Location - straight onto a fabulous sandy beach. On a bus route from Porto made it easy to get to. There is a bakery right across the road, but be aware it is a 20 min walk to the supermarket. All the communication was brilliant and grateful for the taxi transfer being arranged. Spacious apartment for us 3. Good wifi and TV channels.
Furniture a bit tired and a few simple things could easy be improved. A more comfortable mattress, a wardrobe in the bedroom and another mirror anywhere would be simple improvements. Perhaps also clear out the broken cutlery and chipped crockery.

Really nice house with everything you could need. Right on the beach, loved waking up and having my morning coffee watching the waves. Hosts were friendly quick to respond. Bed was super comfortable. It's an old house so everything's quite dated, but didn't bother me
There wasn't a lot of privacy on the back patio, it backs onto a busy walkway and everyone looks in, which was a little annoying

The location is perfect, walk out the front gate on to the boardwalk that extends for kilometres up and down the coast. The beach is right on the doorstep and the views from the veranda are amazing. There are a number of good restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. Access to Porto is easy by taking the 906 bus from the stop out the front of the complex.
The apartment was clean and reasonably well equipped. It does however feel neglected and run down and could do with some upgrading. There is nowhere to dry clothes and we were only three adults, could be a big problem if travelling with children.
We did not however spend much time in the apartment as we were always outdoors.

Loved the close location: you literally get out and fall onto the beach. Listening to the Atlantic waves 24/7! :) Communication with the staff in advance and during was super helpful with lots of local advice for restaurants - shout out to Celeste! :) Wifi superb, also for "workation"! 40min bus ride to Porto Trindade, also easy to stay without car/bike etc. Uber and Bolt scooters available all over! And a wooden beach walk of 20km+ next to the beach, perfect for your daily runs. Supermarket 15min walking, bakery across the street. Very quiet getaway! Top stay!

Location is excellent, a few metres from the back terrace to the beach. I liked being away from the city and having beach/bars/restaurants on my doorstep. Porto was still easily accessible by bus (30mins) and we went in every day except one. The host Celeste was very friendly and informative.
There is a large bush that partially blocks the view of the beach from the terrace. If trimmed back the view would be perfect.

The neighbourhood is amazing. The ocean is just a few steps from the balcony and you can hear the waves all night long if you leave the back door open. It is also true Oporto is quite far especially by bus, it takes 30 minutes to get there and the buses run every hour at the weekend. This place is ideal for those people who prefer the silence and being close to the nature to the more impersonal hotel rooms and the central situation.
Although the owner didn't speak English, she really did everything to make herself understood and she was absolutely kind and helpful.
