Highly reccomended! One of the best private accomodation (i.e. not hotel/guesthouse) I ever slept. Everything you will need during independent stay in Mauritius. Surinam itself is a nice place - everything you need on one street 1km away. Rochester falls within walk distance. Hope that place will not change! Very good food served on appointment by Midou.

The property is situated brilliantly and is quite appealing. Was disappointed about the state of maintenance and that certain appliances did mot work.

The apartment had a great local atmosphere.

Under the kitchen there was a water,sockets were not working in the rooms and there was a sink leaking.The noise from outside is disturbing,mostly within the night.The bats sound is soon replaced by barking of wild dogs.

Absolute value for money. Even much more. All equipment working properly, everything in order, all facilities in place. The house is clean and well preserved. If you have a car, that is a perfect location for you. The hosts reply immediately through email on all requests you might have.

Good place to stay . we alwayss felt save and comfortable

Wonderful building under a roof made by wood and leaves. One of our prime destination in Mauritius.

Every day the cold water disapeared. This was always repaired within a few minutes. At the end of our stay the fixed it finally. To new guests will have no problems.
