About this cottage rental
Overview:
Overlooking Historic Kingston and Duxbury Harbors, this house provides an amazing private getaway for families, couples, groups, and history buffs. The house is a few miles away from Downtown Plymouth, but far enough to avoid Cape Cod traffic; 45min from Downtown Boston.
The House:
3 bedrooms (Sleeps 6), 1 bathroom, a spacious kitchen, comfortable den, screened-in wrap around porch with ocean views of Kingston and Duxbury Harbors, an outside deck, and a HUGE fenced in yard that's big enough for a good volley ball, frisbee, and washer toss games.
The Kingston/Plymouth Area:
All around Kingston, Plymouth, and adjacent cities/towns are historical markers, state parks, museums, tours, lots of historical significant sites to explore including most popular: Plymouth Rock, Mayflower II, Plimouth Plantation, Our Forefathers Monument, Ghost Tours and Miles Standish Monument in Duxbury. Those are a fraction of the sites that surround us. You will not be bored seeking them out!
Along with the rich history of the area there are lots and lots of restaurants (casual and formal), shopping, whale watches, fishing outings, and ferry's to Providence Town. If you're in need of something from a department store, the Independence Mall & other department stores are not far from us.
Again, please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions about the house, the area, or any other specific need you may have.

4.0 / 5.0
We loved our stay. The hosts were responsive to my many questions before we arrived. The place was delightful, the porch being our favorite spot. Only issue was that the third bedroom, with twin beds was pretty small and a tad uncomfortable for a teenager and an adult. It would work well for young children. They made do and I think, overall, enjoyed their stay. I have to say, the kitchen is the best equipped of any place I've ever stayed. Thank you, Andy Gillis!

We wanted a quick weekend getaway before dropping the kids back in school and this was perfect. The cottage is super close to the water and we enjoyed taking the kayaks out for a nice quiet paddling in the morning and then enjoying the historical sites in the afternoon. Andy was always a quick phone call away and was super helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights for a quick getaway and loved this cottage. It was the quintessential oceanside cottage. Very charming, and very clean. We loved sitting on the porch watching the sunset at night and all the boats go by in the bay during the day. It was very peaceful and the owners were attentive to any of our needs if we had any. Would love to return someday!

Enjoyed our weekend in MA in this lovely house. Great view of the bat and a large yard to play/relax in. Short drive to Plymouth waterfront and right around the corner from Persy's.
Will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips back south.
