that each room had a private restroom with its own shower making my guest feel much appreciated. The outside pool and jacuzzi where the highlight of our weekend . The temperature was always perfect and not to mention the view of the mountains the sounds of the waterfall .
