The location is great, on 5 minutes walk to the subway station and located by a busy lively neighborhood with bars and restaurants.
I used the google map, it's not easy to find the 'hotel, it's actually an 2 level apartment with no receptions. You have to knock the first floor bar to have somebody checking you in and gave you the door code. The stair is narrow and steep.

The Main Living Quarters was Very comfortable. There was adequate heating given you knew the kanji for Heating『暖房』and how to operate the Aircon remote. The electronic locking system was very easy to understand. The bartender downstairs was charming and the drinks were very good. The bar was very cozy and intimate.
The Entranceway into the property was very cramped and difficult to remove your shoes, especially if you carry anything more than a handbag. The threshold/step is too close to the door and a Backpack or Suitcase is out of the question - You have to leave it outside as you take your shoes off and keep the door open so in the cold that’s the last thing you’d want to do. If there is more than one of you, you cannot fit more than one person inside the entranceway at a time to remove your shoes unless they are slip-on shoes where you do not have to bend down to take up the entire space. The Kitchen was Very Cold. Those were the only complaints I could think of even if I tried. Everything else was perfect.

We loved the location. Lots to explore and eat. Easy to get to other parts of Tokyo. We loved the bar too. Great to have a kitchen and washing machine.
The bed and pillows werent that comfortable.

Amazing location and such a wonderful neighbourhood, staff and local facilities are just great
Of course it’s an old property so sometimes you can hear the flat above,

The 5pm check in means the bar is open and staff are available for entry
A little confusing to find

There is no breakfast, fortunately, there are food around the hotel. The location is great, close to the subway system.
I get the room No. before I go to there, but didn't give me the code to into the room. Fortunately, a very kind couple helped to contact the hotel, and assisted to communicate with the receptionist of the Bar to get the password to enter the room.

Well located, traditional house with all the comfort!

Location is perfect: right in the middle of historic alleys of Kagurazaka, close to many hidden Japanese dining spots.
The apartment itself has traditional looking setup, with tatami.
Extending the stay was a painful process with 20 messages back and forth and then making two wrong charges and two separate refunds, where I still had to pay for the fx rate.
Late checkout was also denied, even though it was within the timeframe allowed in the description.
The walls are very thin so the noises of the neighbors/ restaurants next door were quite disturbing.

The view into the garden was beautiful, and it felt like staying in an actual home.
Some out of our group found the futons a bit too thin.

Everything is so detailed and we can share the host's design of this apartment. He responded to enquiry fast and made sure we were all good after check in. It is a good for our family to experience a real apartment that we had seen those family scenes in a cartoon or movie. The eateries around were full of local vibes but we could not make it except the breakfast as we were rushing for the sightseeing spots. Exploring into the hidden alley was adventurous. The additional masks and alcohol provided made us feel good.
1. The garden shown on the website is only accessible for Room 1.
2. If using the JR line, it is short and easy, but we were always using local metro, with a heavy and tired body after the whole day tour, it seems to have many steps to climb up and walk back.
