Very enjoyable long weekend with the family. Spacious property inside and out, shaded seating, a decked dining area and areas for the children to play meant they were happy. We had a few minor issues but Andrew & Helen were prompt with their replies. We would definitely recommend.

Family Break
We stayed here for a few days with our children (6 and 3) and parents. The house is in a great location for exploring the Forest of Dean and everything that it has to offer. Both the inside and outside space offered something for everyone, and we'd certainly stay again!

Family weekend
Very spacious and comfortable. Had everything required for a weekend away.
Lovely views from the property. Sadly it rained for our stay, but there is easy access to the forest from the house.
Kitchen very well equipped including washing machine and dishwasher, a microwave would be a welcome addition.
Plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 children.

Stunning property, can’t wait to stay again!
What a beautiful cottage this is. The cottage had everything and more that we could have wanted. We used it as a base for a family wedding at Clearwell Castle but we definitely want to come back and stay again to properly explore the area. Andrew has been really helpful and informative. Highly recommend!

A lovely spacious property, loads of space for six of us. Large entrance with shoe store and coat hangers. Nice kitchen with enough crockery and cutlery, and big pans. Some rentals that accomodate 6/8 have 1 big pan for cooking, there were several here and I didn't need to use the one I brought. Because of the very hot weather, we most enjoyed the double level outdoor area. Decking with a big table to sit around shaded by a birch tree and cane furniture on the lower level. To access the forest you crossed the road and walked down an alley. Great place.

Successful family reunion!
Just as described on line- except that there was rather more space outside than we expected-ideal for young children and aged adults

Great family holiday
Four adults and two children had a happy stay in the house. It was convenient for driving to the main sites and lots of great walks. We made all our own meals on the holiday and the kitchen was suitably equipped for everything we wanted to cook. We all appreciated the fire and the children enjoyed some of the DVDs provided. The village shop was well stocked.

Secluded
Our party consisted of grandparents, parents and 2 young children. We had plenty of room especially for the little ones in the living room to run around. It was chilly whilst we were there so we could put a log fire on in the evening. It's a beautiful area with a lot to see.

Lovely home for a quiet break
The whole process to rent the property was very straightforward; Andrew was prompt in his response.
The home was perfect for a large party: spacious and well kept. The village was very quiet and peaceful, seeing sheep roam around freely was a treat. Easily located for visiting sights in the Forest of Dean and for walks.
