Had a lovely stay at seagulls nest, the property was well equipped and perfectly located on the front but also near town centre and train station, with lovely sea views. Our stay was in October and the weather was poor so we were glad the apartment was warm and cosy, with very responsive heating and a powerful shower. The kitchen had everything you needed and coffee pods were provided for the coffee machine which was a nice touch. Two large bedrooms with plenty of cupboard and wardrobe space which was all clean too. There was extra bedding too. The apartment throughout was cleaned to a really high standard, the only reason I gave this 4 rather than 5* for cleanliness is that the bathroom could probably use a touch up as the tiles/grout have become a bit stained and mouldy. We had to call the office as our instructions hadn’t included up to date information about the outside door code- this was fine but I wonder if we’d been arriving late at night if we’d have been stuck. Only other piece of constructive criticism would be to get the lift repaired! Stairs were ok for us but nightmare with our luggage and you’d struggle with a pushchair or if your mobility wasn’t great. Overall though, a lovely little apartment 🙂

We read about the stairs on other reviews and honestly they are no problem (provided you have no mobility issues) the stairs are shallow and an easy climb. However I do think this should be very obvious in the property description The property has two large bedrooms and the lounge is a good size for 2 or 4 but I think 6 is not realistic for anything more than 1 night. The check in info we were sent was incorrect in that it talked about flat 4 once inside. I assume this was a copy and paste error and we had our keys and the flat number so had no problem. We parked outside to unload but Expect to pay the £8 a day in the large underground car park. Parking in Hastings uses the RingGo app The kitchen has adequate supplies, there’s eating out places around; we stopped off in Battle and brought some excellent and different frozen ready meals from Cook. Although we weren’t there to watch TV we did appreciate having a 50” TV with easy access to many channels and YouTube The flat is ideally situated for all local activities and we just enjoyed the area, especially George Street and old Hastings Other properties we had looked at were nearer St Leonard’s, once in the area we really appreciated being east of the pier.

Great access to the town centre and to all main attractions. Be aware that they are closed during the week and only open on weekends now this includes all major attractions. If you have mobility issues I would suggest speaking to the owner as we were on the top floor with no access to a lift, fine for us but not for all. Would recommend, lovely size amenities and you could not be closer to the sea.

The apartment was nice and clean but it is on the 4th floor and the lift was not working. This was not communicated to us and spoilt the holiday as we had to climb 8 flights of steps 2 or 3 times a day.
